The Production using 3D Printing of Fixture for Shaping Plastic Pipes
Tretera, Robin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis compares two options in production of shaping form for plastic pipe - handmade production versus 3D print technology (specifically DMLS method). The thesis contains detail description of the final part and shaping form with pros and cons of both production methods. Handmade production is more suitable for serial production with its lower price. In time pressure 3D printing comes up with its fast and repeatable results.

Technological Process of Security Key
Bouše, Richard ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis dealing with the technological process of a security key to the cylinder lock. In the thesis, there is a brief description of the lock and key history and development. Development is described from the first appearance of the primitive wooden locks to the invention of the modern cylindrical lock. In the technological process there are proposed and calculated basic parameters of manufacturing. Process is elaborated for all steps. From cutting a key blank to final product check. Subject of the thesis is also an attempt to substitute conventional technological process with the modern method of 3D printing.

Silicone molds and their use
Rudolf, Jiří ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the design and production of a headphone holder. Thesis is divided into theorethical and practical part. The theoretical part is described Rapid Prototyping technology, precision casting with use of silicone molds and precision investment casting. The practical part is focused on the design of a headphone holder in CAD system Autodesk Inventor and following production via two different methods. The first way is 3D printing by Fused Deposition Modeling method and the second way is casting wax and plastic models using a silicone rubber mold. Conclusion of this thesis contains technical-economic evaluation and comparison of both manufacturing methods.

Waterproof wireless IMU cover design
Kračmar, Filip ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and realization of waterproof wireless inertial measurement units cover to measure data of swimming training. The model of casing was created in 3D CAD software. IMU is fixed to lower back by using belt. Easy access to electronics and charging connectors are guaranteed. The shape corresponds to hydrodynamic requirements. Manufacture was made by 3D printing. Casing was tested of waterproof and used for measurement of swimming training.

Application of Modern Technologies to Concept of Production of Jigsaw Puzzle
Novotný, Michal ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the suggestion of the convenient technical and material variation which would be suited for the production of a puzzle. It describes attributes, purposes and use of puzzles. 3D model was created in a parametric design application called Autodesk Inventor. Then the work describes the making of the puzzle. The puzzle mould was milled into SikaBlock® M 450. The puzzle pieces were printed by 3D printer REPRAP using FDM method. In addition it deals with the alternative production of the puzzle. The technical and economic evaluation of the technical and material variations is available in the conclusion of this work.
