Title: Physiotherapy case study of a patient after ankle surgery Objectives: The aim of theoretical part is to obtain, elaborate and summarize knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology; all related to ankle joint and foot. Further, the purpose is to analyse information about traumatology, diagnostics and therapy of the area of ankle and foot. The objective of practical part is to write a case study of the patient after ankle surgery and to create therapy plan for the patient. The therapy plan will be performed on the patient so the results of the therapy could be evaluated. Methods: This bachelor thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part summarizes all knowledge that is related to the diagnosis of injury and surgery of the ankle joint. The information is analysed from different science domains: anatomy, kinesiology, traumatology, pathology, diagnostics and rehabilitation. The practical part is represented by the case study of the patient after ankle injury and several surgeries in this area. Michaela Stupková Year of defense: 2019 Objectives: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the theoretical knowledge about the knee joint, its anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics and traumatology, focusing on the anterior cruciate ligament. Then to introduce the possibilities of treatment of its rupture and physiotherapeutic care after surgery. The goal of the practical part is to propose the therapeutically plan for patient with this diagnosis, monitoring and evaluating the effect of the therapy. Method: This bachelor thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part is concerned with theoretical knowledge about the knee joint. The second part contains entry and leaving examination of a patient and a description of therapeutic units. This part was created during bachelor practice in the hospital in Kladno. Results: Since the condition of the patient has significantly improved during the therapies, I conclude that the physiotherapeutic methods were effective. Title: The case study of a physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with a diagnosis of total hip replacement Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to elaborate theoretical and practical knowledge of the diagnosis of total hip replacement and to process the case study of a patient with this diagnosis. Summary: This bachelor thesis is divided into general and special part. The general part is focused on the diagnosis of total hip replacement. It contains information about the symptoms of the diagnosis, the surgical approaches, different types of implants and the possibilities of aftercare with a focus on physiotherapeutic treatment. The special part is focused on the case study of the patient with the diagnosis. In the case study there is input kinesiological analysis, short-term and long-term therapeutic plan, the course of therapy with individual therapeutic units, output kinesiological analysis and evaluation of the effect of therapy. Application of physiotherapeutic procedures in conducting physiological childbirth

This bachelor thesis explores ways physiotherapeutic procedures and concepts can be used to effect the proceedings of physiologic childbirth. The beginning of the theoretical part describes anatomical structures relevant to pregnant women, the stages of labor, pain and pain medication. The thesis then deals with ways of influencing changes in the mother's body during pregnancy. With physiotherapeutic interventions we can achieve positive impact on the pregnant woman's body and her physical condition. Through these interventions the expectant mother is better prepared for labour. The topic of the main part of the thesis is the application physiotherapeutic methods and concepts during childbirth. The selected exercises and techniques to be used at each stage of labour can reduce labour pain and shorten the whole delivery process. The last chapter discusses exercise to be done during the puerperium. The practical part of the thesis contains a case report of an expectant mother, her kinesiological analysis in pregnancy and after the labour, description of her labour, a therapeutic plan and a description of her therapy sessions. The practical part also includes a questionnaire research of 51 women after vaginal delivery.

The general part includes theoretical knowledge related to the topic of reverse shoulder replacement and the therapeutic methods used in physiotherapy. The special part includes a case report of the patient with reverse total endoprosthesis of the shoulder joint. This part contains kinesiological examination, diagnostic and therapeutic management and the final assessment of the physiotherapeutic effect. Rehabilitation after Total Hip Replacement

Thesis title: Rehabilitation after Total Hip Replacement. Aim: To examine and better understand the human hip joint, coxarthrosis, total hip replacement and the subsequent rehabilitation care. This thesis consists of a case study (special part) and a theoretical part. The subject of the case study is a 71-year-old male patient who underwent a total hip replacement due to coxarthrosis and received physiotherapy after the surgery. The case study is composed of the anamnesis of the patient, and the details of the initial kinesiological examination, final kinesiological examination, and therapeutic procedures the patient underwent. The theoretical part contains basic theoretical knowledge, such as the anatomy and kinesiology of hip joint, clinical details of coxarthrosis, basics of total hip replacement, as well as some typical components of total hip replacement rehabilitation protocols. The patient showed some improvements after the therapy program. The aim of this thesis has been achieved. I began writing this thesis after my completion of an 80-hour clinical placement at the Revmatologický ústav (Institute of Rheumatology) in Prague, Czech Republic, during the period 4th February 2019 to 15th February 2019. The theoretical knowledges and findings were used as a base for creating proper physioterapeutical treatment for patients with diagnosis mentioned above. Methods: The thesis is devided into two parts, the theoretical part is aimed to spinal and spinal cord anatomy, its physiology and patophysiology. Moreover information about spinal cord tumors, their symptomatology, diagnostics and treatment are included. The practical part contains the case study of patient and includes in kinesiological analysis, detailed description of all the therapeutic units, out kinesiological analysis and the conclusion.
