School Social Work - An Attitudes of Parents of Primary School Pupils

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the social work in schools. The aim of this thesis is to find out the opinions of parents of elementary school students about the possibility of a social worker operating at elementary schools. Nowadays, words such as social work or social worker are almost unknown in the Czech Republic. Legislative for school social work is missing as well as experts working in the field of social work. Cooperation with the families of students is an important part of school social work and therefore it is necessary to inquire about the parents' views of school social work. The qualitative method and semi-structured interview were used to reach this text's goal. The sample population was parents of elementary school pupils from České Budějovice. The sample size was eight people. Data were analyzed using open coding and are presented using categorization. The research results showed that most of the parents would welcome the social worker position in elementary schools. The parents would mostly use social worker in the problematic scenarios linked with the students' problematic behaviour and to gather information about the functioning of school. Parents agreed upon the social worker being an asset to school environment. Some parents showed uncertainty about the need for social worker and expressed the idea of specialized teachers who already work at schools being able to do school social work as well. What can certainly be told is that school social worker position would have a positive impact on elementary school environment.
History of school in the town - village Vráto in the years 1929-1989

The thesis deals with the foundation and development of the primary school in the village of Vráto between the years 1929 and 1989. In its five thematic parts it pays attention to the basic characteristics of the period in question, including religious situation, school management, pedagogical activities as well as the public life of the school. With each period of time there is a focus on political and society-wide events which substantially influenced the running of the school and thus also the lives of the teachers, children and their families. The major source of information was drawn from the school chronicle.
Use of Primate Expositions in Education at Elementary School

This thesis proposes a possibility of using the exposition of primates in the Prague zoo during the school excursion for pupils of the 7th or 8th grade of elementary school. The thesis is divided into individual parts that theoretically analyse the importance of excursions for education and subsequently it is practically focused on facilitating the smooth course of the excursion and other activities that precede the excursion or follow it freely. In the thesis there is the general sorting of primates into individual species described in detail and there is provided basic information about primates that are bred in the Prague zoo. Further, possible excursion trail including individual expositions where the particular animals can be seen is described in detail. The main objective was to provide teachers with detailed instructions on how to make the excursion so it is successful. The purpose of the work was also to create materials which help to actively memorize the information provided and to raise children's interest in such an interesting animal species as the primates. Age and sex structure of elementary and high school teachers in Czechia from 2006 to 2016 Abstract The main goal of this bacelor thesis is evaluation of the most important development trends of age and sex structure of elementary and high school teachers in Czechia from 2006 to 2016. First we described system of czech education and then we analyze age and sex structure of teachers. In the thesis we used several indicators: average and median age, ageing index and feminity index of elementary and high school teachers. Based on this indicators we described population aging of teachers and feminisation of teaching profession. We created analyze of number of graduates of pedagogical disciplines on colleges and we also analyzed graduates of courses lifelong learning with a focus on education. Finally we described a forecast of number of elementary school pupils and the development of number of pupils per teacher for 2006-2016. Based on the forecast of needed time jobs of elementary and high school teachers in relation to estimated number of pupils we found out that we will need more full-time jobs of teachers. Catering and physical activities at elementary school.

This work deals with the issue of eating and physical activity of children in elementary school by comparing two categories - younger and older school age. The aim of this work is first to map the situation, to find out what is the level of eating habits and physical activity and whether the results differ in relation to the child's age. To provide the background to the research, a set of questionnaire questions for pupils was devised, focusing on two aspects of this topic - morning and afternoon meals and leisure activities with an emphasis on physical activity. The main finding is the fact that both children and parents are well informed about good eating habits and the importance of physical activity and they are usually trying to apply them in practice. The result is a negative answer to the question whether the age of the child is directly related, respectively. the influence of parents on children, the quality of eating habits and the intensity of physical activity. Minihandball on the primary school

Title of work: Minihandball on the primary school Author of the work: Tereza Karellová Head of the work: PaeDr. Ladislav Pokorný Abstract: The bachelor thesis is focused on comparing the movement level and handbal skills of children from minihandball section of Sokol Kostelec nad Labem and children from the primary school Terezy Stolzové in Kostelec nad Labem. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and research part. In the theoretical part we can find handbal and minihandball rules, developement of children in younger school age, characteristics of physical abilities, physical education and methodology of minihandball. Pratical part is about the interpretation of the results obtained during testing of the movement level of children. The test battery is consisted of tests verifying the movement level and handball skills. In addition the practical part includes proposed model of minihandball training for the primary school Terezy Stolzové in Kostelec nad Labem and comparing results from the first and final testing of movement level. The bachelor thesis is suitable for physical education teachers on the primary school, but also it can be useful for coaches of minihandball. The bachelor thesis deals with the economy of allowance organization, which is the Elementary School and Kindergarten in Štíty. The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical basis that concerns the general management of contributory organizations. The second part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of financial position of the school. After that follows the evaluation overall economic performance and proposals for improvement.
Evaluation of the Economy of Selected Public Sector Organization

The bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the management of the contributory organization, which is in this case the Primary School and Nursery School in Dolní Radechová, township Náchod. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical knowledge about the given topic, followed by the second part of the thesis dealing with the management of selected contributory organization. The last part of the thesis deals with proposals and measures leading to the improvement of the organization's economy.
Preparation of Special Educationist for Inclusion School

This bachelor thesis deals with the preparation of special educationist for inclusive school. In the theoretical part, there are described concepts of integration, inclusion, common education, professional workplaces and the position of a special school educationist . For the research part of the bachelor thesis there are determined two main research objectives. The first objective describes the possibilities for further education of special educationists in the common education area. The second objective aimed to find out how special educationist perceive the common education of pupils in the education mainstream. For the research part there was used the qualitative type of research based on the method of questioning. As a technique of data collection was selected the semi-structured interview. The responding sample collected ten school-special educationists who work at primary schools in the South Bohemian Region České Budějovice and Strakonice. The research has shown how often the special educationist attend additional qualification courses and common pupil training courses which are currently offered by a different institutions and they looking for the necessary information on current legislation. From the analysis of special educationists personal opinions , I came to the conclusion that mainly negative opinions prevailed among them in the question of the common education. Very often there were criticized unpreparedness and lack of knowledge of educationists, so frequent legislative changes or the large number of pupils in the class. On the other hand there was positively evaluate a support for pupils with special educational needs thanks to support measures and also the same opportunities for all pupils. The results of the bachelor's thesis can be used by special school educationists working in schools as well as by special educationists working in school counseling facilities. Here after educationists assistant or university students in the field of special pedagogy study. I see the benefit of this work in the need of the current situation mapping which is new in the Czech education system and has not been studied yet well up to now.
