Optimal control of a wind power plant
Paděra, Zdeněk ; Veselý, Ivo (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
The thesis first provides a brief introduction to wind energy and bring in the current status of this rapidly growing industry. Further, the distribution of wind turbines, their specific and general description of the construction is described. Emphasis is placed on wind turbine control system. The first goal was to build a simulation model of wind power plant in the MATLAB / Simulink usable for subsequent overall design of control system of wind power plant. Furthermore, the analysis of the control of individual components of power station in the light of the possibility of optimizing the operation and in particular the optimization of efficiency of plant, i.e. maximization of the reached performance is performed. In the last part of this thesis structure and parameters of individual control system of plant is designed and the results are discussed.
Usability of small wind turbine at household
Veselý, Petr ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Škorpík, Jiří (advisor)
The topic of bachelor’s thesis are small wind turbines, which can be divided into five basic parts. A history of wind energy is described in the beginning. Second part is all about manufacturers of wind turbines. Legislative and operating conditoins are prescribed in next section. Penultimate section deals with construction and main components of small wind device. Last part contains aerodynamic design with technical calculations.
Design of Roof Wind Power Plant
Augustová, Andrea ; Křenek, Ladislav (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
Topic and aim of my bachelor thesis is research and design of rooftop power plant cover in accordance with technical, aesthetic and ecological requirements. The aim is to create a cover, which will be minimalistic and modern, won’t be a disturbing element in urban areas and its shape will increase the efficiency of the wind turbine.
Renewable Energy Source
Mašek, Martin ; Škvařil, Jan (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
My bachelor’s thesis deals with description and use of renewable energy resources in the Czech Republic. At the beginning of my thesis I characterize individual renewable energy resources and its today’s use. In the main part of the thesis I focus on wind energy in more details, especially technical description of the wind power plant. In the end of my thesis there is a description of the small workable wind power plant and its economic analysis.
Renewable energy sources in CR
Vojáčková, Jitka ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis is scholarly recherche dealing with renewable resources of energy in the Czech Republic. The preamble discusses legislation covering the topic of renewable resources of energy. Next part summarizes the different resources of energy and possibilities of their usage. The major part is dedicated to wind energy. The last part deals with the Wind park Břežany and its economical and technical specification.
Different use of the wind energy.
Lakva, Petr ; Boráň, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jícha, Jaroslav (advisor)
The target of this bachelor study is describing basic type of renewable sources of energy. Emphasis is put on wind energy. Another part is description of different types of wind generators. In the last part study deals with problem of accumulation of wind energy for later use, thanks to compression of air in the underground mines.
Technical and economic proposal for wind power in the locality Břežany.
Růžička, Tomáš ; Chroboczek, Libor (referee) ; Škorpík, Jiří (advisor)
There is currently a construction project underway in the czech republic (Vesta V52) to build a large wind farm. Due to their size there is a lot of oposition to this venture. My project is a short history of using Wind Energy, the principle behind wind farms and detailed discriptions of Vesta V52 itself. You will also find a theoretical calculation of the produced electricity per year and considered cost and sustainability of the plant.
Design of Darrius rotor as source of electric energy
Novotný, Martin ; Houfek, Martin (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This bachelors thesis deals about possibilities to use alternative energy source - wind. Model of Darrieus rotor was build for learning purposes using accessible materials and tools. The build model was tested and measured to discover real functionality and characteristics.
Economic Aspects of Wind Energy Production in the Czech Republic
Mešková, Alena ; Ryvolová, Ivana (advisor) ; Zemplinerová, Alena (referee)
Over the past few years in the Czech Republic has significantly increased the interest in electricity production from renewable sources, wind power plants are no exception. In connection with them, there are several technical and economical issues, some of them deals with this work. The first part focuses on the theoretical framework of the studied area. It includes a historical developments and legislation related to wind energy issues, and the matter of interest groups operating in this area. The second, analytical part deals with the evaluation of economic aspects of wind energy production. How is this resource economically effective as well as regulation of this industry itself is a sensitive issue for many years. Therefore this part focuses on the costs associated with energy production from VTE and their impact on prices for final consumers. Furthermore, there is the analysis of ROI to VTE by regulated and unregulated purchase price of wind energy and there are stated the changes on the market provoked by the existence of regulatory measures in this area.
The prospects for wind energy in Europe
Sysel, Ctibor ; Kašpar, Václav (advisor) ; Vošta, Milan (referee)
This bachelor thesis analyzes the aspects of use of renewable energy sources, focusing on wind energy. It assesses the state of use of various alternative sources by European countries. One part of the work is focused on the evaluation of existing wind power technology possibilities and it explains the impacts of wind power plants on the environment. This work analyzes current situation of wind energy in Europe and it outlines the prospects for the future while assessing its limits.
