Comparative analysis of (selected) managerial styles

This paper discusses selected managerial styles, their mutual comparison and applies the theories of management styles to several model situations in order to compare which particular style the theories recommend for different organizations. The first part deals with basic concepts relevant to management of employees and briefly describes selected theories of management styles. The second part aims at mutual comparison of the managerial styles according to three criteria (employee orientation, orientation to the task and the recommended management style according to individual theories). Furthermore, recommendations of the most appropriate style proposed by various theories for different model companies (factory, advertising agency, hospital) are compared. In developing this work, literature review, analysis and summarisation of findings and proposed solutions to model situations were used.
Defining of the key managerial competencies for enterprise management in the Czech republic

The thesis deals with the managerial competencies. The aim is to define and identify key competencies to carry out the functions of senior managers in the Czech republic on the basis of theoretical ground and questionnaire survey extended by personal interviews. The relationships between particular competencies are determined in this thesis and consequently, these competencies are compared with competencies of the students of The Faculty of Economics in České Budějovice. For these students, reccomendations leading to increase their competency potentional are proposed.
Conflicts of roles - manager of the company is also the owner, manager of the company is not the owner - from the perspective of accounting

The work is about the differences in accounting according to company management, defines the possible differences in the financial statements between companies led by the owners or managers. The theoretical part defines the function and history of accounting, users of financial data, origin and activities of the audit, including a description of regulatory accounting statements in the Czech Republic and their explanatory power. The work focuses on the possible role of relationship conflicts owner and manager in connection with accounting. The practical part deal with results of the questionnaire and discusses selected cases of conflicts of financial analysis specific entity, which is also the owner of the business manager. The conclusion is comparing the theoretic knowledge with practical information.
Act on Personal Data Protection and Legal Relations

This thesis is concerned with protection of personal data in the labour relations and human resources. The aim of this study is to point out the existence of certain rules of processing personal data in labour relations. A practical view of these rules is supported by definitions and interpretation of basic terms, brief description of legal regulations and an introduction of typical labour-law acts. The crucial chapter, chapter three, is structured into sections which deal with discretions and duties of employers and employees and with staff selection procedure.
Time management pro manažery

Time management can be defined as "the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially increase the effectiveness, efficiency or productivity". The objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the concepts and tools of time management at manager work, demonstrating the use of time management on the example of two selected managers comparing the obtained results with theoretical issues and formulate recommendations for the correct organization of managers' time. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part summarizes the latest principles and procedures of effective time management, is handled through a number of publications both Czech and foreign authors. For the purposes of practical part the questionnaire was prepared for two selected managers, based on the answers which were prepared by the principles of effective time management.

Effective non-verbal communication, communication through body language, is one of the fundamental prerequisites for successful manager's performance. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the importance of nonverbal communication in human resource management and, on the example of management style and nonverbal communication of two the most successful managers in the world of information and communication technologies, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, to formulate basic recommendations for effective nonverbal communication of current and future managers. The bachelor thesis is worked out with the help of using specialized literature and internet resources, particularly video recordings of public performances of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are available on youtube.com.
Proposal of education and development of managers in specific company

Bachelor thesis is about: Proposal of education and development of managers in a specific company. Its goal is to propose an effective system of development and education of managers in company OKTE, a.s., which will be used as a base for the development and education plan. The thesis is divided in five chapters. First two chapters are theoretical chapters. The first one describes who is a manager and which requirements are put on him. The second chapter is dedicated to specific phases of the system of development and education of employees and specific methods of development and education. The last two chapters are targeted on a specific company. In the fourth chapter are the characteristics of the company OKTE, a.s. and the analysis of current situation of development and education of managers. The last chapter describes the specific proposal of development and education of managers which consists of four phases: identification of needs, planning, realization and evaluation.
The Development of Manager Personality

This dissertation is compounded from theoretical and practical part. The theoretical one is focused on analyses of chosen inner mechanisms of self-management. It takes closer look on those characteristic and aspects of human personality which take important part in the creation of the manager's personality. Thanks to this knowledge it is possible to make a conception about the way how single mechanisms participate in the development of individual personality. The core of the practical part is to apply obtained theoretical knowledge on the real environment of management faculty in Jindrichuv Hradec. The results from realized questionnaire research are interpreted with an aim to plot level of students' self-management in connection with personal development. Achieved findings are consequently used for formulation of suitable recommendations.

The target of this graduation thesis was to specify new views and requirements which effect on managers´ personalities´ formation and development in present HR management. For necessary information acquisition 6O managers completed a questionnaire which was about manager`s personality development. Managers and employees in monitored companies generally know (or subconsciously anticipate) how the superior HR management in nowaday trends should be proceeded and how it should look like. key-managers know about the need of superior personal work and the question is when this range becomes the same preference as economics or production
MOTIVATION AND STIMULATION OF EMPLOYEES AT CERTAIN COMPANY

A good motivation and stimulation system is necessary to induct employees in a specific way towards goals stated by the motivator. This final project deals about the company motivation and stimulation system. The goal {\"\i}s to find out some solutions how to better the system and use motivators more effective. I have chosen a questionnaire method for determining goals and the research has been carried out in the international retail selling company. After evalution of the answers I found out that the employees weren´t satisfied with the motivators used in the company. I suggested some ways how to better the situation in the company and make the emplyees satisfied.
