Street work with migrants

9 The main focus of the thesis is on the street work with migrants and the dilemma of help and control that arises in it. An integral part of this was the presentation of available literature dealing with this topic and its analysis. The theoretical part defines the target group, migrants in the Czech Republic and integration and migration policy in the Czech Republic. It also deals with street work, the legislative framework of street work, the personality of the street worker and the specifics of street work with migrants and also social work with migrants is described. Attention is paid to the dilemmas in social work, their origin with an emphasis on the help and control dilemma and ways of coping. The research part is devoted to the description of own qualitative research, which was carried out by the method of semi-structured interviews with street workers focusing on working with migrants by using the technique of critical incident. The main aim of the research was to find out in which cases the street workers encounter the dilemma of help and control and how to deal with it. Children's group as a tool for achieving work-life balance

The thesis discusses the problems of reconciling work and family life, focusing on the provision of services in a children's group under Act no. 247/2014 Coll. The theoretical part defines basic concepts relevant to work-life balance and briefly summarizes the options of preschool children care in the Czech Republic. The first part also elaborates the legal formalities of so called children's group. The practical part aims to assess the current situation of a specific children's group, reveals its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats and on their basis formulates recommendations for its future successful operation. When processing this paper, literature review, description, questionnaire, depth interview and a final analysis and synthesis of knowledge utilized for formulating future proposals are used.
Comparative analysis of (selected) managerial styles

This paper discusses selected managerial styles, their mutual comparison and applies the theories of management styles to several model situations in order to compare which particular style the theories recommend for different organizations. The first part deals with basic concepts relevant to management of employees and briefly describes selected theories of management styles. The second part aims at mutual comparison of the managerial styles according to three criteria (employee orientation, orientation to the task and the recommended management style according to individual theories). Furthermore, recommendations of the most appropriate style proposed by various theories for different model companies (factory, advertising agency, hospital) are compared. In developing this work, literature review, analysis and summarisation of findings and proposed solutions to model situations were used.
