Solid Edge - Design of Omnidirectional Mobile Robot Platform
Poul, Ota ; Šoustek, Petr (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design of three and four wheeled omnidirectional mobile robot platform. Design of both platforms is created in CAD software Solid Edge ST4. The result of this work are 3D models of mobile robot platforms for drawing documen-tation and subsequent realisation of platforms using predefined motor units. For both variants of the platform a stress simulation and visualisation were created within the possibilities of applied software.
Strength analysis of a chisel cultivator
Nejman, Jan ; Binar, Luboš (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
Introduction of final thesis deals with description of difficulties which face agricultural machines for soil processing in public traffic. It is followed by control calculations of tractor hitch and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. Second part contains brief description of exact machine type and its main components. Following part is concerned about security and legislative requirements for transportation of carried cultivators on roads. For more this part describes, experimental measurement and calculation of dynamic loads, which are further used as input for strength analysis. Fifth part describes preparation of numeric model, strengths analysis of original frame and following sixth part brings frame editing and results of strength analysis with additional minor changes.
Design of modification of the supporting structure of the press part of the paper machine
Zborník, Radek ; Zapletal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The thesis deals with a description and a strength analysis of selected parts of a modified supporting structure of a press part of a paper machine. The construction is designed to simplify a replacement of felt belts during a service shutdown of the machine. The first part of the thesis is devoted to a brief description of the paper machine with a more detailed focus on the press part. The next part of the thesis includes a project of adjustment to the original design of the supporting structure. The last part deals with a strength control of construction nodes of the adjusted project. A strength calculation is further divided into a calculation using the finite element method and an analytical calculation. Results of both previous calculation methods are compared at the end of the thesis.
Hydraulic pullers
Pavelka, Roman ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the mechanical proposal of hydraulic puller. Furthermore, it includes the detail design solutions. The project also includes the calculation of the hydraulic puller parameters: maximum pushing force is 60 kN, speed of movement is 0.1 m s-1. This work also contains of stress analysis FEM with I-DEAS software. Following part deals with the design of hydraulic circuit for driving puller. At the end of work there are options for replacements of hydraulic puller by mechanical systems.
Control stress analysis of LVS 511 gear
Macka, Jan ; Kubín, Martin (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with analysis of the gearbox housing of forwarder LVS 511. Theme is designed by Strojírna Novotný s.r.o. Objective of the work is to perform strain stress analysis of gear housing and main transmission shaft. The main part of the thesis is focused on creating of finite element model and evaluation in NX I-Deas software.
Design of the construction semi-trailer
Fejta, Josef ; Molva, Martin (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with a design of a tractor earthmoving tipper and a stress analysis of its bath body. The first part contains an overview of similar construction solutions and a summary of related legislative requirements. Next part is followed up by a description of the tipper and its load conditions. The main part is focused on a stress analysis itself. Achieved results are evaluated at the end of this thesis. A partial technical documentation is also part of this work. This thesis was created in cooperation with company ZDT Nové Veselí.
CFD geometry optimalisation of heat exchanger
Stromský, Ondřej ; Gottvald, Jakub (referee) ; Nekvasil, Richard (advisor)
The main task of thesis is to find optimum geometry of the heat exchanger. The biggest emphases is placed to finding the most optimum of streaming liquid in the heat exchanger and to minimisation pressure losses. There is a effort to regulate the streaming liquids in heat exchangers so that in multitube and on the shell side don´t create dead areas, it means to avoid sedimentation of particle in these places. Dead areas cause rising resistance against heat transfer and necessity of frequently cleaning the heat exchanger. For these reasons is necessary to do analyse of flowing and to looking for the optimal geometry of the heat exchanger.
Lower limb prosthetics FEM analysis
Omasta, Milan ; Náhlík, Luboš (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This masters´s thesis deals with computational modeling of transtibial lower-limb prosthesis. For assesment of loading character and geometrical configuration, the gait analysis of an amputee, including ground reaction force measurement, strain gauge analysis and motion analysis, was accomplished. Information on geometry was obtained using 3D optical scanning procedure. Material model was gathered using non-destructive mechanical testing and mimicked in a FEA software. For loading conditions the static structure analysys using FEM was accomplished. The critical poins in construction was found. Recognition of agreement about experimental and computational model was accomplished.
Design of the supporting frame of lift cage
Zapletal, Tomáš ; Komenda, Lukáš (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focusted in design of supporting frame of lift cage. Working load of frame is 1000 kg (13 people). Nominal speed is 2,5 m/s. First part is focusted in design of car frame. Car frame is made from steel bent profiles, connected each other with bolts. This work also contains final elemnt analysis of frame. Structure is analyzed by software Autodesk Inventor.
Frame of trailer CHTP18 for the platform-type body
Vincenc, Jakub ; Ješina, Miroslav (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The subject of this master’s thesis is strength analysis of trailer frame, for platform placed goods and palletized goods transport. Strength analysis is made by the finite element method. This thesis describes design of a frame, finite element model creation and results analysis. On the basis of this results, the structural modification with a stress state calculation are suggested.
