Truth and theatre
Mrázek, Jan ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Jirásková, Věra (referee)
The topic of this bachelor thesis Truth and Theatre is the study of the truth by connecting the concepts of the phenomenologist Jan Patočka and the theatre director and researcher Jerzy Grotowski. The objective of this thesis is to capture the factual connection between these two concepts. This work reveals how the topic of the truth tied with the ancient abstract meaning of aletheia - "unconcealedness" is being manifested in the theatre, how it is related to the themes of myth, ritual, situation, corporality, education and why is this understanding of truth inseparable from the action, self-awareness and the moral. The aim of this work is also to map the philosophical basis for the master's thesis, which will be created at the Department of Drama in Education on DAMU. KEYWORDS Jan Patočka, Jerzy Grotowski, Martin Heidegger, truth, aletheia, phenomenology, theatre, performer, action, knowledge, myth, dramatic education, care for the soul, paratheatre

The upper floors are reserved for students‘ accommodation. Each accommodation unit includes a bedroom, a small kitchen, a dressing room and sanitary facilities. The roomes are suited for one or two students. The entire underground floor is used to park cars and store bicycles. There are also technical rooms and a Boiler Room. For the convenience of residents, the building wis designed as a pass-through. There is a small park with leveling staircases located at the back yard. During the summer season, the lawn can be used as a recreation place for students or residents of the city. Cube Fighter

Real-time strategy games and action games are two very different types of computer games. In my project, I attempted to see whether they could be combined to make a coherent whole, with mixed results. The backbone of my game is its real-time strategy mode, inspired by Warcraft III and The Battle for Middle-earth 1 and 2. In this mode, the player can create buildings and units and use them to fight the enemy. The game also has another mode of playing which imitates action games. In it, the player only controls a single unit. The second mode ended up being just a fun add-on instead of an essential part of the gameplay as I had originally intended. The reason behind that wasn't that it would be impossible to make it so, but rather that it would require my game to be far more complex.

Types of civil actions in the civil process
Rosa, Adam ; Winterová, Alena (advisor) ; Smolík, Petr (referee)
Types of civil actions in the civil process This graduation paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes an action as such. It covers most aspects of an action such as the elements of an action, defects, consequences of filing an action and possible dispositions. An analysis of these aspects should enhance the reader's orientation in the legal terms and help to understand the context and relations between individual types of actions in the following chapters. More focus was put on the prayer for relief as a key element used to categorise individual types of action. The section "Prayer for relief and its types" provides several examples that could help clarify the issue of their categorisation to the non-professional public. The second chapter describes the modern history of the types of actions and the development of procedural legislation. It also contains a reference to the new drafted rules of judicial procedure as a considered replacement of the current Rules of Civil Procedure. The third chapter provides a categorisation of actions and their individual types. Major focus is devoted to the highly discussed declaratory action, plea of res judicata, and the binding nature of the court's justification. Each analysed type of action contains at least one practical and informal...
Intrapsychic conflicts and their experiencing during the regulation of activity and behavior
Ondrejková, Marta ; Stehlík, Luděk (advisor) ; Novák, Ondřej (referee)
This bachelor thesis examines internal conflicts and their effect on inner experience and behaviour. The theoretical part of the thesis involves the description of the basic characteristics of conflict based on their content and categorisation; emotional, cognitive and behavioural components that contribute towards the creation of conflict; the dynamics of conflict and the possibilities of the regulation of the resulting tension. The goals of our work are to depict the impact of the internal conflict on the human mind and to identify the various approaches to conflict resolution. We have suggested dividing the intervention techniques into two main categories -direct and indirect techniques. In the empirical part of the thesis, we compare the effectiveness of such techniques in a form of an experiment. The participants are divided into the experimental groups according to the intervention technique applied. The measurements before and after the intervention will be evaluated with regards to the extension and severity of the internal conflict. Key words: Internal conflict - emotions - cognitive processes - behaviour - emotion regulation
The Aspect in Czech and the Possibilities of Its Expression in German Language
DOLEŽALOVÁ, Kateřina
This bachelor thesis deals with a research of morpho-syntactic category named verbal aspect. In contrast with Czech verb, German verb desiderates this category, so perfective and imperfective aspects must be expressed in different ways. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on identification of these ways while using specialised literature. The practical part of the thesis verifies if a category of verbal aspect does not really exist and is impossible to be expressed or if this category is not only grammaticalised. This verification is based on analysis of facts in parallel corpus Intercorp from Czech language to German language. The analysis of the corpus named DereKo only verifies chosen ways of expression of verbal aspect in German language.
Aerodynamic design of the last stage of a steam turbine
Jeřábek, Lukáš ; Fiedler, Jan (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with calculations of a steam turbine with two uncontrolled extraction points according to the assignment, aerodynamics of the last two stages and operating range with respect to ventilation, range of performance and straining of the last blading under the large condensation pressure deviations. For the first three stages the calculation of prismatic action blades is executed. The fourth and the fifth stages are designed with inconstant reaction over the blades length and their calculation is executed with constant circulation method. For these stages, aerofoil design with respect to their aerodynamic qualities is carried out using Bézier curves. During the whole time verification process of aerofoils qualities, their energy losses and isoentropic Mach number distribution is executed in MISES program in cooperation with Doosan Škoda Power.
