Applying of personality traits of headteacher in area of leadership

Final thesis describes to what extent the current school practice puts attention to personality qualities of headteacher in area of leadership. The topic is based on the experience, knowledge and abilities that use the present headmasters of elementary schools in practice. The aim of the work and selected combined investigation using methods of "shadowing" of structured and unstructured interviews and a questionnaire survey was to describe the extent to which personal qualities headteacher of elementary schools appear in contemporary educational practice in area of leadership. In the theoretical part, the author focused on gathering information from a wide resource that can provide a wider range of these areas (psychology, leadership, self-management, self-esteem, etc.). These were mainly the vocational literature on leadership, human personality and competencies. An important contribution was a personal meeting and interview with Mr. Prof. PhDr. Z. Helusem, DrSc. (interview captured in the theoretical part), which anchored the personal qualities mentioned as one of the prerequisites for a successful life and being a human in personal and professional life. Utilization of personnel management in volunteering

Utilization of personnel management in volunteering The diploma theses deals with a comparison of methods of personnel management in business and volunteering and answers the question of whether coordinators of volunteers utilize knowledge of personnel management in their work or whether they choose different strategies. Four theoretical chapters introduce the necessary information to understand the practical part. The first chapter anchors the area of volunteering by stating the basic concepts. The text continues to analyze the law on volunteering in more detail and thus provides insight into legislation in the area of volunteering. The description of volunteer centres and their function in the work with volunteers gives basic picture of this topic, before moving on to the main chapter, which discusses the different elements of human resource management and highlights the common and different approaches when working with staff and volunteers, as described in the literature. The empirical part then captures the methodology of the survey, its analysis and the conclusions which could be drawn on the ground of a limited number of realized interviews. Personal management of Junák

This diploma thesis investigates the human resource management in Junak. It focuses on the basic organisational units in Junak. The topic of the diploma thesis follows the personal areas from Strategy 2022, which contains visions that are supposed to be fullfilled by 2022. The aim of this study is to monitor the practice of human resource management in organisational units with good people management. The theoretical part involves explanations of human resource management fundamental terms and engages in relevant subjects which are related. The empirical part is divided into two areas. The first one introduces the Scout movement in general, the Scout organisation in Great Britain and the organisation Junak and its strategy. It describes the organisational structures and focuses on the department of human resource management and support for volunteers. The second area is the research itself. Sixty Scout units were chosen for the study. I addressed 18 leaders of units according to some qualitative indicators and special recommendations, 14 interviews took place. Interviews focused on the practical experience, inspiration, personal attitudes and opinions of the leaders or their deputies. The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of personnel work in education, specifically in kindergarten. The aim of the work is the analysis and evaluation of the activities of the kindergarten principal in the field of personnel management with a focus on personnel procedures, the acquisition, selection and development of employees. Its content is an analysis of this issue based on theoretical background, questionnaires and interviews. The first part of the bachelor's thesis brings a theoretical framework of the issue, the examined role of the manager, management and leadership, decision-making and communication. Practical part focuses on the process of personnel management in a private kindergarten. The results of the survey examine in detail the current issues of personnel management from the perspective of the principals of private kindergartens and recommendations for their practice are proposed. The bachelor thesis is focused on corporate culture in construction companies, specifically on the motivation of its employees. The theoretical part contains basic terms and their definitions. The practical part is realized by a questionnaire survey and interviews. In the final chapter is an evaluation of the results of the survey and subsequent recommendations for the proper motivation of employees in the construction company and thus improving corporate culture.
Performance management

The diploma thesis is focused on the planning of personal development of employees in the context of the process of performance management in the organization. Attention is paid to the role and function of personal development planning in achieving the set goals in the process of performance management. The theoretical part defines concepts of performance management, education and development and personal development planning and describes theories of these concepts. The analytical part, based on a study of internal documents and interviews with managers, describes how the work performance of employees in Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank is managed. The result of this research was identification of weaknesses in the application of the concept of work performance management in the organization. Finally, recommendations are proposed in order to streamline the mentioned processes in the organization. This diploma thesis deals with HR marketing in IT companies in the online environment and on social networks. The aim of the thesis is to propose marketing recommendations for recruitment policy on social networks and online portals for companies in the field of information technologies in Brno. Qualitative research is conducted throughout in-depth interviews with candidates, staff, and interview with employers. On the basis of obtained primary and secondary data obtained, recommendations for the recruitment of entities moving on this market have been proposed.

The aim of this thesis was to analyse the activities of a particular firm according to its implementation of diversity management. This also includes the assessment of the achievement of objectives and implementation of the strategy of this company in the field of diversity. Principles of the concept of diversity management were defined and the selected firm was characterized – Česká pojišťovna, a.s. The empirical part of the thesis focused on the analysis of opinions and perceptions of employees and management. The results suggest that Česká pojišťovna is successfully implementing the concept of diversity management. The critical responses from employees can be effectively solved and then improve the level of implementation.
The assurance of personal stability in accompanying organizations (in non-profit substitute family care organizations)

Substitute family care is a frequently mentioned topic in the Czech Republic, especially in connection with the high number of children placed in institutional facilities. Foster care, as a one of the forms of substitute family care, was registered within the amendment to the Act on Social and Legal Protection of Children No. 359/1999 Coll. It was in January 2013 and a new concept of support and definition of foster parents' rights and obligations was defined. One of these obligations is to conclude a foster care agreement either with the municipal authority of the municipality with extended powers or with a non-governmental non-profit organization which is entrusted with the exercise of social and legal protection of children and with foster care agreements. This diploma thesis focuses on the personnel activities of non-governmental non-profit organizations that accompany foster families and on the key accompanying workers themselves as well. The theoretical part defines an area of social and legal protection of children, the system of substitute family care, the activities of non-governmental non-profit organizations and personnel processes in the organization.
