The characteristics of the triathlete participating in the series Championship of the Czech Republic in triatlonu and Czech Cup Age groups in the triathlon
Kubáčová, Jana ; Kovářová, Lenka (advisor) ; Horčic, Josef (referee)
Title: The characteristics of the triathlete participating in series Championship of the Czech Republic in triathlon and Czech Cup Age groups in the triathlon Objectives: The aim of this work is to characterize a triathlete participating two highest competitions in the Czech Republic in triathlon on the basis of chosen determinants of sport performance. Methods: In our thesis we used a made survey on the basis of former literature analysis. For data processing regarding answers on the survey it was used a statistical program SPSS PASW Statistics 18. The thesis was process by relevant tasks, i.e. relevant literature research, survey making on the basis of found areas in the theoretical part, distributing of the survey, data processing of the received answers and final processing of the received data. Research file was created by triathletes participating in series Championship of the Czech Republic in triathlon and Czech Cup Age groups in the triathlon which are stated in global results of these two competitions. Results: The results of the thesis confirmed conclusions of theoretical part whereas on chosen determinants outside factors of sport performance which were used for data gaining. Keywords: questionnaire, running, cycling, sports performance factors, swimming
The effect of running a load on postural stability
Kellner, Petr ; Vágner, Michal (advisor) ; Majerčík, Petr (referee)
1 Abstract Title: The effect of running with a load on postural stability. Objectives: The establishment of changes in postural stability after a 3 km maximum effort run with a 15 kg load. Research sample: The tested subject group was constitued by seven soldiers of the Army of The Czech Republic at the average age of 25,6 ± 2,1 years who are students of the Military specialization at the Faculty of sport and physical education of The Charles University. Methods: This master's thesis was drawn up as a observational study of theoretic empiric character, realised through intraindividual comparative analysis on a group of 7 subjects. Postural stability was examined with RS Footscan forceplate and clinical balance test U.S. Military Academy Stance Test. The run was realised on a treadmill, without and with a load. For statistical analysis nonparametric statistic tests of significance were used. Results: The results of relations between postural control changes and 3km run with a load of 15 kg display a deterioration of postural stability tested after the run. The extend of deterioration of postural stability after 3-km run with a load within tested group is similar to one after 3-km run of analogous intensity. Key words: run, load, postural stability, balance
Evaluation of running by children young school age
Skoumal, Jaroslav ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Segeťová, Jarmila (referee)
Title: Evaluation of running by children young school age Objectives: The thesis aims to determine the level of running locomotion and the educational evaluation of techniques of running by children young school age on the basis of predetermined certain criteria. The results of the thesis were compared with the study of Pojezdalová (1995). Methods: Considering the thesis character I used the standard educational methods of evaluations to affect the individual differences in technique of running deliberately chosen files that consisted of children of third and fourth grade elementary school. I took a video of the running of selected group of children on a quick stretch by digital camera. I was processing a qualitative analysis of the technique of running on the computer by Dartfish software, whereas I used a digitizing of movement, which this program enables. I diagnosed the individual differences in the implementation of chosen skills and by description I pointed out the greatest and the most frequent faults in the technique of running in the monitored children young school age. I wrote the results of evaluation to the pre-created categories and I described the frequency of the individual monitored effects in the result part by basic statistical process. Results: The most frequent fault in the...
Dependence of performance in selected athletic disciplines students in second level primary schools
Vopršálek, Radek ; Kašpar, Ladislav (advisor) ; Svobodová, Irena (referee)
NAME: Determine the dependence of performance in selected athletic disciplines students in primary schools AUTHOR: Radek Vopršálek DEPARTMENT: Katedra tělesné výchovy SUPERVISOR: PhDr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The aim of this thesis is to explore the relationship and dependency between performances in chosen sports disciplines for pupils of primary school. The disciplines I have chosen to determine the relative performance are: long jump and 60 meters sprint. In the theoretical part there is a description and analysis of these sports disciplines. In the practical part there is a measurement of pupils' performances in that two sports disciplines and creating a dependency relationship between them. KEYWORDS: Long jump, Bounce, Run, Relationship.
Models and statistical analysis of record processes
Tůmová, Alena ; Volf, Petr (advisor) ; Hlubinka, Daniel (referee)
In this work we model the historical development of best performances in men's 100, 200, 400 and 800m running events. We suppose that the years best performances are independent random variables with generalized extreme value distribution for minima and that there is a decreasing trend in location. Parameters of the models are estimated by using maximum likelihood techniques. The data of years best performances are missing for some years, we treat them as right censored data that are censored by value of world record valid at that time. Graphic tools used for models diagnostics are adjusted to the censoring. The models we get are used to estimate the ultimate records and to predict new records in next years. At the end of the work we estimate several models describing historical development of years best performances for more events at one time.
Comparison of winter prepare rowers and lightweight rowers
Imlauf, Jan ; Kašpar, Ladislav (advisor) ; Engelthalerová, Zdeňka (referee)
Main topic in this bachelor thesis is comparison of rowing training rowers and lightweight rowers during winter preparation. At the beginnig is briefly mentioned history of world rowing, history of czech rowing and personalities and achievements of the Czech republic. Other chapters deal with winter preparation of both weight categories. There are mentioned resources used in the winter preparation and main differences in their use of the different categories. Specifics of training in different categories and their comparison and identification of major differences in training in winter preparation. Key words Rower, rowing, trainer, gym, run, lightweight, strenght, endurance
Comparison of maximum heart Rate while running, on a bycikle ergometer and swimming.
Májková, Tereza ; Radvanský, Jiří (advisor) ; Slabý, Kryštof (referee)
Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on a heart rate, especially its parameters, measurement methods and regulation. Moreover describes maximal heart rate issue. Practical part was performed as an experimental measurement of maximal heart rate level of 40 healthy adult probands (20 men and 20 women) between the ages of twenty and forty. Maximal heart rate was measured by telemetry meter FT4 Polar ® in 3 types of exercise tests - running, ergometer cycling and swimming. Results were statistically processed. Study confirmed significant differences in maximal heart rate during running, ergometer cycling and swimming. Highest heart rate was reached while running for 95% of measured volunteers and the lowest heart rate was reached during swimming for 98% of probands. The objective of this thesis was a comparison of reached heart rates during different exercise tests and highlight the evidence of dissimilar maximal heart rate during different exercises.
