The impact of storm electricity on air transport

The bachelor thesis aims to clarify the issue of storm electricity as the side effect of cumulonimbus. It describes formation, types, structure, and phases of storm clouds, as well as formation of electric discharge and rare electrometeors. Furthermore, it is focused on the ways of forecast and lightning localisation and their effects on air transport, along with given regulations during flight in storms.

75 Resume in English Name of the thesis: Rights of passengers in air transport The thesis deals with the legal regulation regarding the rights of the passenger in air transport, including the general regulation of the concluded contract of carriage and the practical possibilities of a passengers to apply their rights in specific situations. In addition to the legal regulation, a significant part of this work represents the judicature not only of Czech courts, but also of the Court of Justice of the European Union, and to a lesser extent, of German courts. In terms of the thesis, the legal regulation is analyzed and identified (in the rage of contract of carriage also comparised with the German legal order), and its problematic aspects are determined and de lege ferenda are presented possibilities for their solution. The main aim of the thesis is to elaborate the current practical and theoretical themes of "transport law" with emphasis on the person's air transport and then to analyze and systematically include concrete rights of a passenger in individual contexts. This diploma thesis on Transport conditions of airline companies and responsibility of freight companies in case of breaching these conditions in accordance with EU law restrictions deals with the issue of air law. The aim of the thesis was to provide a comprehensive overview of consumer protection in the legal regulation of air transport, taking into account the relevant case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter provides general information on air traffic, its history, sources and principles of air law. The second chapter deals with passengers as air transport subjects in terms of their rights and obligations. With regard to the objectives of this work, the relevant national, European and international legislation is mentioned here. The final chapter is dedicated to the relevant case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union, in particular to the four selected cases dealt with by the Court of Justice in the preliminary ruling procedure.
Impact of low-cost airlines on air transport market

The master thesis analyses the impact of low-cost carriers on development of both primary and secondary airports. The analysis of selected airports in Italy, Germany, Norway and Sweden and following comparison between the development across the regions are the used methods. The thesis examines the historical development, liberalization of the market, formation of low-cost carriers and their impact on the development of secondary airports and airports themselves. The analysis of primary and secondary airports in three geographically different regions allows a comparison of the development between both airports groups and the identification of the impact of low-cost airlines on different regions of Europe.
Analýza nízkonákladové letecké dopravy

The thesis deals with low cost air transport. In general terms, it is divided into both theoretical and empiric part. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. The first chapter outlines transport in tourism in general. The second one describes air transport and the third one focuses on the low cost air transport. The empiric part, as in the end of the third chapter, opens up with an overview of the low cost carriers who use GDS. The fourth chapter focuses on the low cost carriers in all of the world regions and analyzes them based on the amount of destinations, revenues, amount of transported passengers and market value. The fifth chapter describes low cost carriers which offer long-haul flights. The final chapter compares low cost airlines with full service airlines using market value and amount of transported passengers.
Comparing the possibilities of passenger transport on the route Prague – Vienna

This bachelor thesis aims to compare the possibilities of passenger transport on the Prague - Vienna route. The introductory theoretical part explains basic informations and terms related to transportation. In the second part, different types of transportation are individually described with their advantages and disadvantages being pointed out. The third section contains a list of actual options of the transport between Czech metropolis and Austrian metropolis while also providing basic description of each transport company that offers their services on the route in question. The final part summarizes and compares the travel links in terms of total costs and concludes with the optimal option available. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the possibilities of public transport between Prague and Vienna.
Analysis of mass media communication on air transport market

Bachelor thesis in the theoretical part describes mass media communication and individual types of mass media, with the most focus on television advertising, which is key in this work. There is also defined marketing communication services, air market and airlines whose data are described in the practical part. In the practical part are processed data for 2010-2016. The work focuses on time series analysis, describes the development of ad timing within ad layout during individual years and within daytime layouts, and attempts to capture the evolution of ad slot length.
Comparison of Prague Airport and Vienna Airport

The Bachelors Thesis deals with air transport. The theoretical part focuses on the aviation history and the overall development of this mode of transport. There are also mentioned international organizations that operate in aviation. It is followed by a reference to the impact on health or the environment and their solutions. Next part, of the Bachelors Thesis, is security. Also other modes of transport are mentioned in this part. Mainly road and rail transport. Practical part is focused on comparison of Vaclav Havel airport in Prague and Vienna International Airport. In this part I deal with the history, general knowledge, size and number of checked-in passengers for individual years since 1999. In addition, I compare the services offered by the airport, airport transfers and prices of tickets to selected destinations. In conclusion, I speak about the overall assessment of selected parameters and an indication of which airport seems to be advantageous in terms of time and money.

The bachelor thesis deal with the development of air transport. From the first takeoff, over the both of the World War, to the uncontrollable situation in the airspace. Due to this situation was introduced air traffic control system.The aim of the thesis is to provide as much information as possible about the development of air traffic control system from the beginning to the present.It should also contribute to broadening the knowledge of air traffic control, whether in the economic or operational field. Give us a picture of how the State Enterprise of Air Traffic Control of the Czech Republic is currently operating, how its financial situation is developing, what are its priorities, plans and goals to the future and, last but not least, of human resources that are still an irreplaceable part of the whole area Air Traffic Control.
