Outdoor Sport Courses for the 2nd Grade of Basic Schools in Liberec Region

This thesis describes Outdoor Sports Courses for the 2nd Grade of Basic Schools in Liberec Region. The theoretical part discusses the close topics such as activities and education at elementary schools or summer and winter outdoor sports courses. The goal of the thesis is to obtain information about outdoor sports courses for the 2nd Grade of chosen basic schools in Liberec Region, and to recommend instructions for the optimal course education. Two methods of interrogation were applied: a controlled interview with school principals and questionnaire for students in 9th grade of elementary schools. Based on the above-mentioned interrogation methods, the diversity of sports courses in nature was investigated. In addition, the issue of the course capacity or material issues and staffing at schools were investigated. The research also concentrates on the participation of students in the courses and the reasons of their non-participation as well as students' satisfaction with the selection of available courses. Based on the students' responses, the ranking of the most popular courses was created. Changes in attitudes to physical education for pupils fifth and sixth year of school involvement in outdoor activities in the hours of physical education

Tittle: The attitude changes of 5th and 6th grade pupils of primary school towards the physical education while involving outdoor activities during the physical education classes. Aim: The aim of the thesis is to find out if there is a possibility to change the pupil attitude towards the physical education at the primary school while involving the outdoor activities. Methods: All the data have been gained by the non-standardized questionnaire made for this purpose. It contains closed, opened and semi-closed questions. The questionnaire has been targeted at pupils of 5th and 6th grades of the primary school. Moreover the interviews have been taken to evaluate the classes. The data have been analyzed and evaluated in graphical and written form. Outcomes: The gained results have been compared with the assumptions formed before. The results show that part of the girl's experimental group reached the change in terms of the negative intensification. On the contrary in case of the boy's groups it came to the change in terms of the positive intensification of the attitude to physical education classes. Influence of outdoor activities on interpersonal relationships in a peer group from institutional care

Title: Influence of outdoor activities on interpersonal relationships in a peer group in the environment ofinstitutional care. Aim of the thesis: The aim of this work is to find out whether outdoor activities have an effect on relationships in the group of the youth who live in the conditions of institutional care. Research methodology: We have used the Sociometric questionnaire B3-U. In the experimental group there are 11 adolescents from the orphanege in Jablonec nad Nisou. In the control group there are 10 children and adolescents from the orphanege in Semily. Children's age ranged from 8 to 15. Results and conclusions: The results of the research showed that the most excluded person in the group found new relationship in the group. Results regarding the most exluded people in the group were very positive. After our intervention the least favorite person recieved about half less of the negative voices. In the group hierarchy the distance among members of the group grew smaller. Only results of feelings friendship and confidence in the group were after the intervention lower. The interest in outdoor activities of students from selected primary schools in Kladno district, by gender and residence

Title: The interest in outdoor activities of students from selected primary schools in Kladno district, by gender and residence Objectives: To find out which outdoor activities students from selected primary schools in Kladno district are interested in, specifically which outdoor activities they do and which they would like to learn. Furthermore, to find out what experience with outdoor activities students have and to compare results by gender and place of residence. Method: The research has been performed by quantitative method. To support gathering and collecting necessary inputs specific questionnaire was compiled for students of the 9th grade of primary schools. The research sample consisted of 204 respondents. Gathered inputs have been graphically processed and evaluated. Results: Primary schools offer to teach their students outdoor activities more during sports courses, school in nature and school trips than in physical education classes. Most of these students have experience with outdoor activities from school events, mainly with hiking, alpine skiing and motion games in the natural environment. Title: Teaching of outdoor activities at primary schools in Kladno from the view of headmasters and PE teachers Objectives: To find out how the teaching of outdoor activities takes place at primary schools in Kladno, respectively which outdoor activities are offered to students and what form of teaching is realized. Method: Research of this work was carried out by quantitative method. To obtain the necessary information there has been prepared two types of questionnaires, the questionnaire for headmasters of primary schools and a questionnaire for teachers of physical education at the 2nd grade of primary schools. The research sample consisted of 11 headmasters and 23 teachers. Results: According to the results the teaching of outdoor activities at primary schools in Kladno takes place in two forms, courses of teaching activities in nature are predominant form. From the courses of outdoor activities (skiing, snowboarding, hiking, cycling, canoeing, adventure) are in most schools implemented mainly ski courses. Another form of teaching is the inclusion of some physical activities in physical education classes. Title: Students' experience with outdoor activities in selected secondary schools in Most district. Aim: The aim of my master thesis was to survey and discover students' experience with outdoor acitivities and their possible interest in these acitivities at selected high schools in Most district. Method: All needed data were collected by questionnaires. Questionnaires were delivered to selected high schools in the Most district. From the questionnaires we were able to determine if students had experience with outdoor activities and which activities they want to try. Obtained data were statistically processed in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and interpreted in graphical and word form. Results: We have found that students generally have a high interest in outdoor activities. The activity which students are most interested in is paintball. Students at school recieve experience with outdoor activities especially in courses, especially in traditional activities, such as various types of turistika, skiing and camping. After previous experience students want to repeat cycling, camping and downhill skiing. Method: We used a retrieval method of internet and literature sources of study programmes at certain universities and we have composed and sumarized a survey, which had been sent to students of researched schools. Title: The use of teambuilding elements in the form of outdoor activities in the pre-season period in ice hockey as selected sport game Aim: The aim of the research was to determine the current status of teambuilding in the use of training in ice hockey as selected sport game. Method: All data were obtained using a questionnaire survey, which included open questions. Surveys were conducted with ice hockey coaches and recorded on audio. By analyzing the audio recording was obtained and the necessary data into conclusions. Results: Teambuilding through outdoor activities in sports games is classified to a lesser extent than would suit the coaches. Title: Outdoor activities in institutional care Aim of the thesis: The aim of this work is to chart oudoor activites in institutional care in Liberec region. As well as to determine the types of outdoor activites and the time spent by doing these activities in nature. Methodology of research: I used the questionnaire method for this reasearch. Respondents were given questionnaires with open and closed questions concerning the topic. The data were processed quantitatively and were set out into pie charts. Results: In the questionnaire, I found out that educators believe that outdoor activities are suitable for children from institutional care. They are not only a good tool for making new contacts, but especially as a tool for increasing children's responsibility and self-knowledge. Most of the outdoor activities are used in the form of games or walks in nature. Activities that are least accessible are climbing and swimming. Top children's activity is playing on the computer and walks with friends. Playing games and collecting wild fruits are the most enjoyable outdoor activities for children. Outdoor activities bring mainly joy, fun and new experience to children. They think that they will get to know better their friends and strengthen the confidence among them during outdoor activities.
