Corporate Social Responsibility in the medium-sized enterprises and the role of personal management

The work is devoted mainly to differences in the concept of social responsibility small, medium and large enterprises in the Czech Republic. Today is in our country still not too well-known social responsibility theme mainly among small firms. This is perhaps the fact that small companies problems do not know, or feel that they are not concerned, or such investment comes unnecessary and, if appropriate, or do not know how to get started. this is the reason why I decided to devote a thesis of corporate social responsibility. Influence of personal management is to show that social responsibility is not only a marketing tool to improve the image of the company.
Analysis of subsidy of small and middle enterprises in Prague in practical application

This diploma thesis consists of two main parts. In first, theoretical part, are described types of subsidies, their importance, legislative framework and systems of subsidies. In practical part the Operatinal programe is valuated based on analysis of enterpreneur environment. Operational programmes Industry and enterpreneurship and Enterpreneurship and inovation are also described in this part. Also process of application for subsidy is included.
Analyses of potential of Software as a Service model in small and medium enterprises

This paper analyses potential of Software as a Service (SaaS) model in small and medium enterprises (SME). SaaS model is rapidly expanding trend between software delivery models. The first chapter describes evolution of software delivery models, which peaks in the most recent "Software as a Service" model. It analyses key features of SaaS in qualitative, technological and legal dimensions. The first chapter also mentions assesment methods for IT investments. This chapter introduces basic theoretical framework for next chapters. Next chapter focuses on category of small and medium enterprises. It defines main macroeconomic indicators and organizational specifics of SMEs. This chapter also presents results of research into reasons for and against the use of applications with SaaS model in small and medium enterprises. Last chapter selects the most common software categories used by small and medium enterprises. For each category it analyses and describes current state of the SaaS market. After analysing the market situation, it selects broad range of applications for each category. Using multi-dimensional approach it recommends three products best suited for SMEs. For all categories it maps potential of the three recommended products. These three products are then thoroughly compared with each other using extended set of criteria. The chapter ends with a summary of possibilities offered by these applications to SMEs.
The comparison of small and medium-sized enterprises in Czech Republic and France

This bachelor thesis is divided into two sections. The theoretical section describes the situation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Czech Republic and in France, their social and economic contribution, legal forms of business as well as the tax burden and the entrepreneurial environment in those economies in question. The second section deals with the practical application of theoretical knowledge to the enterprise VINICOLA Ltd which business activity is based on the import of attributive wines. After evaluation of all compared aspects, the proposition of possible strategy to strengthen the position on the market is presented.
Factors affecting the prosperity of a private dental office

The goal of the present thesis is to explore the activity and assess the situation of a private dental office and to propose measures to improve its prosperity. The results of the said analysis and proposals may be utilised by either the current practitioner-entrepreneur or her daughter, a fresh practitioner. It is a partial goal to identify the key specifics of dental practitioner entreprising. In the theoretical part, I focus my attention to the specifics of small and medium businesses and characterise the individual aspects of management, marketing, personal management, and financial management. In the practical part, I apply the gathered theoretical findings in identifying the factors affecting the prosperity of a private dental office and laying down proposals to maintain the current situation and improving it in the future. Some of the proposed measures have already been applied in practice in the course of completion of this diploma thesis.
Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Czech Republic

This Master thesis focuses mainly on the efficiency of supporting small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic. Small and medium business promotion creates one of the main targets of the European Union policy. A lot of research has been conducted in the area of business support. This thesis will subsequently analyze practical aspects of the promotion and it captures both programme periods by the year 2013. Very interesting and to certain extent crucial for this work are changes in Union allowance of smaller firms. The aim of the study is to suggest possible measures and recommendations in the area of economic policy and business promotion system that could help solve the current situation.
Evaluation of the effectiveness of program supporting small and medium-sized enterprises with the emphasis on the labour market

The main objective of my diploma thesis is to reach the significance of small and medium-sized enterprises and make a statistical analysis of the specific program supporting small and medium-sized enterprises provided by the Czech Moravian Guarantee Bank with the emphasis on the labour market. The analysis indicated that small and medium-sized enterprises are significant players not only in the Czech economy, but also in other states in the world. Small and medium-sized enterprises make 99,23% of the whole business sector in the Czech Republic. They dominate in sectors such as trade, services, fishing, manufacturing and other labour-intensive industries. No less important role small and medium-sized enterprises play in providing jobs, for 59,9% of work force employed in the Czech Republic. Most of empirical studies claim that small and medium-sized enterprises are significant in job creation as well as in job destruction. The certain of jobs in small and medium-sized enterprises are really poor in comparison with the large companies. There are lots of supportive programmes for small and medium-sized enterprises which are concentrated on regional level as well as blanket character. Evaluation of the program supporting small and medium-sized enterprises provided by the Czech Moravian Guarantee Bank confirmed their significance role in job creation and also indicated their small part in job destruction.

Práce pojednává o národních programech pro podporu podnikání ve Velké Británii v současnosti, tj. k roku 2006. Zpracované programy po podporu se zaměřují na malé a střední podniky. Práce seznamuje čtenáře s obecnými statistickými údaji o malých a středních podnicích ve Velké Británii, dále pak se základním systémem podpory. Detailněji pojednává o vzdělávacích a motivačních programech, programu Business Link a o finančních nástrojích podpory.

Tyto projekty budou sloužit vlastníkům jako podklady pro rozhodování při tvorbě plánu na rok 2008. První část práce je věnována obecným informacím o podnikání v cestovním ruchu a metodám marketingových analýz. Druhá část práce se věnuje popisu společnosti, SWOT analýze samotné a návrhu projektů.
CA Rapotour: Analysis of current situation and opportunities of further progress
