Family Enterprising in a Chosen Region

This thesis focus on the theoretical aspects of family enterprising and running a family business in the Czech Republic. The first part deals with the history of family enterprising and the importance of family businesses in the economy and society. This part also describes the specificity of family firms, advantages and diadvantages and common problems in family-owned business. The theoretical part of the thesis also analyse the stability of the family firms in recession and the challenges of a family business in Czech Republic. The second part of the thesis contains four czech family firms' case studies.
Strategic Analysis of Jihlava Radio

Annotation The diploma thesis deals with the strategic analysis of Radio Jihlava. The aim of the thesis was to find out the contemporary situation of the firm and to suggest another strategy to it, which would be more successful in the competitors fight. The theoretical part is concentrated on explication of basic concepts from the strategic management field, explication of the concepts of strategy and strategic management, description of strategic analysis methods. This part is essential for elaboration of the practical part referring to the explained concepts and analyses. The described analyses are solved in the practical part. The analyses results should be the basic for a change or creation of a new company strategy. The conclusion of the diploma thesis generally evaluates the cotemporary company strategy and suggests a strategy change.
Company and its environment analysis, business strategy design

This diploma thesis is focused on a strategic management activity in companies. In the theoretical part of the thesis there are strategic management process analysis, settings of strategic management principles and description of phases forming the whole process as well. Moreover analysis methods are specified that are used to obtain relevant information supporting each step of strategy design process. The selected strategy design concept is compared with other alternative management methodology. The main contribution of the thesis is in methodology area of elaboration of strategy and application of analytic tools to a real operating enterprise. The aim is to determine an enterprise itself at the market, performing of analysis to gain information for elaborating of the set of strategies. One of these strategies is further elaborated to the level of possible measured and monitored objectives. This summary of information forms the fundamental for possible implementation of company strategy. The thesis does not aspire to provide general manual for solving strategic management of a company. It's as much irrelevant as elaborating the strategy at the level of particular activities. The main purpose is to point out a complexity of problems of a strategic management, to provide basic information and refer to sources with more thorough interpretation and to present a practical illustration of the whole process. The result of this process might be used as a primary information source for elaborating of company's own strategy.
Strategic analysis of Drevis company

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to prepare a strategic analysis of Drevis company and pursuant to the results of this analysis formulate recommendations that will help company to operate more effectively and improve its position in the competitors fight. In the first part is the strategic analysis described from a theoretical point of view. The practical part of the Bachelor thesis first deals with the external analysis, where is used PEST analysis and Porter's five forces model. Further the Bachelor thesis deals with internal analysis which includes the identification and analysis of company resources and also analysis of company skills, where is used the value chain. Pursuant to the results of external analysis and internal analysis SWOT analysis is made and recommendations are formulated.

Destination management is nowadays one of the main trends in tourism. Final thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is focused on destination management and strategic management of tourism in destination. Practical part contains analysis and evaluation of Tourism Development Strategy in Zilina selfgoverning region. It is dedicated to analysis of current situation in tourism of Zilina region and to its Tourism Development Strategy. Last chapter includes the evaluation of tourism and development potential in region of Zilina and the Tourism Develompent Strategy of Zilina selfgoverning region in period of 2007-2013 as well.

The goal is to elaborate a strategic analysis of the company Netsimple Conspiracy s.r.o. and formulation of the strategic recommendations. This is accomplished through the identification of strengths and weaknesses of the company and the opportunities and threats arising from its surroundings. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on theories of strategic management, business strategy and strategic analysis in general. The practical part of the thesis examines the application of methods of strategic analysis at Netsimple Conspiracy Company s.r.o., which output is the formulation of strategic actions. The conclusion summarizes all the outputs of the strategic analysis of Netsimple Conspiracy s.r.o., but also thesis as a whole.

The thesis is focused on strategic planning and management system Balanced Scorecard and its application in spa Léčebné Lázně Bohdaneč. In theoretical part is introduced the theoretical basis for application of this method including the basics for strategic analysis. The practical part is devoted to strategic analysis at the beginning. SWOT analysis identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the company and potential opportunities and threats. Thereafter the strategy of the company is defined, follows determination of strategic goals in four perspectives (financial, customer, internal and innovation and learning perspective), choice of key performance indicators and strategic actions. In the final of the thesis is created strategic map, that is key tool of strategic management based on Balanced Scorecard method.
Strategy of an Enterprise

The subject of this thesis is to process a future development strategy of a specific firm based on its strategy analysis. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part, where the theoretical part describes methods and procedures, which are subsequently used in the practical part. The practical part then analyses external and internal environment of the company, based on which SWOT analysis is created. A proposal of the firm's future development is put together from the obtained data, which also corresponds with the mission and vision of the company, and is described further in more detail within the functional strategies of the individual strategy business units. At the end, the chosen strategy is evaluated from the perspective of suitability, acceptability and viability.

The importance of corporate culture for strategic management of midsize enterprises

The thesis focuses on the current corporate culture in selected enterprises. It concerns two midsize enterprises focused on beer and malt. The main objective is to evaluate the level of the existing corporate culture of both companies. The partial target is to asses and to compare the corporate culture of selected companies on the basis of the analysis, as well as to find imperfections and to suggest possible remedy. The paper also describes the importance of corporate culture for strategic management. The theoretical part summarizes the findings regarding the corporate culture. The thesis also includes characteristics of the enterprise. The analytical part is prepared on the basis of a questionnaire survey in selected enterprises; it describes the selected sample and the findings. The employees are not satisfied with staff benefits and internal communication. The final part summarizes the findings of the survey and the recommendations for improvement of identified weaknesses.
