Foundation and expansion of entrepreneurship without sophisticated business plan is impossible nowadays in such a competitive environment. Business plan helps to discover possible barriers of penetrating the market or financial needs. Goal of this thesis is to compile a business plan including all the requisites necessary for the possible realization. It is desirable to describe all the risks and advantages as well. In the first part of the thesis there are explanations of the main themes describing making of a business plan, its common forms and integral parts. Second part is focused to the real point of view of the small profiting company planning about the diversification of its activities to the different sector. The processes in the company are designed to be effective and progressive when applying into the new segment of market. Planning is based on marketing research which provides informations for the plan of marketing. That plan is consequently exposed to the financial plan.

The goal of the master thesis is to conduct strategic analysis of an enterprise Soma spol. s r.o. and suggest possible recommendation for further development based on the knowledge acquired from the analysis. Theoretical part is focused on information referring to the topic of the thesis. Method and techniques of the strategic analysis are described and afterwards applied in the practical part. Practical section contains environment analysis using PESTEL analysis and Porter's Five Forces analysis. Onward the internal analysis is performed including identification of company's assets, financial analysis, Value Chain analysis and Portfolio analysis. In conclusion the results of all performed analysis are summarized using the SWOT matrix and the recommendation are suggested based on detected opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses of the company.
Strategic analysis and competitive strategy design of KRINNER CZ s.r.o. company

This thesis deals with strategic analysis of particular organisation. Appropriate methods of internal and external analysis are chosen and theoretically described as well as the theories for competitive strategy design. In practical part of the work, strategic analysis outputs are implemented for the needs of organization with a view to formulate optimal design of competitive strategy. The work concludes with results summarization, representing the preview to the strategy selection issue, designated for the needs of company management.

The goal is to elaborate a strategic analysis of the company Netsimple Conspiracy s.r.o. and formulation of the strategic recommendations. This is accomplished through the identification of strengths and weaknesses of the company and the opportunities and threats arising from its surroundings. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on theories of strategic management, business strategy and strategic analysis in general. The practical part of the thesis examines the application of methods of strategic analysis at Netsimple Conspiracy Company s.r.o., which output is the formulation of strategic actions. The conclusion summarizes all the outputs of the strategic analysis of Netsimple Conspiracy s.r.o., but also thesis as a whole.
New Trends of Strategy Conceptions in Germany Iron Foundries

Doctoral dissertation work that results from the new management theory has explored in both theory and practice new directions in approach to the strategy in German iron-foundries. It has explained the reasons that lead to structural changes, made the foundation for decision process, described the problems that occur when put in practice and suggested their resolution. Further on, it was explored and critically evaluated which competitive advantages these strategy directions contributed to and consequently discussed the superior aim of strategy. It has resulted from the empirical research that the German iron-foundries have been strongly influenced especially by new information technologies and car industry and its strategies. The most significant trend of iron-foundries is the focus on the key branch of activity. Cooperation and innovative strategy represent the complementary strategy to the primary strategy and enable to merge the comprehensive requirements of customers with the needed specialization and hereby retain their competitiveness. The research respecting the global economic crisis in the car industry shows that German iron-foundries have to re-evaluate their actual strategies and convert the growth to stability and long lasting development.
Analysis of the Competitive Advantages of an SBU (within the Organizational Structure of the University of Economics, Prague)

The goal of this thesis is to define the competitive advantages of a strategic business unit (SBU) that is within the organization structure of the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE). The Central and East European Studies Program (CESP) operates as an SBU within VŠE. This is a one-semester paid program that is part of the of foreign language programs at the university. The program's advantages were defined on the basis of a survey of CESP's competition on the market for free movers in the Czech Republic, a SWOT analysis, and the evaluation of a survey of CESP's students. In the future, CESP should be promoted with a focus on these advantages and the program should be further developed accordingly so as to attract new students to VŠE.

Garnea a.s. has experienced several significant changes during the last year. Change in the primary market and main part of the product portfolio are the two major ones. Moreover, the company recently experienced a decline in the revenues and profits as well. Therefore, the main goal of this thesis was to define a completely new strategy which would reflect all the current changes and effectively fight the problems the company suffers from. For this purpose, the thesis provides the reader with company analysis. The characteristics of the market and main customers groups are defined in the industry analysis. Competitor analysis summarizes main competitors on the local as well as national level, points out their main strengths, weaknesses and highlights the strategic goals they are likely to pursue. Based on this information the competitive strategy of the company is crafted in respect to its current and future resources and capabilities. The strategy aims at achieving a better competitive position in the market.

The main object of this thesis is analyse conditions for formation clusters in the Czech republic and possibility their other development. The thesis contains characteristics of the last and present operational programme, which support clusters. The other part of the thesis is analyse of the present situacion of development clusters in particular regions of the Czech republic and their comparison with clusters of Austria. In the ending part of the thesis are summarized all information get from questionnaire and interwiev with manager of the cluster EKOGEN.
Competitive advantage and position of certain company

This thesis is focused on the analysis of competition between companies which are targeted on the rendition of services and selling goods for a telecommunication company (operator) called Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a. s. Principal aim of this thesis was to establish the contemporary level of competitive strength of the chosen company, and propose how to improve it. In order for an objective examination, the wishes and needs of the customers were noted during questioning. According to the answers, the most important for end users is level of servicing and competence of shop assistants. The most important proposals for improvement are a greater knowledge of shop assistants in their field of expertise, reinforcement of service publicity, more visible use of the company{\crq}s logo and to safeguard the topicality of web pages.
