Comparision of legal regulation of arbitration in the Czech Republic and Spain

The bachelor thesis deals with legal regulation of arbitration. The main aim of the work is to explain the concept of arbitration and compare legal regulation of arbitration in the Czech Republic and Spain. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter acquaint reader with actual legislation in selected countries. The second chapter describes basic institutes of arbitration such as arbitration agreement, arbitrator, arbitration proceedings itself, arbitral award and his review. The last part of the work is focused on the use of arbitration in consumer disputes.
Current economic situation of the Basque Country

This master thesis deals with the autonomous community of the Basque Country, its economic situation, its economic development and future perspectives. At first the thesis focuses on Spain and its basic characteristics with emphasis on administrative division of the country. The second part deals specifically with the Basque Country and its political and historical development especially in the 20th century. Next chapter concerns current economic situation, its development, economic sectors and international trade which is crucial for its economy. The last part analyses the economic relations between the Basque Country and the Czech Republic.

This work deals with the position of diplomats and other foreing representatives in Spain and also with the position of Spanish diplomats abroad. This problematics has never been fully elaborated in Czech. That is the reason why this work focuses on the specifics of the Spanish environment.
Development of high-speed rail transport in Spain

This thesis describes the position of rail transport in Spain and focuses mainly on the current development of high-speed rail transport. Attention is paid to the AVE system, which is operated by the newly built infrastructure, but also to the other high-speed trains to run on conventional lines with Iberian gauge. The aim is to highlight the progress achieved in this area, capture a network built and planned high-speed lines, the transition to neighboring states and the process of integration of Spain into the Trans-European transport networks. In analyzing the tariff policy, the paper deals with basic and preferential tariffs applied by Renfe Operadora in the sphere of high-speed long-distance passenger trains.
Social security in the Czech republic and in Spain

The bachelor thesis "Social security in the Czech republic and in Spain" deals with the characteristics of social security in two chosen states of the European Union, in the Czech republic and in Spain. Aim of the bachelor thesis is to point out the main similarities and differeces of social security in the Czech republic and in Spain. The thesis is devided into five chapters. The first one deals with the terms in social security and it's history. The second chapter describes sources of social security law. The following chapters characterize systems of social security in both countries and aim to their comparison.
St. James' Way from the young generation's point of view

The thesis focuses on the analysis of the pilgrims' way in Spain and on the attitude of young people to this phenomenon. The theoretical part is aimed at tourism in Spain and the history of the St. James' Way. The practical part deals with current pilgrimages, primarily from the young generation's point of view. The aim of the thesis was to analyse the number of young people setting off for the St. James' Way and their motivation. Another aim was to find out what is the awareness of this pilgrims' way among young people in the Czech republic.
Current economic crisis in Spain and its impact on the development of the Spanish foreign trade

The Bachelor's thesis deals with Spain's expansionary policy which was ended by the economic crisis in years 2006 and 2007. Its goal is to call attention to the elements which led to economic boom but subsequently caused the crisis. A significant portion of the thesis is dedicated to the construction industry and the real estate market because these were the areas at the origin of the downfall of Spanish economy. In the practical part is analysed the formation of price bubble on the real estate market and its subsequent crack. In the last part is presented the current state of economy in Spain and their foreign trade potential.
The economic situation of PIIGS countries before and after accepting the Euro

The thesis deals with the economic situation of PIIGS countries - Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain, from 1996 up to the present. The first chapter defines the process of economic monetary integration up to the current economic crisis. On the basis of macroenomic analysis the thesis endeavours to find basic causes of current problems in PIIGS countries and to define an occurence of imbalances and varience among these states and other members of the Eurozone. In the conclusion we can find a comparison of PIIGS countries, an evaluation of their development before and after adopting the Euro and an influence of inflation, exchange rate and other economic factors on inception of divergences within the EMU.
Czech-Spanish business co-operation with a view to the cultural diversity

The first chapter is devoted to basic information about Spain. I present historical and economic developments of the country. Thoroughly I deal with the economic development during the financial crisis and with foreign trade classified in terms of the most important trading partners and commodities. The second chapter describes the Czech-Spanish business relations from the very beginnings to the present. There is also a subchapter, which is oriented on the state services to the support Czech exporters and importers. The third chapter shows the cultural specific features of both countries using the theories of Geert Hofstede, Edward Hall, Alfons Trompenaars and giving some examples.
The position of Spain in the international trade

The aim of this work is to document the economic situation of Spain with a focus on international trade. Based on macroeconomic indicators it analyzes the economic development of Spain in recent decades. It also examines the role of Spain in Europe and briefly describes the economic changes after entry into the European Union. The work analyzes economic and commercial relations with Latin American countries and Czech Republic.
