MISSING AND DISAPPEARING
Langer, Jan ; Havlík, Vladimír (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
This work documents the author's interest in drawing and is based on the mental background of his artistic creation. The work is guided by the interest in the physical conditions of the drawing itself (materiality of the drawing), but also in the study of drawing as a fluid material of artistic creation, entering into the relationship with the image (drawing as a material). At the same time it deals with the process of creation itself and the phenomenon of repetition. The primary goal of the whole work is not the deliberate laying of pre-formulated questions and the subsequent search for their answers, the presentation of some finished truths, or the mere illustration of a certain issue, but rather the process of finding questions that emerge during the process of creation itself.

Farlík, Jan ; Hubík, Stanislav (advisor) ; Mucha, Ivan (referee)
This master's thesis is concerned with space virtualization in relation to internet apartment sales as represented by the developer company Finep CZ a.s. . Through an analysis of works of the representatives of the philosophy of media it aims to describe the unequal character of the interaction between the web designers and the web users, when the first one, designing virtual spaces, structures the experience of the second, as the designed virtual spaces embody assumed images of what the potentional clients would like rather than the "real" space.

KUČEROVÁ, Blanka
My diploma thesis Space in Contemporary British Fiction will focus on the concept of space in contemporary British novel; at first, three of leading English authors will be mentioned (Ian McEwan, Graham Swift, Martin Amis), and it will briefly characterize the literary period in which their novels were published. In the chosen novels, the thesis will notice the changes of McEwan´s work towards the globalization of space. The core of interpretational analyses will be the novels The Cement Garden, The Comfort of Strangers, Amsterdam, Saturday, Solar and Sweet Tooth. The comparison with Golding´s Lord of the Flies will be a part of the chapter concerning McEwan´s first novel, The Cement Garden.

Than it has been proposed the solutions of the issues by using architectural and landscaping methods.

Closing the street line and the completion of the streets. The object smoothly recede in the street in Bratislava backwards. It creates a small, but very important public area. Fee of the real street is very essential for the further development of the area. The design responds to the local environment. Most of the courtyards is dysfunctional in terms of human and aesthetic. The design creates a separate world - paradise - inside the block.
