Capacities of elementary schools in the hinterland of the big cities presents actual problem of Czech educational system and no sufficient specialized attention is paid to it, except it has significant impact to the quality of education in these localities. Moreover it can support the inequalities in education. Therefore this diploma thesis offers complex view of investigated issue. The benefits of this work lies especially in the effort to indicate discussion about this topic, which no experts pay special attention to. The main goal is to describe the research problem, to clarify all the causes and consequences of the insufficient capacities in elementary schools problem and find out what is the extent of the problem in the hinterland of Prague. Primary and secondary data was used to achieve these goals. The overall research concept is based on mixed research technique. This diploma thesis finds out what is the current status of elementary schools education system in the hinterland of the big cities and what are causes and consequences of insufficient capacity problem of elementary schools with both quantitative and qualitative methods. This diploma thesis deals with current topic of lack of capacity of public nurseries and sketches possibilities of establishment of company nurseries as another way of preschools in the theoretical part. The diploma thesis makes an effort to summarize basic factors which can influence establishment and development of these company nurseries. Emphasis is put on importance of preschool education. The research part describes poossibilities of establishment and operation of company nurseries, finds out current development a identifies factors which influence their establlishment and operations. The research part is also focused on quality of education in these company nurseries. The qualitative research was used to achieve the research goal, the main method used to achieve the goal was multiple-case study.
Looking into and Evaluation Quality, Efficiency and Effects of Further Education

Looking into and Evaluation Quallity, Efficiency and Effects of Further Education A thesis centers upon description and comparison of methods that gain a feedback in the field of the quality of further education. It considers both institutions providing further education and institutions/organisations (e.g. schools, offices of public administration) representing source of participants of further education courses. A theoretical part the thesis compares well known methods reporting on the quality and effectivity of further education in a view of both a provider and a customer. A research aims for an analysis of gaining a feedback in the field of further education from 50 providing institutions and 340 institutions/organizations in a role of a customer. Those 340 institutions/organizations include 32 offices of public administrative and another 308 publicly figuring organizations (e.g. schools). This part of the thesis also presents positives and negatives of chosen methods. A conclusion of the thesis summarizes findings and provides recommendations for both surveyed groups.

Effect of specific support from the founder on the conceptual changes in the language education in primary schools This final bachelor thesis deals with the examination of the influence of targeted support by the founder in the area of language education in primary schools on the basis of the assessment of qualitative values of education results, based on the implementation of conceptual changes in the area of language education included in the school education programmes, on the basis of enlargement of the scope of foreign-language education and on the basis of increased use of the areas of communicative approach in teaching foreign languages. This thesis follows from the basic forms of education financing, from the use of direct methods of language teaching and from the current knowledge in the area of language education. The research part is preceded by the evaluation of the initial conditions preexisting the initiation of the system support of the language education development. This master thesis entitled "Opportunities and limits of evaluating the quality and efficiency in education " explores the possibilities of detecting and evaluating the quality, efficiency and impact of education. The thesis is composed of two parts . The theoretical part describes the basic terms and definitions of the education, presents analysis of approaches to evaluating the quality and effectiveness of further education, including explanations of specific models and evaluation methods which measure the impact of training on person or on the company in general. The empirical part deals with the analysis of the evaluation system of education in practice, particularly in two companies (Wrigley, Staropramen Brewery) and five secondary schools. At the end everything is summarized and some recommendations and suggestions are provided.
The quality of education and the analysis of PISA 2012 results in the Czech Republic with the emphasis on regional disparities

This diploma thesis deals with the quality of education and possibilities of its measuring. Primarily it is focused on the assessment Programme for International Student Assessment. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether significant regional disparities could be identified and to reveal potential factors influencing the causes of these disparities. Education is generally considered to be important factor of regional development and the way how to improve economic and social situation of the region. Theoretical part of the diploma thesis describes definitions of the basic concepts, the role of education in theories of the regional development, issue of education quality and background of PISA project. Practical part introduces the education system in the Czech Republic and the role of our regions as partly autonomous units. Especially the attention is paid to PISA results. The last results 2012 of Czech regions are the object of further analysis.

This bachelor thesis deals with the quality of education and teachers salaries in countries of the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to identify the relationship between teachers salaries and level of education. The literature review summarizes the main finding of the international comparative studies of education, teachers salaries and selected economic factors affecting the quality of education. At the conclusion of this work are proposed recommendations for economy policy makers in the Czech Republic.

The main aim of this work is to determine whether the academics in economic disciplines are willing to take part in industry placement, which requires an academic to be placed into a relevant industry host organization for a predetermined period of time. During this placement teacher gains practical experience, that can be used later to improve the education process. Students are given more practical information on different problems and how theories can be used in practice. Academic can help the company with innovations thanks to his wide theoretical knowledge, especially in case of smaller organizations. Long-term cooperation between university and companies offers the opportunity to exchange knowledge and build up so called Community of Practice, organize work experience for students and teachers or conform the curriculum to the needs of the labour market.
