The theme of the dissertation titled the Centre of Sport and Leisure Time in Brno is a design of a relaxing and sport site „Centrum Lužánky“. The subject of this project is architectonic-city-planning study, which deals with elaborating a concept of a sport centre behind Lužánky in Brno-Ponava. This dissertation contains details of the facility and the area of the current swimming pool Lužánky. The current state of the facility built in 1979 doesn’t meet requirements of visitors and sportsmen anymore. The main aim of this project is the reconstruction of the current fifty-meter swimming pool, a design of a new swimming pool placed under the ground floor of the current building, which will provide space for organizing international competitions, trainings of professional sportsmen, etc. At the same time the busyness of the current swimming pools would be lowered by building a new indoor and outdoor waterpark, especially for the group of recreational visitors. The attractiveness of the facility will be increased by the newly designed park relaxing area and proposed multipurpose area, used as a sports field in the summer and as an ice ring in the winter. Additional value of the facility is comprised by an indoor and outdoor café and large relaxing area on the roof of the waterpark. The whole area increases the community facility availability by a proposed wide range of services for health, relax and sport. The advantage of the whole concept is the mutual connection of all facilities. The entrance to the area is shortened by a designed pedestrian bridge, accessible from the south and north busy areas. The whole project is enhanced by increased number of new parking places, located particularly along the access road, the street Sportovní, going through a green zone. Title: Development and Education of Employees through Outdoor Activities in the Insurance Company ČSOB Objectives: The aim of this thesis is based on the findings of the current state of human resource management, methods of development and education of workers in ČSOB Insurance Company subsequent design changes in the field of human resources. Furthermore, finding effective solutions for improvement in cooperation, communication and business development of human potential through experiential outdoor activities. Methods: Analysis of documents, SWOT analysis, interviews. Results: Creation of draft recommendations for future planning strategy for education and staff development. The focus of this thesis is the design of outdoor teambuilding course, which will be able to ČSOB Insurance Management and the Department of Human Resources to include in their plans for training and staff development. Outdoor Activities for People with Disabilities

Title: Outdoor Activities for People with Disabilities Aims: The aim of the thesis is to prepare an argumentation for creating a professional centre offering outdoor activities to people with disabilities; to explore current situation within the field of outdoor activities; to assess the interest of workers in the field of education of people with disabilities in services provided by outdoor centres for people with disabilities; to assess the interest of people with disabilities in services provided by outdoor centres for people with disabilities. Methods: The principal method of this work is a quantitative research by means of non-standard questionnaire distributed to people with disabilities and to professional workers and organizations engaged in education of people with disabilities. Results: Based on a survey of publicly accessible information there was compiled an up-to-date list of organizations and centres engaged in providing outdoor activities for people with disabilities in the Czech Republic. General Project for Private Kindergardens

Title: General Project for Private Kindergardens Objectives: The primary aim of this diploma thesis is a survey of quality in organization of physical activities at the private kindergardens in Liberec. The secondary aim is to create a general framework for a specific kindergarden incorporated into the Czech Republic Idex of Kindergardens. Methods: This work combines direct, indirect and document methods; namely observing, dialogues, subject analysis and analysis of a secondary pedagogical school curriculum, which is a basis for theoretical and then consecutively for practical starting points of the work. The ascertained data are processed quantitatively. Results: Launching out into the market sector of private kindergardens in Liberec is not difficult. The quality of the physical activities offer shows an average up to below- average level but they keep a leading position in number of children per one teacher. Furthemore, there was found a lack in conducting children within physical activities in the public kindergardens in Liberec. Analysis of Safety in Relation to Subjects Related to Organization of Outdoor Courses

The main objective of this thesis is the analysis of safety in relation to main subjects related to organization of these outdoor courses, finding and correcting any inaccuracies, optimalization and improvement proposals. Safety area in the environment of outdoor courses is very extensive. That is why this thesis concentrates during investigation and analysis on the most important universities in the Czech republic which are related to the environment of outdoor courses. Last part of this thesis is comparing of data which has been identified from area of incomplete legislative standards and proposing how to make current situation better. Conclusion of this thesis is proposal of the solution based on creating new and updateable standard including the procedure proposal.
