Baths +
Svoboda, Marek ; Foretník, Jan (referee) ; Kristek, Jan (advisor)
Spas are designed on the principle of stage and auditorium, where the visitor becomes either actor or observer; actor or spectator. Fragmenting each "act" active activities through a carefully programmed observation sites and vistas is needed to create tension between actor and observer. "Story" is is revealed gradually, and his understanding is necessary to move the proposed space and rotate each "Auditorium". Achieve a comprehensive sensation viewer is associated with the need to crawl space spa. Act is repeated. From the viewer becomes an actor and the actor spectator. The body is in motion and mental marches are a reflection of observation of physical events. (google translator)
Android Application for Gas Furnace Servicemen
Podola, Adam ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This thesis describes the required specifications as well as the design and implementation of an application for devices running Android operating system which is primarily used by service technicians of gas boilers. This application allows the creation of an appropriate knowledge base which is useful for operations performed by a service technician. The application user interface is based on the functionality provided by the fragments. SQLite database is used in combination with an external storage device to preserve data.
Performance Evaluation of Graphics Accelerator
Dvořák, Milan ; Šolony, Marek (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a performance evaluation of graphics accelerators. Properties of the current graphics accelerators and existing solutions for evaluating their performance are summarized. An own methodology for performance evaluation is proposed and the implementation of an OpenGL aplication with GLUT and GLEW libraries is described. In the last part, several graphic cards are tested, the influence of various factors is examined, and the measured results are discussed.
Android Application for Learning Vocabulary
Černoch, Jiří ; Zachariáš, Michal (referee) ; Horváth, Zsolt (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the development of application for learning vocabulary on devices with the operating system Android. In thesis you can find basic common theory relevant to this problem, analyze of existing solutions, design of basic architecture and description of detail implementation.  Program is based on SQLite database and is optimized for devices with different size of screen.
Vertex/Pixel Shaders in Realtime Rendering
Ligmajer, Jiří ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
My bachelor's thesis is about vertex and pixel shaders. It is engaged in evolution, funcionality and usage of shaders in realtime graphics. This bachelor's thesis also includes tutorials, that are describing theory and implementation of three realtime rendering techniques, which were chosen by me. Results of my realtime techniques are evaluated at the end of my book.
Hierarchical Techniques in Lighting Computation
Ligmajer, Jiří ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with description of hierarchical techniques in global lighting computation. Here is explaining the importance of hierarchical techniques in lighting computation and shows method, how to use these hierarchical techniques in realtime radiosity and its extension to dynamic area lighting. These two techniques are described in detail in the first part of this project. In the other part is desing and implementation of application for dynamic area lighting computation.
Annotation Fragments Searching and Updates
Kubík, Lukáš ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master's thesis analyzes annotation server algorithms for searching and updating annotation fragments. The annotation server is a part of the project Decipher. Analyzed algorithms are improved and replaced by newly designed algorithms in this project. A part of this project also designs a new algorithm for measuring how much is an annotation affected after updating the document.
Holographic Hieroglyph
Sobotková, Adéla ; Havlíček, Jiří (referee) ; Cenek, Filip (advisor)
Topics fragmentary , symbolism and memory are the basic elements of creation and thinking Adele Sobotková (1987 ) . In her installation made of clay and covered with a udusaných objects together with the soil can walk, touch , read, intervene . This raises a cryptographic magical space full of mysterious objects in the video that represent clusters of personal hieroglyphic symbols and structures without the possibility of accurate decryption. These enigmatic characters are like glass or water , are changing , floating landscapes and refer to feelings of uncertainty, and forgetting the past, which is not entirely clear - is revealed as a mirage . Hologram is a representation of reality or reality that no longer exists but in time, or never existed , dream hi - technology , the current symbol of immortality, infinite and preservation in time. " Holographic hieroglyph " is a fluid phenomenon with varying meanings depending on its reading , the transcript or constant metaphor memories and the zpřítomňování hand in hand zpřítomňování a revival oblivion . Unclear character that has certainly not decipher , and yet we have it all in front of him , we see him from all sides , but also through him is the present and yet unreal . Great recording of uncertainty. (press release of the exhibition Holographic Hieroglyph in the Youth Gallery in Brno)
Compensation of geometric distortion of electrophoretic gel image
Dvořáček, Tomáš ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Škutková, Helena (advisor)
This master thesis is engaged in problematics of creation and compensation of geometric distortions in 1D agarose electrophoresis. This master thesis analyze the problematics of cause of these distortions and summarize the theory needed for compensation of these distortions. Based on acquired theory and created electrophoretic phantoms, the master thesis contains several suggestions for compensation of incurred distortions. These suggestions are recreated into functions, which are connected into a functional user interface for gel image analysis and geometric distortions compensation.
Body in fragments: Surrealism and the 19th century art
Bydžovská, Lenka
The text focuses on the question of representing a body fragment as an independent art work. It shows relations between various approaches to this kind of image in the 19th century and in the surrealist period.
