This thesis is concerned with the research satisfaction and motivation of employees in selected company. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts related to that topic. In the practical part there is employee satisfaction measured by questionnaire and employee motivation by method of word association. The result of this work is output in the form of proposal and recommendations, which should lead to an increase satisfaction and motivation employee, thereby increasing productivity.

Thesis contains theoretical knowledge about motivation system and explains basic concepts bound with this topic. Current trends of employee requirements in field of study were gathered using a survey. Based on analysis of the current status and findings, propositions for improving motivation strategy are stated. These suggestions come with quantification of eventual costs needed to realize them and will lead to bigger satisfaction of current employees and more efficient acquisition of new workers.

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of employee satisfaction in the agricultural cooperative AGRO - STONAŘOV, their motivation and rewarding. The work consists of three main parts. First part deals with theory and explains concepts for understanding selected issues. The second part introduces the company and analyses its current situation with the help of a questionnaire survey and interviews. Based on the results of the analysis, at the end of the thesis there will be presented proposals and recommendations for improving the current situation.
