CHOSEN SALE'S FROMS OF BIOPRODUST - RETAIL CHAINS

The principle aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze sale of organic food within selected retail chains. Specifically, it is determination of the sale strategy, assortment structure, conditions and culture of the organic food sale. The thesis comprises a part of the MSM 0652104020 research project of the College of Economic fo the South Bohemian University. The first part of this thesis summarizes theoretical information on ecological agriculture and organic food market. The practical part is based on questionnaire enquiry and analysis of offering lists. Questionnaires were sent to the management of retail chains operating in the area of the South Bohemian Region and including organic food in their offer. Single organic foodstuffs from the offering lists were analyzed and retail chains with so-called ``good practice{\crqq} were identified on their basis. The best offer of organic food is presented by the Interspar and Terno chains. For the present, retail chains are not significantly interesed in purchasing of organic products originating from the South Bohemia. The reason for this is that they operate within a nationwide scope. All retail chains addressed expect a slightly dynamic development of the organic food market. In the conclusion of the thesis, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of sale of organic food in retail chains are identified (SWOT Analysis).

The bachelor thesis deals with consumer behaviour when shopping for organic food and influence of social factors on decision making process. In order to achieve given objectives in-depth interviews with consumers (n = 60) and sellers (n = 12) were conducted. Primary data were supplemented with data from secondary sources and findings from observations in the shops. In conclusion general recommendations were formulated based on the results, which were then subsequently specified for a particular store.

In my bachelor thesis I investigated how consumers perceive organic food while shopping. In the first part of the thesis I introduced the theoretical information about organic farming and organic food. The second part is devoted to research and its evaluation. In the discussion, I proposed a specific solution to increase the demand for organic food. In conclusion, I summed up all the most important suggestions for organic food producers and retailers.

Bukvová, T., Consumer Behavior in the Organic Food Market. Diploma thesis. Brno Mendel University in Brno, 2017. The main objective of the thesis was to describe individual segments of organic food consumers and to suggest recommendations for both consumers and entrepreneurs (respecting the segments). The segments were identified on the basis of a primary survey related to consumer behavior in the organic food market. The theoretical part is focused more on the consumer and his behavior, the factors of influence and the possibilities of promotion. The practical part is dedicated to overview of secondary information and the primary research carried out by questionnaire survey is processed and evaluated. In conclusion of the thesis are recommendations for organic food market consumers and entrepreneurs. Discussion and conclusion summarize the problems and lists the results.

The Bachelor thesis deals with organic food in the Opava region. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the status of organic farming, the production of organic food and their interest from the consumers point of view. In the first part, there is outlined the issue of organic farming and production of organic food. Then the socio-economic and natural conditions of the Opava district are described. The second part focuses on the comparison of ecological areas and the production of organic food among districts in the Moravian-Silesian Region. In the thesis, there was conducted a sociological survey, which found out the opinions of people living in Opava. The questionnaire survey method was selected to collect data. Respondents responses were processed and evaluated into charts form. The final part proposes recommendations for further growth of the organic food market in the region.

The diploma thesis is focused on the support of the development of regional sales of organic food. The main objective was to analyse the possibilities of supporting the development for sales of regional products of organic farming in the Olomouc Region. In the theoretical part, the basic aspects of organic farming and organic food and then the basic factors influencing the organic food market and the forms of sale were defined. Using a questionnaire survey and a personal questioning, a survey between consumers, sellers and the manufacturer were conducted. The obtained information was compared and the possibilities for the development of organic food sales were proposed.

This thesis is focused on quality and production of organic food and the differences between organic products and conventional products. The aim of this work is focused on public perception of organic food, which was evaluated using a questionnaire survey in the Brno-city and Brno-country. The questionnaire survey consisted of 23 questions and 138 respondents completed it. The first six questions were to determine basic information about the respondent, the remaining issues were on the issue of organic food. The obtained values were evaluated by verbal expression and processing it into a graph. From the survey it became clear that the public is very little knowledgeable in this area, for example logo of European bioproduction never seen almost half of the respondents. In the quality and composition of foods are more interested women than men. Frequency of purchase of organic food is mostly once a month, in a hypermarket or a supermarket or in a specialty store with spending up to 500 CZK. The most desired range of organic quality are fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Purchase of organic food is limited mainly by higher price and lack of trust in organic food.

Is dedicated to characteristics of eco-logical agriculture, its tenets and principles. Another section of literary part is con-cent-ration on organic food. Especially with focus on production, quality and marking. The practical part is concerned by producers of organic food in South Moravian region and analyzing price of organic food in chain stores. Which took place in Brno and Blan-sko. Prices were compared between organic food and conventional food of private brands like Kaufland and Albert.
