Analysis of the State Contributory Organization, Czech Centres

The Master´s Thesis is focused on the State Contributory Organization, Czech Centres, which was established to promote the Czech Republic abroad. The theoretical element is focused on issues of the nonprofit public sector in the Czech Republic - definitions of the term nonprofit sector and public services. The emphasis is put on the characteristics of contributory organizations, funding, efficiency and selected specifics of the management of the contributory organization. Attention is also focused on other cultural contributory organizations. The practical element analyses Czech Centres. This part describes the core and complementary activities, funding, efficiency, motivation of employees and possibilities for cooperation on projects. The second part pays close attention to the activities of cultural diplomacy of Czech Centres.
Czech culture and its impact on bussines

The main goal of my bachelor's thesis is to explore Czech culture and its impact on bussines and workplace. The first chapter describes culture, the second presents business. In the third chapter I describe Czech culture using Hofstede's cultural dimensions and results of the qualitative research which I made.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the corporate culture of SKODA AUTO a. s. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical knowledge connected with this topic. The second chapter presents the company SKODA AUTO itself. The third part is focused on corporate culture of SKODA AUTO a. s. and their employees. The mainstay of the thesis is the final chapter that interprets results of survey and comes to conclusions about corporate culture of SKODA AUTO a. s.
Communication strategy

The aim of this master thesis is to suggest possible improvements for the current communication strategy of Czech Centre Munich -- one of the offshore branches of the government agency Czech Centres. This thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. Important terms (such as marketing and communication) are explained in the theoretical part with a focus on their modifications in the sector of services and cultural sphere. The practical part presents the structure of Czech Centres, their field of activities and their communication structure. This part also introduces Czech Centre Munich with its activities, partners and communication instruments. The communication strategy is analysed through a direct observation and a quantitative questionnaire. The final part of this thesis evaluates and states recommendations for the communication strategy.
The Meeting of Czech and American Cultures in Managerial Practices

The aim of the diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive picture of Czech and American cultures, not only in their interaction. This picture will be the basis for learning and understanding of both cultures and their mutual differences. A detection of cultural specificities, their clarification and explanation of their causes is a fundamental concern of this thesis. The main issue of the research is to uncover cultural differences and related cultural clashes. The second aim of the diploma thesis is building a list of potential cultural clashes and final recommendations for the Czechs to know how to prevent these conflicts.
Impacts of EU Membership on the Czech Republic - April 2012

In April 2012 CVVM investigated on the membership of the Czech Republic in the European Union. Informants were asked to evaluate positive and negative efects of membership and the impact of membership on chosen areas of public life. 72 % agreed that EU membership helped Czechs to work, live and study in other EU countries. 82 % said that membership increased the level of bureaucracy in Czech republic. 61 % agreed that membership brought a lot of money from EU funds to the country. Economical migration of czech skilled workers to another EU countries was agreed by 58 % of informants. On the other hand only 38 % claimed that EU membership is a danger for Czech culture.
