The traditional folk culture as a meaning of revenue for the tourist industry

The aim of my thesis is looking at the traditional folk culture and finding its economic potential for tourism. I would like to show there is some interconnection between traditional folk culture and tourism. My work is focused on open air museums. I chose the Wallachian Open-air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm as a representative of succesful cultural organisation. I would like to discover which factors are behind the success of the organisation and to find assets which brings to the tourism of the region of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. I will use every accessible resources.
The influence of land - use planning on use of monuments in the Tourism area

This bachelor thesis tries to find the context of three areas - issues of cultural heritage, tourism and land -- use planning. It is based on the hypothesis that not only the very cultural heritage, but also the position and the environment in which they are located, are the attractions of tourist destinations and have effect on the overall picture of the place and its genius loci. The practical part is about two villages at Kutná Hora region, where are two castles with different destinies.
Entrepreneurial plan – increase of occupancy rate of a recreational object in Bílé Poličany

The purpose of this dissertation is to draw an entrepreneurial plan with the intent to increase the occupancy rate of a recreational object in Bílé Poličany. In the theoretical part, first I deal with drawing an entrepreneurial plan (importance, principles of preparation, structure), then I present a brief overview of organisations dealing with tourism. A big part also pays attention to internet marketing. In the practical part the theoretical knowledge is applied in the entrepreneurial plan to increase occupancy rate of the recreational object in Bílé Poličany.
The position of tourism in the Italian and Croatian economy

Analysis of each country is divided into three main sections. The first section describes the economic, location and realization conditions which are important for the development of the tourism in Italy and Croatia. The second part is about inbound tourism and how the tourism industry impacts on GDP, employment and investments in each Italian and Croatian region. The prospects of tourism in Italy and Croatia are defined in the last chapter.
An analysis of literature on tourism in the English language

The thesis deals with publications on tourism written in the English language. Its main goal is to create an overview of these publications and explore how they cover various segments of tourism. It also compares the publications written in English with those written in Czech, trying to find out if they cover the same topics. The paper also evaluates the accessibility of the English written literature in the Czech Republic.

Thesis is engaged in the research of the market of the web portals focused on tourism and travelling round Slovakia. The first part explores the purpose of internet for travelling, the second part contains summary of the main factors which has the greatest influence on tourism in Slovakia. The main aim which is included in the third and the fourth part is to analyse current web portals oriented on Slovakia as touristic destination and to prepare a primary plan of particular travel web focused on such content.
Position of the tertiary sector in the Spanish economy since the 90th years to the present

This bachelor thesis focuses on development of tertiary sector (services sector) in Spanish economy and its impact on the employment, GDP and the balance of payments of the country. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the definition of tertiary sector and explanation of the causes of its growth. The second part describes the general development of the Spanish tertiary sector from 60th until 2009. The remaining three parts deal with the detailed development of the three major sectors of services sector -- tourism, trade in goods and transport -- from the 90th of the 20th century to the present (2009).
Transport Services in Karlovy Vary Region in Term of Tourism

The main aim of consideration in this bachelor thesis is transport services at some of the most significant touristic targets in Karlovy Vary Region. In theoretical part is its reader informed about meaning of the most important terms, such as transport services in logistics and tourism. Subsequently is reader informed about all necessary information about Karlovy Vary Region and its main touristic targets. In practical part an executed analysis of transport services is described. Main target is to find out if support of transport services is optimal from the position of transported tourists and from position of the number of transport connections. An analysis is aimed on region and its connections out of region. The main contribution of research is finding of some deficiencies in support of transport services at Karlovy Vary Region and some suggestions of its improvement.

This thesis deals with the topic of gastronomy in the tourism industry in the region of South Bohemia, Czech Republic. It focuses mainly on regional meals, major food industry companies in the region and on local gastronomic events. The final part tries to analyze the offer of regional gastronomy and the awareness of local inhabitants about South Bohemia cuisine.
