Ethical Behaviour Aspects of Clients of the Prevent After Care Centre in Connection with the Build-up of their New Identity
KOREŠ, Jiří
The theoretical part of this diploma thesis deals with the changes of behaviour and attitude of clients who underwent drug addiction therapy. I have focused on the ethical aspects of these changes and their development within the build-up of the clients' new identity. I will analyse the environment and facilities in which the changes take place, approaches to therapy as well as addiction models, these being the decisive factors of change. I will also focus on the concept of identity build-up as presented in M. Brožová's analysis as a process of changes, which take place after therapy in communities and therapeutic facilities. In the conclusion, I will analyse the conception of ethics and the components of ethics as a basis to define signs of ethical behaviour in the topics of respondents. The practical part is a probe into the process of behaviour and attitude development of Prevent After Care clients. In the introduction, I will present the applied research methods, selection of fields, the research sample and operational procedures. Further, individual dialogues with respondents are included, including interpretation of the dialogues in relation to human practice and an interpretation of behaviour changes. In the dialogues, I will focus on the perception of changes by the clients themselves, their idea of freedom and their values.
QUESTIONS OF SAFETY IN THE INSTITUTIONS INTENDED FOR WATER HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
KADLECOVÁ, Jana
``Water-related injuries{\crqq} are the second most frequent cause of death of children in the Czech Republic. My thesis addresses the issue of safety in facilities designed for aquatic leisure activities. Within the scope of the qualitative research with the aim to analyze technical standards, to ascertain their observance and afterwards to analyze the injury risks I used the data collection technique consisting in secondary data analysis, observation in combination with photographic documentation and semi-standardized interviews. For the research I selected a swimming pool in České Budějovice and Aquaviva Wellness Centre in Aurora Třeboň spa. The reason for this selection was creation of a pilot study monitoring safety in these facilities in South Bohemia. The Czech Republic has technical standards in place that are applied to minimize the risk of injury to the largest possible extent in facilities like that. They determine the procedures that have to be observed during construction and subsequent operation of facilities designed for aquatic leisure activities. The provisions defined by the standards are observed in both facilities but in their substance they are so generalized that it is only at the operators{\crq} discretion to what extent the safety is to be secured by them. They should be more specified and applied concretely to individual units of the equipment in order to create a safe environment. As far as risk places in the facilities are concerned, it may be stated that, regardless of compliance with the requirements defined by the standard, there is a large number of risks related in particular with slippery surfaces. Within the scope of the safety evaluation, it is also necessary to take account of hazardous behaviour of users of the chutes. The results of the research indicate that in Aquaviva Wellness Centre in Třeboň safety is secured and complies with the requirements of technical standards and the prevention requirements; the swimming pool in České Budějovice shows more serious defects {--} the standards are complied with but the surfaces are not covered with materials that would secure safety. On the basis of my research and other technical studies that confirmed seriousness of water-related injuries it is obvious that the issue of injuries in this field will require modification of safety measures and more precise specification of standards and thus elements such as materials of surfaces that would secure the required safety.

Koubková, Karolína ; Hadrabová, Alena (advisor) ; Remtová, Květa (referee)
The topic of this diploma thesis is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with prominent attention paid to the environmental aspect. One of the main targets of this thesis is to analyze the attitude of companies to the CSR and to answer the key question -- why do firms deal with CSR and how can it influence their business. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the meaning of the CSR concept and it also contains an analysis of its individual benefits. The standards related to CSR are also discussed, with the inclusion of ISO 26000. The practical part shows examples of the attitude and approach of some selected companies towards socially responsible behaviour. Firstly, their activities in the environmental area are presented and an interpretation of how these companies perceive benefits of the CSR concept follows. Another target of this thesis is to evaluate if the CSR concept should be normalized. That is why it was important to include a part showing the opinion of some companies about the CSR norms. The final part includes all findings reached while writing this diploma thesis and an answer to the key question -- why companies make use of the CSR -- is provided.
