Cílem práce je zanalyzovat obchodní a kulturní zvyklosti Súdánu jednak na základě dostupných teoretických informací o zemi, především však na základě zkušeností odborníků z praxe, jež se setkali se súdánskými obchodními partnery v pracovním procesu. První část práce shrnuje socioekonomické, politické, historické a přírodní pozadí země, druhá část se týká kulturních specifik Súdánu, třetí část již plně vychází z informací získaných vlastním výzkumem, tedy analýzou obchodního jednání a jeho zvyklostí na základě zkušeností českých firem. V poslední části práce je pak nastíněna historie česko-súdánských vztahů včetně situace v současnosti. The aim of the thesis is to analyze business and cultural customs in Sudan, partly based on the available theoretical information about the country, partly and mainly based on the experience of the experts from praxis. The first part of the thesis describes socioeconomic, political, historical and natural background of the country, the second part concerns typical cultural specifics of Sudan, the third part is fully based on information gained by my own research, i.e. analysis of business dealings and its customs according to the experience of Czech companies dealing with Sudanese business partners. Finally, history as well as current situation of Czech-Sudanese relations is summarized in the last, fourth part of the thesis.
