Ecological problems energetics CR
Šilar, Martin ; Bok, Jaromír (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This project presents the current status of power resources and supply in the Czech Republic and examines its different connections with ecology. The existing situation in energetics is described in the first chapter of the thesis. This chapter contains general information as well as an analysis of the progress to date related to the structure of installed power and to the amount of electricity generation and their consumption. The description of the common influence of energetics on the environment is provided in the following chapter, which also introduces the next step, namely a short survey of the characteristics of the currently used energy resources and their direct relationship to the monitored ecological problems. The practical part of the project is based on the calculation of emission in the fifteen biggest thermal power station in the Czech Republic. The calculated amounts of emission are compared with the related features of nuclear waste. The last chapter contains information about the EU legislation concerning the reduction of carbon dioxide. In this respect, there are presented also the measures planned to facilitate the reduction of carbon dioxide in Czech Republic.

Intermediate heat exchanger natrium - natrium
Kupčík, Petr ; Martinec, Jiří (referee) ; Šen, Hugo (advisor)
This paper deals with intermediate heat exchangers in nuclear power plants. First section of this paper is devoted to analysis and divide of construction designs of intermediate heat exchangers in commercial and experimental power plants. There is a description of thermal, hydraulic and strength calculations during projection of IHX in the second chapter. There has been made a blueprint of loop type IHX in the final chapter of this paper.

Ecology and law
Koubalíková, Jitka ; Spirit, Michal (advisor) ; Neděla, Radek (referee)
The thesis deals with the relationship between ecology and law in nuclear energy and the possible impact on the environment. The first part briefly summarizes the most important historical approaches to ecology and describes environmental law in the Czech Republic and the EU. The next section is focused on law in the area of construction and operation of nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic and the EU. The fourth chapter deals with operation of nuclear power plant Temelín and assessment the legislation. The fifth chapter is dedicated to various forms of longstanding conflict between the Czech Republic and Austria.

Position of nuclear energy in Europe (focus on France)
Rožníčková, Lucie ; Kašpar, Václav (advisor) ; Vošta, Milan (referee)
The objective of the thesis is to characterize the nuclear energy in the european area with the focus on nuclear energy in France. The sector of nuclear energy is now experiencing a new period, so-called "nuclear renaissance". Many european countries decided to rebuild the present nuclear power sites or to construct new ones. Nuclear energy is the most advantageous solutions for many european countries because it decreases external energy dependence and it helps to diminish the carbon dioxide emissions. In the connection with the Czech Presidency in the European Union, it was made proposal for the "Nuclear Security Community" which has to unify the security level of member states of the EU and to intensify the mutual cooperation in the domain of nuclear energy. France represents world nuclear leader thanks to efficiently operating oragnizations, excellent results in nuclear research, realization of nuclear fuel recycling and strong government support. Nucler energy in France can serve as an example for four recommendations to other european countries: government support, efficiently working research institutions, global cooperation between all subjects participating on the formation of nuclear energy and active involvement in the international cooperation in nuclear energy. In spite of constantly high initial investment in construction of nuclear power sites, the nuclear energy seems to experience a positive future.

Enterprise management and environment
Martenek, Milan ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor) ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (referee)
Graduation theses deals with problems of nuclear energetics and its impact on the environment. It presents the progress of nuclear power station in all contexts and tries to demostrate that the nuclear energetics is unavoidable progression. The work further describes the influence of Nuclear power station Dukovany on its close environment, especially on animals, plants and the health of inhabitants.
