Service unit for BUSE devices with remote management
Musil, Roman ; Sýkora, Tomáš (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create compact device which allows remote management of low-level devices of public transport information system. The thesis first deals introduction to the issues of the information system as a whole and its requisites. After that the thesis analysis the hardware of the existing board computer which the design was based. The next points od this thesis are focused to design and create software for upgrade firmware of information panels created by BUSE company and also for design and create system for remote managment. The conclusion summarizes obtained information and the results achieved.
Remote Lift Management
Weisser, Filip ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
The goal of this master thesis was create suitable and easy to use software, which can help workers with maintaining of elevator. For this purpose it was necessary to study communication interface and protocol of control unit borrowed from the company Výťahy ZEVA s. r. o. There was necessary to find suitable device for communication between control unit and server. Server is used for store and visualize actual data of elevator system. Server can set the parameters of the elevator remotely and demand actual configuration of elevator. User can watch historical data from server. The users use server after authentication with different competency. Users with an appropriate competency can set the notifications in the system, which can warn their in case of problem with elevator and reduce the reaction time and time to resolution of the problem.
The sensor technic workplace available by internet
Cieslar, Jakub ; Bajer, Petr (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the support of teaching the course "Microsensors and microelectromechanical systems" by the means of remotely controlled sensor technique laboratory. Design and realization of a device, which communicates with computer and which can be controlled via internet, are the main aims of this work. This thesis describes the process of designing, realization and optimalization of already designed preparation adjustment. It also describes created software of a device and programme of a web client.
Web server with ARM microprocessor
Tesař, Jan ; Vařacha, František (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis is dealing with design and implementation of the web server and manage- ment website in the developing kit FriendlyARM Mini6410 with installed OS GNU/Linux. The embedded packaging system PTXdist is described in terms of Kernel configuration and selection of suitable applications. The device should be later used for the remote management of atmospheric optical link.
Remote maintenance of the microcontroller systems
Vágner, Martin ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of remote maintenance of microcontroller systems based on Atmel AVR family over the Ethernet interface and TCP/IP protocols. To create communication through TCP/IP, an embedded server NE-4100T is used. At the beginning, key features of the server and methods of handling with content of a program memory are discussed. The final solution is based on the bootloader method. It includes bootloader firmware and user program for PC. The hardware part covers design of interconnection electronics, DC-DC step down converter, real time clock and printed circuit board. The remote maintenance of program memory has been sucessfully solved, but the embedded server NE-4100T produces a problem with an auhentification without a sufficient solution.
Remote control of FPGA-based embedded system
Král, Jan ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor’s project looks into the development of a part of Digitizer embedded system. The design is focused on the usage of FPGA-based processor managing the remote control operations and on the achievement of the sufficient bitrate for transmitting data to the ethernet network. The project summarizes used solutions and evaluates their applicability in the developed system. Matching concepts of solved problems are designed properly; in most cases they associate positive properties of used solutions. The implementations of MicroBlaze processor system and chosen modules were performed into the target device and the desired characteristics were measured with successful outcome.
Server and client management hosting services using Qt4 framework and Linux
Matas, Jakub ; Stančík, Peter (referee) ; Matocha, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and the implementation of a client/server application for the administration of hosting services. Other solutions of hosting services administration are listed as well and they are contrasted and compared with the assigned solution. A description of the particular hosting services and their setting for the Ubuntu Linux distribution are provided. A communication protocol and a data store serving to save all the client accounts and servers were designed. Basic principles of working with C++ framework Qt and its usage for the implementation of both the server and the client application are demonstrated. The basic settings of the server application enabling it to be launched on the server as a service are mentioned as well. In the last part a description is stated of working with the client applications and administration of the client accounts.

Implementation of presentational device with Raspberry Pi
Beránek, Ondřej ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and subsequent implementation of a presentational device with Raspberry Pi using free software. The theoretical part of this thesis includes an analysis of available commercial solutions, specification of requirements, testing free operating systems and assessment of their suitability for the purpose. The practical part of this thesis is focused on the implementation of a presentational device with the most suitable free system and on the test of this final solution. The aim of the thesis is to create a maintenance-free presentational device with easy remote access.
