The Fragile Line
Tůmová, Helena ; Kovanda, Jiří (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
The project of my diploma thesis Fragile Line is a continuation of my bachelor thesis Limits of Normality in which I compiled part of the drawn black and white imaginary world of a 10-year old boy Jára with Asperger syndrome and created its colourful 3D visualisation. Fragile Line is for me some imaginary border between the real world and Jára`s fictional world. In my diploma work I created three planets from Jára`s space system, intentionally I used different technology and range of colours for each of them because children like disparity and variety.
Collaborative Interaction among Users in Virtual 3D Scene
Tóth, Michal ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to get familiarized with graphical library OpenSceneGraph, windowing library Qt and possibilities of network communication. And to demonstrate possibilities of these libraries on simple application. Basic traits of used libraries and tools are explained to the reader. Design and implementation of application -- network game are descriped later in thesis.
Systém umožní screening a předvýběr těchto osob.
Comparison of NASA and ESA strategic communications
Thein, Filip ; Poliaková, Karolína (advisor) ; Houdek, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with the differences in communication between the American space agency NASA and its European counterpart ESA. The theoretical part focuses on the communication of astronomy, historical development of agencies, and cooperation with other national and private entities. In the practical part, NASA and ESA's direct communication with the public is mapped. The aim of the work is to compare the differences in the strategic communication of space agencies and to find key communication aspects. Research carried out using a comparative method and thematic analysis reveals how the communication of the European and American agencies differs. As part of data interpretation, results are tied to their organizational structures, agency histories, stated values, and funding.
Space Exploration of Mars
FORMATION OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM AND ITS PRESENTATION WITHIN LESSONS AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
KLEISNEROVÁ, Sandra
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is, how the Solar System is being taught in elementary schools. The first half is focused on the formation of the Solar System, its history and the newest discovered facts. Then, it focuses on data about the Sun, the Moon and other planets that are included in the Solar System. Next part deals with the research and opinions of the teachers about the options of running their lessons and the research of the student´s knowledges using an exam. Afterwards, these exams are graded and subjected to research. Next, there is an analysis of teaching materials and a presentation about the problematics of Framework Education programme and School Education programme. Finally, there is a design, how classes should be taught about the formation of Solar system after the detailed and diligent study of literature, observations and researches.
Obamova reforma vesmírné politiky
Nguyen, Hoai Nam
Nguyen, H., Obama's reform of space policy. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel Uni-versity, 2015. The topic of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of Obama's reform of space policy and its changes and whether it had a positive effect on the costs of US space transportation. The first part of thesis focuses on the description of changes in US space policy before and after Obama's reform and the theory of space policy in general. Using methods of drama education in preschool children
KORCHOVÁ, Adriana
In my work I deal with dramatic education and its use of dramatic methods in preschool children. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part specifies dramatic education and concepts, methods, techniques associated with it, as well as the development of pre-school children and pre-school education, in which I also deal with the Framework Educational Program for Pre-school Education. Part of the practical part is a project on the theme of "Space", thanks to which I find out how to use methods in kindergarten. The main idea of my bachelor thesis is to prove the importance of drama education when working with preschool children. In my work I use observation method, method of interview with colleagues and parents, observation of colleagues and parents.
Position of space private sector in China and USA
Nodesová, Markéta ; Pražák, Jakub (advisor) ; Tesař, Jakub (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the differences in approach of liberal-democratic regimes and authoritative regimes in relation to the private space sector in terms of the long-term sustainability of each approach, in the cases of the People's Republic of China and the United States of America as representatives of these regimes. The aim of the thesis is to find out the relationship of the cases to the private space sector from the beginning of the "New Space" era to the present day. "New Space" represents the rise of commercial actors and private companies who intend to use the space for commercial gain. This "New Space" ecosystem forms new relationships between countries and private actors, which also leads to changes in national space programs. While states maintain their leading position in the space domain, they are increasingly linked to the "New Space" actors. However, the state-private sector relationship differs depending on the regime in which the country operates. In the first part of my thesis, I describe the principles of both examined regimes and set out the basic conditions for the long- term sustainability of the private space sector according to Mahan's theory. I also assessed the astropolitics of space, including the astropolitics of China and the USA. Subsequently, I focused on...
Conceptual design of a gear tester for space applications
Florián, Vojtěch ; Černohlávek, Mikuláš (referee) ; Košťál, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of a conceptual design of gears tester for space applications. The tester must simulate space conditions and test whether the gear can operate in those conditions. It is more important to test the wheel material than its geometry. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, a search of current knowledge of the issue is created. The second part describes several conceptual designs of testers and their models. Subsequently, a concept that can most faithfully simulate real conditions in low orbit is selected and described in detail. The final design of this concept will facilitate the testing of gears and minimize their failure rate during operation.
