Problems of Listed Words in Czech Language Teaching

The diploma thesis is focused on problems of listed words in czech language teaching. The main aim of the thesis was to found the most effective method of listed words teaching in a third year of primary school. Theoretical part describes the position of listed words in Czech language and it search a pitfalls during the listed words teaching. The component of a teoretical part is also an analysis of Czech language textbooks for the third year of primary school. In the end of a theoretical part I was founding the other methods of listed words teaching which can be used in teaching. In practical part i was creating a materials for listed words teaching by selected teaching method (the method of word formation groups) and than i was verifying this method in a practical using. For the research investigation i selected qualitated method an action teaching research. With a group of six students i studyied by the method of word formation groups and than i compare them with rest of a class, which was teaching by traditional method of teaching. In conclusion of a diploma thesis i tested the both groups. In a final test i founded out, that the method of word formation groups is more effective than the tradiotional method. Problematics of Spelling Soft and Hard Consonants in Teaching

The diploma thesis Problematics of Spelling Soft and Hard Consents in Teaching deals with the given topic within the curriculum of the second year of primary school. The main aim of the thesis was to teach pupils the orthographic rules related to the topic and their application. Theoretical part describes the position of consonants in Czech language, the position of given topic in teaching and problematics of terminology. It also describes the psychomotor development of child. Further, in theoretical part is an analysis of interpretation and practice in Czech language textbooks for the second year of primary school. The subject of the practical part was to create and apply an alternative teaching method and to teach pupils to use soft and hard i/y after spellingly soft and hard consonants. The survey was conducted with pupils of the second year of primary school in the form of application of an alternative teaching method created on the basis of a synthesis of knowledge from the theoretical part. It was attended by 21 pupils for 22 teaching hours. Main testing was performed at the beginning and at the end, continuous testing took place in sections of the subject matter. Linguistic analysis of historical text by Augustin Mitis Kázání o povětří

The topic of thesis Linguistic Analysis of Historical Text by Augustin Mitis Kázání o povětří is the linguistic analysis of historical text Kázanj O Powětřj, which comes from the year 1620 and his author was Augustin Mitis. Text is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part the orthography and language of humanistic era is described. Practical section is bringing results of analysis of linguistic layers: orthography, phonetics, morphology, word formation and syntax. During the creation of the thesis is used the qualitative textual analysis, which is supplemented by the quantitative statistical analysis. The supplement of this thesis contains additional research, which contains analysis of two pages of print Wýklad Modlitby Boží, which comes from the same printing house as analyzed text. In the chapter about orthography the way of print is described. In this print was used the Brethren՚s orthography. Analysis of phonetic changes shows that they are not common. The chapter about morphology is focusing on representation of word classes and grammatical categories of nouns and verbs. Contemporary Czech orthography workbooks and guides and their didactic use

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of use of contemporary workbooks and guides of Czech orthography, their quality and their position amongst other material didactic aids. It briefly introduces the concept of spelling from a linguistic viewpoint, defines the spelling curriculum in a didactic concept, and introduces the basic types of spelling exercises, as well as their advantages and risks. Empirical research was carried out through five selected publications. These were subjected to a detailed examination and the selected passages were subjected to a response from primary school respondents. This thesis analyses specific selected books, but moreover, it also aims to evaluate the possibilities and limits of commercial publications designed for spelling practice. The choice of the type of exercises included, the assignment's clarity, the content attractiveness of included texts, and the book's graphic processing and more are important factors in determining the quality of the given types of books.
Task with the overview sheets of Czech language lessons for the 5th grade of elementary school

The diploma thesis deals with the orthography problems and the use of Czech language overview worksheets for the 5th grade of primary school. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part contains the definition of the subject matter in RVP ZV, the definition of orthography, its meaning, spelling functions and principles, types of spelling exercises, their classification and correction. A discussion of new changes and approaches in contemporary orthography is also in the theoretical part. The research part of the thesis contains a pilot verification of the Czech language overview worksheets and asks several questions. The aim was to find out the pupils' attitude to orthography, to reveal their most common spelling mistakes and to verify whether there was an improvement in the spelling while pupils were using the Czech language overview worksheets for the 5th grade of primary school. The practical part of the thesis contains created overview sheets for the 5th grade of elementary school.
Student with developmental dysphasia and specific learning disabilities

The diploma thesis is focused on the problems and relationship of specific language impairment and learning disabilities, as developmental disorders affecting not only speech and language, but also other areas influencing the educational process and school success of pupils. The introductory chapters are devoted to the theoretical definition of individual disorders with a focus on their terminology, etiology, symptomatology, diagnostics and therapy. Attention is also focused on the reciprocal context of specific language impairment and difficulties in reading, writing and orthography. The thesis is a comparative case study whose aim is to describe and compare the symptoms of the abovementioned disorders in a selected group of pupils of younger school age as reflected in basic school skills - reading and writing. The purpose of the thesis is to point out their interdependence and similarity in the field of education, but also certain specifics of each of the disorders depending on the individual peculiarities of each pupil.
Language mistakes in formal e-mail communication in French and their impact on the achievement of the communication goal

v anglickém jazyce The aim of this thesis is to analyze language problems in the uncorrected written speech of French native speakers. Examined snippets come from electronic communication between clients and the service provider. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical part is focused on defining the term "error", classifying language problems by levels and pragmatic aspects of e-mail communication. The second part of the thesis is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the analysis of language problems in the context of individual texts and the assessment of their importance for achieving the communication goal. This analysis is carried out on the basis of the criteria from the theoretical part. The second chapter will be devoted to a questionnaire on this issue between native speakers and their reactions.
