The bachelor thesis deals with an excursion included in the practical training for an educational subject focused on Social work, and its subsequent application in the training of specialized subjects, and in the students´ career and professional orientation. The goal of the theoretical part is to define the excursion and its inclusion in the education system for professional training. This part of the thesis is aimed at the characteristic of the excursion types, phases, and the requisites necessary to arrange for the excursion. The methods applied in the thesis theoretical part include the studying of expert sources, their analysis, and subsequent synthesis with resulting own opinions and attitudes. The goal of the practical part is to submit plans of three excursions at selected institutions, the activity of which relates to the education subject of “Social work”. The excursion plans are followed by work sheets pointed at fixation of the subject, for understanding the institutions´ mission, and for evaluation. The contribution of the planned excursions has been evaluated by a pedagogue of a secondary vocational school. The in-time evaluation of the excursion plans could allow for their potential usability directly in practical pedagogy. The methods applied at elaboration of the practical part are analyses of the particular institution´s documents and of the education subject “Social work”, a subsequent synthesis, application of the knowledge obtained at the excursion planning, and a structured interview with a pedagogue. Based on the information obtained from the theoretical and practical parts of the bachelor thesis, recommendations for the practical pedagogy have been formulated.
The use of activating teaching methods in the teaching of economic subjects at high school

The bachelor thesis "The use of activating teaching methods in the teaching of economic subjects at high school" deals with the teaching methods used in teaching the subject of economics. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the use of activating teaching methods at the chosen high school and to evaluate the role of these methods in teaching. To determine the conclusions, a qualitative research was carried out in the form of a case study. The theoretical part of the thesis presents a literary research of the basic termino-logy of the problems. In this part, concepts such as teaching, teaching methods, organi-zational forms of teaching were explained. The theoretical part follows the practical part, which involves the implementation of a case study. The case study provided conclusi-ons, which are analyzed in the last part of this bachelor thesis. The last part shows what methods were applied in the classroom. It also describes the facts found during the in-terview and the facts from the questionnaire survey. The conclusion summarizes the fin-dings.
Preparation of teacher at small-class school

Small-class school is a kind of school where two or more classes are taught together. This type of organization is demanding for teachers, their lesson planning and the whole learning process. Important part of small-class teacher's activity is indirect pedagogical work. It means organization of regular or irregular activities which are necessary for socio-cultural function of those schools in a village. It is possible to label small-class schools as alternative schools where unconventional teaching methods are used. Main goal of this thesis was to find out which types of teaching methods and didactic tools are used most frequently in small-class schools. Other goals of this thesis were to describe a range of indirect pedagogical work and co-operation of small-class schools with special pedagogues.
Teaching Prosocial Skills at Primary Schools

The Master thesis "Teaching Prosocial Skills at Primary Schools" deals with the theory related to the prosocial behaviour and further aims to describe present possibilities and methods of teaching prosocial skills at primary schools. The author, in the theoretical part, characterizes and analyses prosocial behaviour, according to its types and forms, outlines basic theories of prosocial behavior and its determinants. The author further gives examples of how schools are able to incorporate teaching prosocial skills in school curricula. The author, in the empiric part, introduces opinions, attitudes, ideas and previous experiences of teachers and students with this education, using interviews and analyses of school curricula and minimum preventive program.

Field education and practical experiments in meteorology and climatology within geography Abstract By means of my theasis I have tried to prove that there are some experiments and activities for field education we can use to support geographical lessons focused on meteorology and climatology. First I describe the advantages and disadvantages of different organizing forms for the education. Next I mention the main benefits of field education, its structure and goals and I also remind its placement in RVP ZV and RVP G. In the next chapture I try to show differences between demonstration teaching and practical students work which are the kinds of methods using in practical experiments. The methods, which are used during teaching, are up to the schools according to their curiculum. In the last theoretical part I prove the meteorology and climatology education at schools is part of geographical education, especially in the first and fifth grade of 8 years grammar school or in the first grade of four year grammar school. As a part of my theasis I also include practical experiments and activities used in field education which are suitable for application of meteorology and climatology lessons. eTwinning as a form of teaching classes from Pedagogy branch at secondary schools

The diploma thesis is focused on the project-based learning. Specifically, it deals with the possibility to utilize the project-based learning within eTwinning for teaching students of educational fields at high school. The goal of the work was a theoretical analysis of the problem as well as a prototype of a project which focuses on pre-school and extra curricular education. The methodology used in this work is based on the participatory-action research. First, a form-based survey was conducted to find out conditions and suggestions about the structure of a project within eTwining. The survey respondents were teachers of pedagogy and educational fields. Next, the researcher, author of the thesis, prototyped a project that was consequently reviewed by three teachers out of the survey respondents. Also, these teachers were interviewed for their opinions about the project prototype as well as about utilizing the project-based learning within eTwinning when teaching students of pedagody and its fields at high schools. The result of the research showed that high schools teaching fields of pedagody would have only minor issues with the project-based learning within eTwinning. Learning the Czech language in retirement age

DRTINOVÁ, Simona. Learning the Czech language in retirement age. Prague, 2013. Dissertation. Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Arts, Institute of Czech Language and Theory of Communication. This thesis deals with foreign language learning in retirement age from interdisciplinary perspective. Its characteristics may be limited economic activity, more free time and the potential occurrence of certain barriers caused by age. The case of foreigners in retirement age living in the Czech Republic and learning Czech will serve as an example of foreign language learning. The theoretical part of the thesis firstly defines old age together with the changes typical for the process of aging and old age: the changes are described on a physical, cognitive and social level. The thesis then goes on to address the process of learning with emphasis on foreign language learning. Selected components are mentioned within the pedagogical- psychological part of the learning process, specifically the motivation to learn, different organizational forms of education and teacher's role during the education.
