Potential of Small School

The dissertation Potential of Small Scholl deals with specific features of this kind of schools. The paper presents the role of small schools in the school system, mutual interaction at schools, distinctive forms of organization and methodical approaches aiming at defining particularities of this kind of school. We have drawn a comparison of a small school and an ordinary primary school based on two case studies. Differences which have been found out can define potential of both types of schools. The results of the research have brought us recognition that the potential of a small school is conditioned by its size and low numbers of pupils in classrooms. These conditions enable creating such learning environment that provides a pupil with specific performance of school attendance. Other significant aspects are mutual cooperation among pupils themselves as well as among teachers and parents within a small social group or implementation of schooling in mixed age groups which leads particularly to respect and acceptance of otherness and of pupils with specific educational needs. ABSTRACT: In the theoretical part of this work I was paid the most concise summary of scientific findings on the general theme of creativity and its separation from various angles. In the practical part, I then conducted research with Torranceho creativity tests, which aimed to identify and record the progress and development of creativity in a selected sample of students in primary school, which has been for four months, targeted action. Hypothesis only visible shift in receptive students has not been confirmed. Better test results were found for most students. It surpassed my expectations. Targeted activities for pupils and proved to be a suitable way of developing creativity.
Multileveled schooľs teacher specific qualities and professional preparation

The thesis titled Multileveled school's teachers specific qualities and professional preparation focuses on finding specific qualities of multileveled schools, qualities of their teachers in the area of professional competence and quality of institutions for training future teachers. The theoretical background is applied to the research section. Depth group interview, observation and analysis of written sources reveals the essence of teachers' work at multileveled school with all its specifics. Summarize the results and try to find the relations between the observed and the specifics of their qualities. Can not say unequivocally that the multileveled schools'specifics and specific teachers skills are quality guarantee. The teacher always depends his knowledge, skills, values, attitudes and personality traits and the initial training and continuing professional development, as consider the quality of their work and how to proceed further development. Even though specific teacher's job may be a part of a potential professional qualities that teachers want to develop.
Procedures for the development of literacy in terms of the small school

The subject of this thesis is the issue of the development of literacy skills of pupils in primary education through conditions offered by small schools. The aim is to analyze the possibility of developing reading literacy among pupils in the first grade of primary school in terms of the small schools; setup and subsequent use of good conditions for the development of reading. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are defined the theoretical background related to the above mentioned issues. Custom research was carried out through action research, completed a questionnaire that the children completed at the beginning and end of the period. The main objective was to determine the initial state of literacy in groups of pupils and through changes in education, the creation of good conditions and use innovative methods to monitor the process of the individual activities of students, capturing deficiencies and seek alternative approaches and solutions. In the practical part, I rely on knowledge of the direct teaching. I point out the difficulties that arose in their own activities with children. Colaboration between school and family in primary school

COOPERATION OF FAMILY AND SMALL SCHOOL WITH COMPOSITE CLASSES The thesis deals with the cooperation of family and small school with composite classes. The theoretical section deals with the typology and changes in family, family and school partnership, ideal setting of cooperation between family and school. It examines programmes of schools with area of cooperation being developed (Step by step and Parents are welcome). It looks for starting points that might be used at home school. The research section deals with a description of a small school with composite classes, where the graduant teaches. It also examines specificities of this school, the typology of students' families and at the same time it's also mapping the cooperation between school and family according to the programme Parents are welcome. It's trying to find the strategies for improving the cooperation with family. This is followed by the assessment from the viewpoints of author, parents, colleagues and a conclusions.
Marketing strategy of the village primary school management within the competitive background created by the town primary schools

The final thesis focuses on evaluating the marketing strategies of the village primary school management within the competitive background created by the town primary schools. One of the main points of the thesis is to enrich these strategies by means of executive directors' as well as my own experience. Other sources of such enrichment are the study literature and the available research knowledge as well as the knowledge of the chief pedagogical executives' final theses. In this respect, the marketing strategies should be posing a benefit for a classical village primary school to stand up to the challenging competitive struggle. The benefit from the thesis consists in using its conclusions by the village school headmasters as well as the institutors.
History and perspective of multilevelled school specified on Jicin region

The target of this diploma thesis has been to process the development of Multileveled School in Jičíněves (district of Jičín) and to demonstrate benefit of the acquired knowledge for school work. The theoretic part devotes to the study of Jičíněves school commemorative books and in a wider view also whole Jičín region. Insight into the development, present position and perspective of the elementary education in the Czech lands with the focus on multileveled schools goes before these chapters. Historic methods and document content analysis has been used for this work. The practice part describes the project realized with pupils of primary school age. Its target has been to acquaint the pupils with history of the school in Jičíněves through activated methods and to impress on their attitude to the school and the place they live. Survey of present situation and perspective of multileveled schools in Jičín region including the school in Jičíněves has been done through the questionnaires and interviews. Vitality of the multileveled schools has been evaluated by analysis of the result.
Introduction of acting lessons to school education plan in a small school

My diploma thesis deals with the implementation of drama education as a separate subject in the school system after 1990 and characterizes the transformation of schools, the changes in teacher training after 1990 and describes alternative schools that are important for changing the way of teaching in the school system. I also deal with the curriculum of the framework educational program, the characteristics of the school educational plan, drama education and small schools. In the practical part I describe the conditions for the implementation of drama education in the school curriculum of a small school and three ways how to implement this subject. As part of my work, I created a survey of parents' opinions and an interview with the principal to find out what the awareness of drama education is and whether there is an interest in it. I present the research results in the appendices. At the end of the thesis I summarized my research at a small school and the implementation of drama education in the school curriculum, it also contains a list of what is needed for such implementation and what was the result of my efforts at Kindergarden and Elementary school in Suchodol. Cooperation of teachers on small school with composite classes: case study

v anglickém jazyce ABSTRACT This thesis aims to analyze and describe how the cooperation of pedagogical workers in selected a Little Class School, how cooperation works in practice. The theoretical part deals mainly with characteristic of Little Class school in the Czech republic, further focuses on teacher's personality, on the school climate and its environment where pedagogical employees work together. In the last chapter of theoretical part, cooperation as a topic is mentioned. It defines the basic concepts that are related to cooperation between educators. These concepts include Little Class school, teacher personality, professional development, climate and school environment, cooperation. In the theoretical part, cooperation between teacher and teaching assistant is also mentioned. The empirical part of the thesis contains a case study of a selected a Little Class school and how the cooperation takes place at this school. In the diploma thesis, these collection methods were used: observation, interview and questionnaire. Following is an analysis of the data collected and an assessment of the situation.
