Internet Robot for an Assistance of Calendar Scheduling

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of the internet robot for assistance of calendar scheduling. The robot and a user comunicate with a subset of English. User does not have to study special syntax of the orders which makes using of the robot-calendar much simplier. This easement is the main contribution of the work. This kind of control should help especially to the users with lesser amount of computer skills, for whom the special syntax-oriented-control might be difficult. The XMPP protocol is used for a comunication which is of instant messaging type. NLTK toolkit was used for natural language processing. The source code of the robot is completely programmed in Python programming language. The work also deals with possibilities of robot's further development.
Smart Task Planner

Tato práce si klade za cíl vytvořit novou plánovací aplikaci, která kombinuje různé techniky správy času. Z hloubkového výzkumu správy času a průzkumu mezi potenciálními uživateli vyplynulo mnoho různých technik, které aplikace musí poskytnout, aby uspokojila různé potřeby uživatelů. Současné aplikace k tomuto účelu nestačí. Nová implementace kombinuje především seznam úkolů a kalendář, ale také podporuje návyky nebo Pomodoro techniku. Uživatel může přiřadit hodnoty projektům, značkám nebo úkolům, jako je priorita, termín nebo odhad. Tyto atributy jsou později použity v modelu strojového učení pro ohodnocení prvků, což umožňuje aplikaci navrhnout uživateli nejrelevantnější úkoly. Aplikace byla postavena pomocí multiplatformního rámce Flutter a uvolněna na App Store a Google Play. Vlastní synchronizační mechanismus pro data aplikace je využíván mezi databází Isar a serverem Appwrite. Uživatelem definované události mohou být také zobrazeny v lokálním kalendáři vybraném uživatelem pro synchronizaci.
Personal Timetabling

Despite all the advancements in Artificial Intelligence, we still do not have a broadly available application for automated scheduling of personal activities. The main difficulty in creating such an application is satisfying user's diverse expectations about time organization. In this study we focused on creating a tool that can help users with organizing their time. We designed a model for describing personal activities with user preferences. We formulated scheduling of personal activities as an optimization problem for which we designed and implemented a solving algorithm, aiming to schedule activities with precision of seconds. We created a prototype of web-calendar application powered by this model and an algorithm which we designed with the focus on ability to clearly display user's time and easily insert activities for automated scheduling. Web Conference Calendar

A scientific article can only be submitted to one conference. The purpose of this work is to create a web application which will aid in determining where a given article can still be submitted, using mainly a graphical diagram. The text itself first provides a detailed specification of the problem, then it discusses the choice of individual technologies and the general implementation approach. The following section then briefly describes some implementation details and suggests areas for expansion of the project. The last chapter is dedicated to technical and licensing considerations. The result of the work is a working web application designed for use in academic circles and for further refinement.
Workgroup Planning Application

This thesis describes design and implementation of a tool that supports workgroup planning. The system allows its users to manipulate their tasks, as well as supports collaboration of more users. The user interface of the application is based on lightweight web client. The application is modular, so that the enhancing of the application in the future will be as simple as possible.
Astronomical grounds of calendars in different historical periods and cultures

The main goal of this work is to describe calendars of various countries, and that both calendars, which are used until these days, and calendars of perished civilizations or calendars, which were abandoned by their users because during ages they had preferred another calendar. This work is for everyone, who would like to be informed, how our calendar was originated, why he contains some things which are illogical from our point of view such as the irregularity of the length of months. It also tries to show the way how the calendars were created, how they were refinement, but also that the calendar we use most, the Gregorian calendar, is not still perfect. First chapter wants to explain to reader, what is the lunar, solar and lunisolar calendar. In second chapter are described calendars of the eldest known Mediterranean civilizations in the context of antique literary creation. Third chapter is dedicated to the world's most widespread Gregorian calendar, the circumstances of his rise by correcting the Julian calendar, about his acceptance in world and about the lunar point in this otherwise solar calendar, namely the calculation of Easter. Theoretical-practical thesis which focuses on the historical development of a calendar and on its own realization. Theoretical part starts with a definition of a term calendar, characterizes basic units used for compiling calendars and also describes divisions of calendar systems. Subsequently the thesis pays attention to the oldest calendars, from all sorts of prehistoric time recording devices, to the highly developed Mayan systems. There is also an outline of the development of calendars, which are used in the modern era. In the practical part the author deals with the design and the realization of her own calendar. Thesis is accompanied by picture attachments and photo documentation.
Mathematical principles of calendars and their visualization

This bachelor thesis covers mathematical principles of selected types of calendars Julian and Gregorian These were selected because of long-term history of usage in our country and its predecessors. Comparison of calendar types is covered. There is described how to create the table of Gregorian and Julian calendar and derivations of Easters. There is also computer application for calculating these aspects and demonstration of these principles. This application algorithm is designed with the aim of uncovering parts of calculations and therefore it can be used for studying these principles. Calendar Application With User Friendly Interface

This thesis describes the process of creating a calendar application featuring an effective and user friendly interface. The first step is an analysis of existing calendar applications on various platforms. Then the calendar data standard is explored, together with good practices for user interface design. The analysis is followed by designing the calendar application. The design process consists of calendar library design, graphical interface design and structural interface design. The resulting application, implemented in C++ using Qt framework, is tested.
Personal Calendar PHP

This thesis aims to time management. The goal is to design and implement web application for simpler and easy-to-use managing of personal time. For this, the application uses calendars, To-Do lists, dividing of bigger task into subtasks or analyzing of spent time. The PHP framework named Symfony was used for implementation of the application with use of object-relation mapping, that is provided by the PHP library Doctrine and uses MySQL database. The CSS and JavaScript technologies were used for better graphical design and dynamism of work with application.
