Vitality in the architectonic environment
Eyer, David ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Hudec, Mojmír (referee) ; Kyselka, Mojmír (referee) ; Žabičková, Ivana (advisor)
More and more research studies are being conducted on the quality of architectural space as a factor affecting our mental, social and physical health. In the past, this topic was often overlooked in its complexity. The establishment of the specialized fields of building biology, biophilic architecture and the works of Christopher Alexander and Nikos Salingaros now allow us to consider various facets of this subject. This dissertation aims to analyse the topic of vitality in architectural space by studying the abilities and perceptions of its users. Therefore its aim is not to develop a new theory of “vitality-enhancing architectural space”, but to describe how this phenomenon is perceived by the users themselves. Users can provide feedback on which features of architectural space they see as the most important for the feeling of vitality. These features have been hierarchically organized based on their perceived importance, analysed and described in detail to allow their relatively easy application in practice. This dissertation will also allow a comparison with other existing works on the studied topic.
Artistic influences and news Interaction and influence between artistic creation and news formats
Zandálková, Marie ; Solčáni, Ján (referee) ; Čermák, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the production of an "intuitive" news format, the form of which responds to the general flood and information flood to which news recipients are exposed. The creative process consisted of recycling the published information for two reasons. The first was the intention not to contribute to information and sensory noise. The second was the intention to transform intelligence information into a form that takes away its intensity and the character of the "stressor". The creation of a personal "remix" of information was governed by procedures based on surrealist and Dadaist traditions. The key was not a pre-created concept, but intuition. The aim was to find a more intimate treatment of information, whether public or personal, to create a meditative medium from overwhelming. The work builds on an experiment with audiovisual and textual means of expression.

The Students themselves - Student Center Poříčí
Veselá, Marie ; Látalová, Lucie (referee) ; Havliš, Karel (advisor)
The students themselves - Student Center Poříčí Waterfront with views of the city center, the hotel representative in the neighborhood and the traffic load over the streets of Vídeňská. Two opposites, which are daily faced a common corner. While I listened to the dialogue and decided to try to accommodate both "parties". The proposed building is therefore towards the river "looks" and along the streets of Vienna "running out". Horizontally curved strip of floor follow the flow of ambient life - throughout the building causing a glass surface feeling slowdown or stoppage, then head of the belts diverge and height glazing is reduced to the standard, so the speed increases and becomes a facade passerby more inaccessible. Containers with shaping gain more privacy and a wider cut views of the surrounding area. Broken facade indicates heart rate, not only outside but also the interior, where the dominant feature of the central corridor and provides insights into the other floors, the play of light and effectively slows down and speeds up the movement in the building. The unifying element is the central staircase cascaded current on all floors.
The Personal Motif
Vlčková, Tamara ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Rathouský, Luděk (advisor)
In my bachelor work I focus on intimate communication. I am interested in the moment of detection and in a simple question: What makes sense? I'm interested in everyday situations and in a human body, which I display in different social situations and personal dialogue - with the audience, work, and man. The main motives of my drawings are personal stories that remind familiar stories, and transmit such information, which audience accepts and transforms in its own way. Important is a constellation of people and things, and also attitude, a gesture that creates the story. I mix reality, dreams, ideas, and questions - choosing aspects I tend to think about, that touch my feelings or that I fear. Equally important is the installation, where a personal space for watching drawings will be kept.
Thermal baths Yverdon, five senses in architecture
Křížová, Iveta ; Křikavová, Iva (referee) ; Koleček, Ivan (advisor)
The aim of this work is the solution spa area includes Yverdon les Bains. The existing facility does not meet both their needs, but mainly it is very closed. Park is closed to the public and within his right in the spa area there are several other barriers. Spa Park means to me park, promenade, people moving and elegance. At this point I feel the potential that could reopen the spa park outside world and effortlessly be connected to the outside world, with reference to its historical and thermal value. Therefore, I leave the pit area as much free, with public functions. The spa itself would not be contrary overload the body, but rather a place to stop and peaceful rest. That is why I put myself into a compact mass flowing above the park, which leave the most relaxed movement of people and devote themselves intimacy baths, views of the surroundings and contact with water, the sky opened atrium. Its shape and facade of the building creates a barrier, but rather is permeable and in contact with their surroundings and park.
Social work for people with mental disabilities focused on support in relationships
Smiešková, Dorota ; Kolářová, Marta (advisor) ; Janečková, Hana (referee)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to present social work in the field of sexuality and relationships as one of the approaches to support people with mental disabilities in their integration into everyday life. The theoretical part describes the approach to the sexuality of persons with disabilities and discusses the attitude of the Rytmus - from the client to the citizen, z.ú. It focuses on the explanation of individual concepts important for the examined field, the tools used, associated with specific examples from practice when working with service users. The practical part presents qualitative research, the purpose of which is to identify the impact the support for people with intellectual disabilities in sexuality, intimacy and relationships has on their inclusion in everyday life, and how they can benefit from such support. The research was carried out on two levels - in the form of interviews with selected users of the service, as well as with workers - sexual confidants who provide such advice. The conclusions of the qualitative research showed that support in the field of relationships has a positive effect on the overall experience of clients, strengthens the feeling of one's own value and place in the society.
In the process
Volková, Markéta ; Velická, Erika (referee) ; Korbička, Pavel (advisor)
My bachelor's thesis is an object responding to the space that surrounds it. It points out the contradiction between organic and austere form. In my work, I materialize abstract experiences through metonymically selected building elements related to the places in which I have these experiences. As an extraction of elements appearing in the architecture of the Southern Mediterranean, a form of ornament appears in the work, which is understood by a figurative comparison to the experience of travelling on holiday. Another element, representing a figurative experience of returning "to reality", are the lux spheres. Their character is linked to the architecture of Central Europe. I explore the relationship between the different types of buildings, which I then freely develop. My perception of reality enhances the recognition of the new with the already known. I let the objects represent and capture these two opposing perceptions with implications and emphasis on their differences. In this way, I come to find in my work a similarity between geometric austerity, which signifies perfectionism, and the intuitive unfolding of ornament, which inserts the theme of organicity into the object. An important aspect of the thesis is processuality. I understand my work as a border between conceptual and intuitive process.
A pilot study of efficiency of cognitive behavioral treatment on pacients with anxiety disorders with special focus on intimacy
Hanušová, Nikola ; Preiss, Marek (advisor) ; Klusák, Miroslav (referee)
In my master's thesis, I investigate the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy on patients with anxiety disorders, with a specific focus on the area of intimacy. I examine changes in personality functioning, differences between the control and experimental groups, the influence of program completion under different conditions, and the impact of socio-demographic variables. The pilot study subjects are patients who completed the program in Ward 1 or attended the day clinic at the National Institute of Mental Health. The patients underwent a six- week cognitive-behavioral therapy program with elements that focus on intimacy. Interviews were conducted with patients at the beginning and end of the program to monitor changes in personality functioning. The research tools STiP 5.1 and LPFS-BF 2.0 were used for measurement. The results were subsequently compared with respondents from the intact population (currently not undergoing any psychotherapeutic or psychiatric treatment) who underwent interviews at the same time intervals. It was found that it is possible to measure disruptions in personality functioning of anxious patients based on STiP 5.1 and LPFS-BF 2.0, which differ from the personality functioning of the intact population. Based on the comparison of the first and second assessments of...
