Creating a safe classroom climate by methods of drama education for beginning groups of students

The diploma thesis focuses on the creation of a safe classroom climate by methods of dramatic education for a beginning group of pupils. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate whether the methods of drama education contribute to the creation of a safe climate in the classroom. In the theoretical part, I will define the concept of classroom climate, school climate and mention here the main actors involved in its creation. The second half of the theoretical part focuses on drama education. The aim of this part is to map suitable methods of this education that contribute to building a safe climate. I devote the practical part to the preparation of several lessons for a group of fourth-year students who have no experience with drama education. Part of the practical part are specific lessons and their reflections, which record the development of the starting group. At the very end, there will be a comparison of the classroom climate before the introduction of drama education methods and after the implementation of individual lessons. To develop this part, I will choose a qualitative form of research, specifically the interview method with the class teacher. The interview will be conducted in two forms. Mapping a concept of classroom lessons of sixth and ninth grades of lower-secondary schools

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the course of classroom lessons in the sixth and ninth grades of primary schools in the South Bohemian Region. The theoretical part works with professional literature that describes the form of the classroom lesson, the role of the classroom teacher, teaching assistant, prevention methodology and educational consultant within the framework of the classroom, and last but not least, it also focuses on the specifics of the age of the sixth and ninth grades. The practical part works with the results of a questionnaire survey. The aim of the thesis is to map the concept of classroom lessons, and to compare the real situation with recommendations in professional literature.
The impact of school bullying on a child's school performance

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to analyse the impact of bullying on school achievement. The thesis is designed as a theoretical-practical one. The theoretical part describes the issue of bullying, the topic of school success and the impact of bullying on school success. The practical part describes the research conducted to find out what impact personal experience of bullying had on the school success of victims of bullying. A sub-objective was to formulate recommendations for victims of bullying regarding prevention and management of school failure associated with the experience of bullying. The research sample consisted of five female students aged 17-25 years who experienced bullying in elementary school. Interviews were conducted with these communication partners. The results are presented in the form of case studies. Contacts to professionals who deal with the topic were provided as part of the proposed recommendations. The importance of confiding in the bully or at least finding a functional way to survive bullying in the role of a victim was pointed out.
Implementation of Ethic Education as a Supplementary Educational Subject at primary school

This PhD thesis describes the ways of implementing the supplementary educational subject of ethics education into the educational system in Czech society. The primary focus is on the teaching of prosocial behaviour at primary school. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the redudant repeating background of the PhD thesis topic was collected. Prosocial behaviour was defined as positive social behaviour with active participation in solving a specific life situation, where helping others is not connected with the expectation of reward. The presented methods of socialization of pupils were divided into directive and recommended non-directive methods promoting a positive classroom climate. Characteristics of moral growth in younger school-age students were viewed from several criteria. The concept of ethical education in curriculum documents in the Czech Republic and abroad was characterized. The empirical part describes qualitative research with a case study design. Data collection was carried out by direct observation, semi-structured interviews and analysis of school artefacts. The changes of elementary school climate caused by the remote schooling

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of changing the climate of class collectives caused by remote schooling. The research investigation deals with the connections between the functioning of class teams today and the social ties between students that have been disrupted by remote schooling. It deals with climatic types of the school environment, their positives and negatives. It clarifies the roles of individual school positions and explains competencies and the possibilities of influence of these posts on influencing the class climate. In the last part of the theoretical part, he outlines the possibilities of diagnostic investigations in the school environment and the selection for the research investigation of this work. The research was carried out using a quantitative questionnaire survey in the form of an electronic questionnaire with closed questions. The respondents were pupils of the 8th year of elementary school. The survey results were interpreted using pie charts and commented. Answers that deviated from the average of other respondents were compared with other answers of specific respondents, entered in a graph and subsequently commented on. Utilizing a positive social climate in the classroom through drama education

The bachelor thesis Creating a positive social climate in the classroom through drama education finds out how drama education can be used to create a favorable environment in the kindergarten classroom. The theoretical part deals with the social climate of the classroom, its factors important for creating a favorable kindergarten environment, also refers to the characteristics of drama education, its function in preschool education (especially in developing children's personal and social skills) and its need for teachers. The practical part of the work pays attention to the possibilities of working with these activities in kindergarten. A project was developed and implemented, which included prepared dramatic activities that encourage children's creativity, imagination, empathy, teamwork, mutual respect, friendly classroom atmosphere, etc. The research was based on qualitative research, specifically on the methods of the participant. observations, video recordings, interviews as feedback to the implemented project and own knowledge and notes. The research sample was children and a kindergarten teacher. Based on the project, it was found that drama education is very beneficial for the social climate of the classroom.
