Autonomous RC ship model
Jevická, Barbora ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with working on development kit, which is used for RC ship model. The basis are programmable Nucleo STM32 microcontrollers, to which other used modules are connected. The goal is to test each component and create system for navigation of the ship and wireless communication between controller and ship. GPS module and compass are used to navigate and determine the direction of the ship. Controller and ship can communicate through bidirectional wireless modules with antenna. The RC ship model can be switched between manual and autonomous modes. The main result of this thesis is autonomous movement of the ship on to a predetermined GPS coordinates and parallel communication with the user.
Central unit of the wireless sensors network
Ptáček, Zdeněk ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with function and control description of wireless communication circuit nRF24L01+ and its possible use for the creation of local wireless sensor network of star topology. Further studies of the function of sensor network and designs the central control unit for measured data collecting. At the same time discusses the possibility of the battery supply and system optimization.
Smart Home Control
Fučík, Jan ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the subject of intelligent homes and describes commonly used standards and commercial solutions on the market. The thesis covers the design of a low-cost and easy to use smart home system which can be managed over the internet, uses a genetic algorithm for heating regulation optimization and its central computing unit is a low-cost, embedded device with low power consumption. The functionality of the system is verified on a practical application of heating regulation in a house. The efficacy of the system for energy savings is shown; it is based on measured data statistics.
Wireless communication module in 868 MHz band with MESH network support
Uhlíř, Marcel ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of a wireless communication module that allows communication in the unlicensed band at the frequency of 868 MHz. The designed module can be easily implemented in various types of embedded devices using SMT technology. This communication module consists of a low-power radio frequency transmitted, balancing element, impedance matching, radio antenna and electromagnetic shielding. Communication between the embedded device and the wireless communication module is realized using the SPI interface and configurable GPIOs. Part of this work is the proposed firmware library, which operates the wireless communication module and allows communication in peer-to-peer mode and in MESH network mode. A procedure for its creation and management is created as part of the MESH network. The use of this work is directed to the field of control and sensor systems with application in automation.
Wireless meteostation
Holain, Martin ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is a design of the amateurish wireless weather station which is used to measure temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure and velocity and direction of air flow. Part of this thesis also describes design of a device intended for display, processing and storage of actual measured data obtained from weather station.
CCD camera with wirelles interface
Hynčica, Tomáš ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The work is dealing with the problem of wireless transfer of visual information from CCD camera. A circuit board for the camera interface is designed and realized. The wireless communication is based on the IEEE 802.15.4. Software for components of the system is developed.
Electronic business card/price tag with wireless communication
Sirůček, Václav ; Sýkora, Tomáš (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the design of an electronic business card, a portable imaging device that will display data about the wearer (name, surname, phone number and email). Claims are for long-term battery life and remote display of data on an electronic ink display. At work there is a solution for powering the product with a display and its wireless communication with the computer or phone. It also deals with battery status displays, display updates, circuit schematics, electronic business card case design and final realization.
Temperature and humidity monitoring devices with wirelless communication
Hrbáček, Zdeněk ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to design and implement a device for collecting temperature and humidity from bee hive. The system consists of a measuring unit that contains digital sensors and actuators. The system transmits the measured values wirelessly to the parent unit, which displays the data in a suitable format to the user. The user can monitor the hive parameters and use the actuators to adjust the temperature inside the hive. The whole system then operates autonomously according to defined rules.
Identification and Decoding of Wireless Communication Using SDR
Matulka, Filip ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create the system that uses concept of software defined radio. This system is capable of automatically identifying the communication parameteres and subsequent decoding of wireless communication. The thesis focus on the wireless system operationg in unlicened frequency band and cosidering fundamental modulation metods. The result is tested on two independent wireless systems that verify ability to automatically identify the communication parameters.
Vision system implementation on Bioloid robot
