Measurement of basic electrical variables on drives of LV circuit breakers
Mazálek, Tomáš ; Valenta, Jiří (referee) ; Bušov, Bohuslav (advisor)
This thesis has been created for the purpose of comparing calculated values by oscilloscope and by Excel. For this it was necessary to show a theory of electrical values of non-sinusoidal and aperiodic signal. There has been shown the methods of measuring of power consumption on motor operator for acquisition of relevant data. My thesis brings a wide overview, which is connected with motor operators. I am analyzing a principle of motor operator, methods of right measuring and I am describing a transfer of kinetic energy from driving motor to contacts of circuit breaker.
Ambiguity, Vagueness, Fuzziness in Technical/Scientific Texts

Measurement uncertainties in calibration of vibration sensors
Pražák, Jiří ; Uher, Miroslav (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This thesis deals with the research of uncertainties of the vibration sensor calibration measurement. The analysis of individual calibration methods of vibration sensors is also carried out in this thesis. Next, measurement of uncertainties for secondary calibration of the vibration sensors are analysed. The experimental part of this work is focused on determining the influence of different elements to type A uncertainty of vibration sensors uncertainty calculation. Experimental measurement was performed in an accredited laboratory for measurement and calibration of vibration sensors at FEEC BUT. Calculation of uncertainties of secondary calibration is also carried out in this thesis.
Uncertainty of Measurement Estimation of Mean Monthly Flows Values of the Selected Hydrometric Station at the Svitava River Catchment Area
Paseka, Stanislav ; Janál,, Petr (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
Currently, a sizes of the time series elements of average monthly flows uncertainty are not taken into account in more detail and it does not know the estimation of their sizes. The above mentioned fact could ultimately affected the design and operation of large open water reservoirs. This bachelor's thesis deals with the uncertainty of measurement estimation of the mean monthly flows which have derived in the measuring profile Prostřední Poříčí in the Křetínka river in the Svitava river basin. Evaluation is done using a measured values of water level stages and a stage-discharge relation curve. The basis for design of uncertainty affected stage-discharge curves and water lavel stages the Monte Carl method is used. The outcome values of random flows are further evaluated using the statistical methods in the form of the statistical characteristics and presented as uncertainties of mean monthly flows.
AI Algorithms
Petrželka, Jan ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This master's thesis describes artificial intelligence algorithms based on the book Artificial Inteligence: A Modern Approach by S. Russel and P. Norvig and implementation of the algorithms in the Squeak Smalltalk programming language with object oriented approach. Algorithms are based on pseudocode in the book and existing implementations in Lisp, Python and Java language. Main concepts are intelligent agents, agent simulation environments, state space search, game playing, planning, uncertainty and learning.
Primary Calibration of Acoustic Emission Sensors
Keprt, Jiří ; Mazal, Pavel (referee) ; Hájek, Karel (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the doctoral thesis is the problem of the primary calibration of acoustic emission sensor. In the introductory chapters, there are the results from the study of literature in field of AE and primary calibration of AE sensor summarized. The practical part of the thesis is aimed on realization of the primary calibration of AE sensors by different methods. The standardized methods of step function calibration and reciprocity calibration were practically realized as a part of the research on the same aparature. The method of reciprocity calibration with wideband excitation was practically realized too. The comparison between results from each used method was realized and the influences of the different sources of uncertainty and the different configuration of the calibration aparature on the step function calibration and the reciprocity calibration were determined. The uncertainties were determined for each realized methods. The recommendations for the calibration by the different methods on the available calibration aparature were presented. All the proceses of the reciprocity primary calibration was automated by the programmed software and the channel switcher. The UT 1000 (s.n. 169) by Physical Acoustic Corporation was used as the calibrated sensor for the comparison of the results of the calibrations.
Uncertainty Analysis of Hydrological and Operating Parameters on Water Management Analysis of Reservoir Storage Capacity
Paseka, Stanislav ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to introduce the concept of Monte Carlo method for incorporating the uncertainties into the all hydrological and operational data inputs, which are needed to design and operation of large open water reservoir. Incorporating uncertainties into data inputs during calculation of reservoir storage capacity, then the consequent active conservation storage capacity is loaded by uncertainties. In the same way the values of outflow water from reservoir and hydrological reliability are affected by these uncertainties as well. For these kind of calculations the reservoir simulation model has been used, which simulate behavior operation of reservoir and is able to evaluate the results of simulations and help to reduction risk of storage capacity failure, respectively reduction of water shortages during reservoirs operation during low water and dry periods.
Uncertainty estimation of reservoir storage capacity in first stage of design preparation
Oulehla, Pavel ; Paseka, Stanislav (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is the estimation of reservoir storage capacity uncertainty. The input uncertainty is defined by the inaccuracy of the altitude geographic data. Using the appropriate altitude measuring and the estimated errors of the measurement, the change in the area – volumes curves is described as weel as its value of uncertainty. Afterwords the storage capacity loaded by batymetric curves uncertainty is calculated. Furthermore the uncertainty of the reservoir filling height has been quantified. For these kind of calculations the reservoir simulation model has been used, Monte Carlo method, to generate random values of the batygraphic curve has been used too. Expression of uncertainties when calculating the storage capacity can help to reduction risk of storage capacity failure, respectively reduction of water shortages during reservoirs operations during critical dry periods.
