Single mothers and their children - the group on the edge of poverty?
Vzhledem k nemožnosti uspokojovat všechny své potřeby trpí deprivací, jejíž následky si nesou do budoucna. Annotation The aim of this study is to address single mothers. Single mothers and their children are usually in poor financial condition and threatened with poverty and social exclusion. They are unable to meet their basic needs which effect...

There is a description of the cooperation of an occupational therapist and a special educationalist and a description of applied occupational therapy in selected areas and of selected diagnoses. The selected areas are put together according to the subdisciplines of special education. The diagnoses are determined on the basis of the most common cooperation of both occupations. The main aim of the dissertation is the analysis of the possibilities of cooperation and its use in practice. There is also evaluation of questionnaires which were made for the purpose of this dissertation. The respondents were occupational therapists and special educationalists and their answers mirror the real position of both branches in practice. The result of the survey is lack of cooperation which should be improved in the future in order to enhance the quality of therapeutic treatment.
