Incoming tourism to Vietnam

The main aim of this work is to analyse the development of incoming tourism in Vietnam and subsequently evaluate the commercialization of this destination. In the theoretical part of the work we will find the definition of theoretical concepts from the field of tourism, such as tourism, visitor, destinations or primary and secondary tourism supply, a large portion is also paid to the typology of tourism. The practical part is in the first part devoted to characteristics of Vietnam, in terms of economy, culture, history and, of course, from the perspective of the attractions and amenities of tourism destinations. In the following section the evolution of inbound tourism, the impact of incoming tourism on the gross domestic product and unemployment and the expenditure of foreign tourists is analysed. The fourth chapter contains the survey focused on perception and awareness of the Czechs about Vietnam and on their potential interest in travelling to this country.

Statistical analysis of the incoming tourism development in the Czech Republic and its prospects

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the incoming tourism in the Czech Republic. The analysis itself evaluates the number of non-resident visitors in accommodation facilities between the years 1998 and 2014 and it evaluates the quarterly division of the visits in accommodation facilities since the year 2012 and the prognosis for the following years, too. Next the thesis focuses on the tourism consumption, which means the income from this sector flowing into the government budget. Last but not least the balance of payments in Czech tourism and its comparison with selected Central European countries is pointed out. The outcomes of this work are suggestions and recommendations for improving the situation of the incoming tourism in the Czech Republic. The evaluation of the results was made on the basis of time series and index analysis, the data was taken from the materials provided by the Czech Statistical Office and the Ministry of Regional Development.
Statistical analysis of the incoming tourism development in the Czech Republic and its prospects

This thesis deals with the development of incoming tourism in the Czech Republic. Monitoring of the development of incoming tourism is focused on the period 2005-2015. Obtained data from the Czech Statistical Office and the Ministry for Regional Development were further statistically processed using time series. A part of this work is the analysis of tourism, concretely comparing the number of collective accommodation establishments, participation of non-residents in these facilities both in the Czech Republic and individual regions, focus on the choice of accommodation units by category and the level of the building, participation of seasonal tourists and the influence of tourism on the economy of the state. The work especially focuses on the ratio of tourism in the country's GDP and its annual changes. In the given indicators the attention is also subsequently focused on possible recommendations to improve specific issues that might lead in the future to the fact, that the data will not differ so much in individual seasons.
Tourism in central region of Czech Republic and Prague

The BA thesis focuses on analyzing the inbound tourism in the Central Bohemian Region and Prague. The theoretical section presents a general characteristic of tourism, basic concepts of tourism, its forms, types, and services. The practical section analyzes data using mathematic-statistic methods. Firstly, an analysis is made of the turnout in collective accommodation facilities from 2005 to 2015 in terms of foreign and domestic guests, as well as the total number of cantoned in the two regions. Concerning the number of tourists who visited collective accommodation facilities, a future estimate for 2016 is examined. Further analyzed is the development in the number of accommodation facilities in the Central Bohemian Region and Prague. Subsequently, the turnout in accommodation facilities based on nationality is provided.
The motives of selected travel segments for the visit to the Czech Republic

This Ph.D. thesis is aimed at inbound tourism in the Czech Republic, analysis of statistical data and their development in the period of years 2004 -- 2013, characteristics of the main source markets for the Czech Republic, and analysis of motives regarding participants of outbound tourism to the Czech Republic in the observed countries. The principal aim is to analyze and compare intensity of motives of the selected geographic, demographic, socio-economic, and behavioral segments for visits to the Czech Republic. An integral part of the aim is to suggest further possibilities of the motivation research and their exploitation in the marketing practice of the tourism industry. The author defines all theoretical terms closely connected with the tourism market segmentation, motives and motivations to travel including interesting view of them throughout history. It is evident that the travel motives influenced by various factors are differentiated parallely with the human society development. The author characterizes the Czech Republic destination offer and evaluates its inbound tourism in the period of years 2004 -- 2013 by means of 4 main indicators: number of guests, number of overnight stays, average length of stay, foreign currency incomes. The author also evaluates the researches focused on perception of the Czech Republic abroad that was carried out by the institutions representing the Czech Republic abroad. The detailed analysis of travel motivations was performed by the author herself in the form of questionnaires. Results of these analyses bring impulses to other possibilities of the research in the field of inbound tourism not only in the academic sphere but also in research work of state and public authorities, and in practice when creating tourism products and communications mix.
The creation of the tour according to the type (form) of the tourism

The aim of this thesis was to create an untraditional incoming tourism original tour based on the demand of the foreign travel agency which consists of a recognizing mainly of the South Moravian region and a staying in Priessnitz's health resort in Jesenik with a wellness program. The South Moravia is very attractive region as well as mentioned helth resort. This thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part basic terms are characterized, the tour is created in the second part. The whole thesis is summarized in the conclusion and also a few maps, pictures and a table are added for the addition of this issue.
Analysis of the region Vysočina as the tourist destination

Tourism was realized very rarely a few decades ago. Today it is a significant part of the world's GDP and has become a major economic factor. The Czech Republic is a very attractive country in the heart of Europe with numerous natural, historical and cultural values. The tourist region Vysočina can boast all these qualities, yet one of the least visited region in the Czech Republic. This thesis deals with a detailed analysis of the potential of the tourist region Vysočina to become a competitive tourist destination. The aim of this work is to analyze primary and secondary tourism field and to assess the organizational structure of tourism and promotional activities of tourism operators with an emphasis on planned projects. The author's own research, focused on the general opinion on the issue of tourism in the region and on the evaluation of the tourism offer, is a part of this work as well. The benefit of the thesis lies in the overall recovery of the tourist supply and in making the region more attractive which can contribute to potential subsequent increased and mobilizing demand for tourism in Vysočina.
Analysis of inbound tourism in Austria

Bachelor thesis will focus on the country of Central Europe -- Austria. The topic of this thesis is the analysis of inbound tourism in Austria. The first part will define concepts such as tourism, inbound tourism, GDP, destination etc. and chosen destination will be described. The theoretical part will deal with the influence of tourism on the economy of Austria. The practical part will be devoted to analysis and statistics disclosing the share of tourism on the total Austria GDP and showing the number of overnights stays in Austria and the comparison of the summer and winter season.
Inbound tourism to Istanbul

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is Inbound tourism to Istanbul. The main aim of the theoretical part of this paper is introducing Turkey as a country with many opportunities. The biggest part is focused on the city of Istanbul which generates a great share of the country's income, mostly from the tourism sector. In the practical part of my bachelor's thesis I will evaluate the demand and the supply of products and services of tourism in Istanbul, I will analyse incoming foreign tourists according to various criteria and I will create a SWOT analysis of the city. The end of this thesis will be focused on suggestions and recommendations for a positive future development of tourism in the city.
