The impact of educational activities of selected NGOs in the CR on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society

In my Master thesis, I deal with the impact of educational activities of selected NGOs on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society. The thesis is both theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the process of immigrant integration and with the role of the governmental and non-profit organizations. A large part is devoted to the migrant children's education and to the difficulties which they have and must overcome. The end of the theoretical part presents the educational activities of selected non-profit organizations, which focus not only on helping migrant children, but also on working with schools and families of the children. The empirical part examines the impact of specific educational activities realized at the community center InBáze on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society. Current labour migration to the Czech Republic: The synthetic study of integration models of the third country nationals

TITLE: CURRENT LABOUR MIGRATION TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC: THE SYNTHETIC STUDY OF INTEGRATION MODELS OF THE THIRD COUNTRY NATIONALS The aim of the thesis is to describe a process of an integration of eight groups of third country nationals in Czech society by using findings of several researches conducted in Czechia since the late nineties of the 20th century. The information about immigrants from Russia, Ukraine, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Arabic countries and about immigrants from countries of Sub-Saharan Africa are structured in accordance with a concept of integration as a multidimensional process, suggested by Friedrich Heckmann and Wolfgang Bosswick. The work reveals a high internal diversity of researched groups in terms of a type of a residence permit which individuals possess, socioeconomic attributes, phase in a life cycle of individual, relationship of individual to the country of origin and his or her future plans about settlement in Czechia. These diversities are reflected in a number of different patterns and levels of integration of compatriots in a spatial, structural, cultural, interactive and identification dimension of integration. From assimilation to integration. The example of new integration policies.

Presented bachelor thesis deals with the evolution of migration policies of France from the classical assimilationist model to the concept of civic integration of foreigners of today. The first part of the work introduces basic terms connected to migration and integration policy, theories and concepts concerned with migration and integration of immigrants into the majority society. The second part is dedicated to the models of migration policies and to the examples of countries executing these policies. This part also describes a common shift in migration policies of immigration countries towards the new model of civic integration. The third part provides an introduction to the context of migration history of France with accent to immigration in the 20th century and then mentions migration and integration policies formerly and nowadays. By this, it demonstrates the shift of Frech migration policies in accordance to the common trend in immigration countries.
Volunteering options in non-governmental organisations active in the social field, with a focus on integration of foreigners

Thesis focuses on the voluntary programs implemented in non-governmental organizations working in the social sector, focusing on the integration of foreigners. The main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of voluntary programs aimed at the integration of foreigners living in the Czech Republic in the short term. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The objective is theorizing volunteering in the Czech Republic in its essence and forms, to describe the status of foreigners in Czech society and describe social services aimed at integrating foreigners. The survey deals with the society´s points of views on volunteering in the social sector, social services and analysis of accredited and non-accredited volunteer programs aimed at integrating foreigners in the Hradec Kralove region and evaluation of the effectiveness of voluntary programs focused on integration of foreigners in the short term residing in the Hradec Kralove region. The result is a proposal to improve the efficiency of integration of immigrants through social services, especially social services professional counseling and social rehabilitation accompanied by an accredited volunteer program.

This master thesis focuses on the actual problematic of contemporary migration phenomenon and its consequences for the Czech Republic. The aim of the theoretical part is to outline migration patterns in the Czech Republic since the end of the World War II up to the present-day situation, summarize the legislative framework which encompasses the legal stay of the foreigners in the Czech Republic and overview the actual integration Policy and its application. The paper examines in particular the conditions for the non EU nationals, in particular the people with Vietnamese or Ukrainian origin. The aim of the research part is to explore closely the above mentioned nationalities, their integration mechanisms and life conditions in the Czech Republic.
The provision of social services on the example of the integration of foreigners

The thesis deals with the provision of social services on the example of the integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the role played by nongovernmental organizations in providing social services in the integration of foreigners and the problems they face. The theoretical part of the work focuses on the characteristics of social services, their legislative basis and the area for financing social services. The thesis then examines the development of migration policy in the Czech Republic, the concept of state in the integration of foreigners and the role of different actors of social integration of foreigners. Analytical part examines the role of nongovernmental organizations that provide services for foreigners in their integration into society. Analysis was performed on the example of the Centre for Integration of Foreigners in Prague. On the basis of the findings was defined the role of nongovernmental organizations and the problems associated with providing services in the integration of foreigners.
The institutional framework of foreigners integration in the Czech Republic

Diploma thesis dedicated to the integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic is mainly focused on the usefulness and application of integration policy through the institutions dealing with socio-economic integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic. Integration strategies of foreigners in the Czech Republic are examined only very briefly and there is an open field for the many unanswered questions. The work consists of theoretical and practical part, while the theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of the current state of integration policy in the Czech Republic, highlighting the progress and shortcomings of the integration process. Moreover it examines integration policy key institutions on the state and local level that are an integral part of integration. Last but not least it discusses non profit organizations which play within the integration process crucial role. The practical part is focused on the ongoing projects of integration of foreigners at local level. Particularly to the integration project of Pilsen called Integration of foreigners in local government level and the ongoing project of nonprofit organization Slovo 21 - Next door family. Its attempt to create a genuine integration model aims to enable learning through direct contact between the families of foreigners and Czech families.
Foreigners and the process of social-economic integration in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis is devoted to an analysis of foreigners integration in the Czech Republic as one of the most discussed problems afflicting European territory. Inflow of immigrants coming to Czech Republic is raising rapidly and without having a proper conception of the integration policy, they will never have a chance to integrate fully to the Czech society. The main aim is to introduce and review the strategy, conception and deficiencies of that policy as well as to show the unsubstitutable role of state in this process. For better understanding thesis discusses administrative barriers, legislation, financing and importance of local level. Last but not least, it explains the necessity of non-profit associations and evaluates its efficiency. While it concentrates on the Czech integration policy, the thesis also looks at regional analysis of foreigners sojourning in Czech regions. It shows the biggest ethnical minorities living in the Czech Republic and introduces the common features of regions these minorities are staying in. Furthermore, thesis deals with the impact of the actual economic crisis on the process of foreigners integration in the Czech Republic. The goal is to emphasize the urgency of solving this worldwide phenomen.
Foreigners in the Czech Labour Market

Bakalářská práce se zabývá pozicí cizinců na českém trhu práce a cílem je analyzovat, jestli je příchod cizinců na český trh práce pozitivní nebo negativní. Nejprve je krátce popsán vývoj migrace před rokem 1989 a změna migrace po roce 1989. Dále je práce zaměřena na rozdíly mezi zaměstnáváním osob z EU/EHP a cizinců ze zemí mimo EU a jsou uvedeny nejčastější důvody pobytu cizinců v České republice. Další bod je věnován současné situaci na trhu práce, konkrétně odkud a kolik cizinců přichází do České republiky, jak jsou cizinci ekonomicky aktivní a jak se pravděpodobně bude vyvíjet imigrace v dalších letech. Další část je zaměřena na kontroverzní postoje při otevírání trhu. a na nelegální zaměstnávání cizinců, ke kterému v současné době dochází poměrně často. Cílem je také zmapovat současnou situaci na českém trhu práce, ve kterých profesích je největší nedostatek pracovní síly a proč zaměstnavatelé nemohou sehnat kvalifikované pracovníky, i když je v některých regionech vysoká míra nezaměstnanosti. Závěr bakalářské práce je věnován "zeleným kartám", fondům EU a dalším projektům, které mají pomoci cizinci začlenit se legálně na český trh práce.
