Employing the ACP protocol in payment systems

Bachelors work focuses on the protocol for the cryptographic systems in payment systems developed for ÚTKO. The work summarizes the current state of the system for payment between the two devices, and work will show how protocol allows for pair of devices within the required activities to negotiate the transaction, negotiate the authentication method, make an authentication, deliver the access parameters and transfer statement. The purpose of this work is to develop scenarios inclusive protocol ACP in the payment system and evaluate them from the aspect of safety, performance data and universality.

Bachelor's thesis focuses on the protocol for the cryptographic systems in payment systems developed for ÚTKO. The thesis analyses now used protocols for electronic payment systems. The thesis describes the basic principle of AAA protocols (Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) and the basic principle of ACP protocol. The thesis includes a discussion of the objectives of the new system for payment transactions and discussion about anonymity of this transactions. The next object of this thesis is to develop scenarios inclusive protocol ACP in electronic payment systems and evaluate this scenarios.

Porovnanie AAA protokolov pomocou Petriho sietí

The diploma thesis deals with AAA protocols. The first practical part of thesis was deployment of protocols independently on virtualized computer networks and test their functionality. Next practical part of thesis is about models created with colored Petri nets. The aim of the thesis was to test the individual protocols using Petri nets as well as on the created computer networks. The result of this work is a summary of the possibilities of using protocols in practice because these protocols are rela-tively outdated but often used today.

The influence of watching videogame streams on purchase decisions of gamers and their willingness to pay, evidence from the Czech Republic

This thesis aims to understand the relationshipbetween viewership of video game streams and purchase decisions players make. Furthermore, the price they are willing to pay is explored. The emphasis is on understandingthe difference in these effects for big blockbuster games and small independentlydevelopedtitles. The data was collectedusingan online survey distributed in gaming-focusedgroups on social media. The data on purchase decisions was analysedusing a logit model. It showed that trust in streamer's recommendations increases the chance of purchase along with the number of preferred genres and games bought for indie titles. Moreover,it showed a positive relationshipbetweenbeing a student and purchasinga big game after watching. A standard ordinary least squares model was used to analyze the price and showed that hardcore gamers, people who buy on release day, and people with a wider range of interest in games tend to pay more. On the other hand, older people, students, and people who prefer to buy games on sale are willing to pay less. Analysis of pulse wave propagation in aorta

The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess the applicability of pulse wave propagation monitoring in the cardiovascular system in the field of prediction and early diagnosis of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). The very first part is focused on description of heart and blood vessels with its pathological changes in presence of aneurysm. For this reason, current methods of monitoring and surgical treating of AAA were mentioned. Due to their difficult clinical use widely in the population, new methods based on pulse wave monitoring were presented. Using an analytical approach we estimated the difference in the arrival of the pulse wave at measurable locations between healthy and pathological aorta in the order of miliseconds. By experimental monitoring using photoplethysmographic sensors, we observed significant changes of pulse wave velocity with respect to the mechanical properties of the artery wall (mainly associated with age), which we tried to implement by hyperelastic material models used in computational simulations of pulse wave proagation on simplified geometries by fluid structure interaction method. These analyzes should verify applicability of FSI simulations in further development of diagnostic methods of AAA.

IEEE 802.1x for LAN network admission control

This semestral work deals with the control of access to current local networks using IEEE 802.1X protocol. At the beginning of the thesis are the basic concepts of network access control and possible standards and protocols that are used today. The practical output is the implementation of an authentication server in the form of a virtual server in the laboratory, creating a sample network configuration and a laboratory task in which other students will be able to learn the IEEE 802.1X protocol.

The Educational preparation of Canistherapists and Educational Canistherapy obtions

The bachelor's work deals with the pedagogical preparation of canistherapists and with educational potentialities of canistherapy. Further, it is focused on the legislative embedding of canistherapy in the Czech Republic, describes the used canistherapeutic methods and presents in more detail using of canistherapy with the children with special educational needs, where a dog functions as a positive actor of therapy. Concerning the theme of Pedagogical preparation of canistherapists, the work analyses disunited preparation of therapists within the framework of dissimilarities of individual organizations in the Czech Republic and it points at the acceptable concept of preparation adopted from an international oragnization. Within the scope of educational potentialities of canistherapy, the work is particularly aimed at using the methods of Animal Assisted Education in canistherapeutic programmes implemented at schools. In its final part, the work introduces the organizations which specialize in canistherapy.

Secure access to local area network

This master's thesis deals with the field of secure access to the local area computer network. The main aim of the thesis is to characterize theoretical background of controlled access to computer networks, which includes security principles, recommended practices, authentication methods, network protocols and related processes. This thesis also includes practical usage of acquired knowledge by implementing secure access to local area network in a real environment.
The first part characterize the theoretical principles underlying the design and implementation of the entire system.
The practical part deals with the implementation of specific secure access to the local area computer network solution in the engineering company. The first part introduces the company, its environment and requirements. The following section describes performed analysis of the original state and based on the obtained information summarizes the proposed solution. Implementation of the comprehensive system of the controlled access to the local area network is described in detail in the next section. Description of the system deployment into production operation process, the definition of acceptance tests and recommendations for solving of potential issues are part of this work as well. Conclusion chapter contains summary of the system's economic aspects and the potential impacts on information systems operation in the company.
Final evaluation summarizes the thesis, highlights the benefits of the implemented system and analyses its weak points, with recommendations for further development. It finds the designed secure access to the local network as a suitable, secure and practical way to control access to local network resources.

Use of Dog in Occupational Therapy

Main topics of the bachelor´s thesis are possible ways of the dog´s use in occupational therapy. Occupational therapy, as a therapeutic method, its history, definition and main goals are described in the thesis. The following part is depicting animal assisted therapies, their application and functioning principles.
Various studies show that animal assisted therapies have a whole range of positive effects on clients´ physical and mental health as well as they can help clients with social integration. All these areas simultaneously belong to occupational therapy practice and comply with main goals of occupational therapy. Thus use of dogs in occupational therapy has been well justified.
Possible ways of dog´s use in occupational therapy in area of mental health are listed in the thesis, such as the effect of the presence of the dog on the psychological well-being of patients and the use of dog to relieve the feeling of inferiority among mentally ill patients.
The dog also seems to be very appropriate and effective incentive element for communication and cooperation with the therapeutist and social interaction. The dog can also motivate people to physical activity.
Possible ways of dog´s use in occupational therapy in area of physical health are also listed in the thesis. This work describes the effect of the dog to cope with pain in hospitalized patients. Very important is the use of the dog as a compensatory tool.
In this thesis is mentioned that the animal assisted therapies and the use of the dog in occupational therapy needs further research supported by adequate evidence.
Integral parts of the thesis are several designs of canistherapeutical units, which show particular use of the dog in occupational therapy. These canistherapeutical units were designed in collaboration with occupational therapists.
