The Use of ADS-B Information for Airborne Separation and Collision Avoidance
Jošth Adamová, Eva ; Jonák, Jaroslav (oponent) ; Novák, Andrej (oponent) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (vedoucí práce)
Safety of General Aviation (GA) has always been a concern since lack of harmonized technical standards addressing performance for devices allowing GA aircraft to see and be seen, is major impediment to their widespread use in Europe. The increasing complexity and density of air traffic, when the skies become more crowded with a mix of different airspace users, including unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) trending in the last few years, emphasize the importance of and the need of change. The aim of this doctoral thesis is to elaborate on the possibilities to improve the operational safety of GA operations in uncontrolled airspace anticipating considerable challenges associated with UAS uptake. With the overall ATM framework being adapted to accommodate these novel airspace users, ADS-B technology is being recognized for its significant potential. This thesis explored the possibilities to improve cooperative surveillance in uncontrolled airspace (starting with but not limiting to ADS-B), and through set of experiments evaluated the acceptability, feasibility and reusability of different existing collision avoidance and situation awareness systems, both tailored and not tailored for GA. Part of the research was also the investigation on possible adaptation of the drone dedicated Remain Well Clear concept for GA operational needs. The research activities within the scope of this thesis were undertaken in two phases. Within the first phase, spanning from 2015 to 2019, a series of experiments were conducted. The second phase focused on the exhaustive analysis of systems introduced since the last experiment, culminating in the recent months, highlighting the solutions that with appropriate adjustments hold the potential to be effectively tailored for adoption by GA.
Human Activity Recognition Using Smartphone
Novák, Andrej ; Červenák, Rastislav (oponent) ; Burget, Radim (vedoucí práce)
The increase of mobile smartphones continues to grow and with it the demand for automation and use of the most offered aspects of the phone, whether in medicine (health care and surveillance) or in user applications (automatic recognition of position, etc.). As part of this work has been created the designs and implementation of the system for the recognition of human activity on the basis of data processing from sensors of smartphones, along with the determination of the optimal parameters, recovery success rate and comparison of individual evaluation. Other benefits include a draft format and displaying numerous training set consisting of real contributions and their manual evaluation. In addition to the main benefits, the software tool was created to allow the validation of the elements of the training set and acquisition of features from this set and software, that is able with the help of deep learning to train models and then test them.
Employing the ACP protocol in payment systems
Novák, Andrej ; Burda, Karel (oponent) ; Strašil, Ivo (vedoucí práce)
Bachelors work focuses on the protocol for the cryptographic systems in payment systems developed for ÚTKO. The work summarizes the current state of the system for payment between the two devices, and work will show how protocol allows for pair of devices within the required activities to negotiate the transaction, negotiate the authentication method, make an authentication, deliver the access parameters and transfer statement. The purpose of this work is to develop scenarios inclusive protocol ACP in the payment system and evaluate them from the aspect of safety, performance data and universality.
Aplikace pro automatický popis multimediálního obsahu
Novák, Andrej ; Burget, Radim (oponent) ; Číka, Petr (vedoucí práce)
Bakalárska práca sa zameriava na problematiku správy multimedálnej databázi so zameraním na štandart MPEG-7, ktorého súčasti a kritéria budú kľučové k správe statických digitálnych obrazov, nakoľko štandard MPEG-7 definuje popis multimediálneho obsahu. Praktická časť bakalárskej práce bude obsahovať naprogramovanú aplikáciu, ktorá bude danú správu a ukladanie do multimediálnej databázi na základe štadardu MPEG-7 vykonávať.
