It is based on the legal requirements for the performance of the headmaster and his managerial role required for the management of the school, which he has to manage. It describes an initial period of headmaster's dutin and it solves an subsequent phases of business. It highlights the influence of the length of time in managing activities in shaping the attitudes and improving the quality of school management. It describes the facts that brings the ever-changing conditions in the educational legislativ for the exercise of the headmaster, which significantly affect its access to the profession and life perspective.
Accountability of Public and Private Elementary School

The bachelor's thesis deals with the school accountability. It explores accountability as a phenomenon that exists but it is not explicitly expressed and systematically integrated into the process of managerial control in Czech school. The work summarizes the gained knowledge and approaches to accountability in Czech and foreign environment and their links with the school management in general. The aim of qualitative research is to contribute to the expansion of scientific knowledge in this area. There are identified external subjects of public and private schools in the case study, their main interests which are subsequently compared. The work is intended for school directors; bringing a more detailed view on demands of external subjects, both public and private schools, offering specific procedures and recommendations to school management, which can be considered as an accountable proceeding to external subjects. Hidden curriculum and the possibility to influence it from different levels of the organizational structure

In the theoretical part of this thesis research concepts curriculum and hidden curriculum. The following is a list of managerial functions that influence hidden curriculum music school. The following contains areas for specific training in music schools. In the empirical part is based on data found in the research questionnaire survey and the data obtained in the interviews that were conducted on a random sample of respondents from among the directors, representatives, department heads and teachers of music schools. The aim of the research is to compare whether and to what extent the respondents were involved in activities that may affect the hidden curriculum in the music school. Activities affecting the hidden curriculum of various organizational positions were determined on the basis of interviews with respondents in the pilot study. The work provides an interpretation of the curriculum and the hidden curriculum. Searches concepts was based on the use of our and foreign literature. Following are sorted managerial activities related to the management of the curriculum in music schools.

Irena Lhotková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The object of my dissertation "The effective communication between the school management and the school board" is to analyze the ways of communication between the members of school boards and school management. The goal is to find out which ways of communication areostly used, their positive and negative features, and the frequency and reasons of this communication between both sides. Based on the figures emerging from the research that has been carried out to design recommendations which would help to choose the appropriate form of communication and make the whole communication process easier. The theoretical part of the dissertation deals with defining of terms such as communication, communication process, types, forms and functions of communication, school board and school management. The practical part arranges the survey, carried out in the form of questionnaire, based on allegations. At the end of the thesis the recommendation for an effective communication is suggested. In The Report of Czech School Inspection as a Source of Information about Breaking the Rules in the Examples of the Kindergartens

The bachelor's work contains the facts gained during the studium of the school management. It deals with the problems of the abuse of the legal regulations from the part of the headmasters of the kindergartens. The work is focused on the making a map and the description of the most frequent breaking the rules in the connection with the valid legal rules and the Criterions of the evaluation of the educational coditions, process and results published by the Czech School Inspection and authorized by the Ministry of Education. It offers a research of errors and sugests solution how to prevent from them. The corn of the practical part is the analysis of the inspectional reports and searching for the main fields, where the mistakes are made, then summing up and comparison. The target of the work is to sugest how to prevent from the abuse in the management of the kindergartens.
Evaluation and Auto-evaluation - theory, practice, contexts. With specialize in the leadership

The central theme of this thesis is auto-evaluation or self-evaluation of the school. The author discusses this issue in a comprehensive concept and interrelations - from theory to practice. He presents a fixed theoretical foundation, as well as analysis and interpretation of results from field mapping to professionals and practitioners. He offers to schools methodological guidelines for auto-evaluation activities. It also includes analysis of legislative framework, the discussion of the risks associated with auto-evaluation processes and current developments and planned changes (as of May 2011) in this area. Particular attention is devoted to the role of managers in schools in the autoevaluation process and its planning, organization and management. In detail, the author deals with some methods that can be used well in practice. The thesis is based on the current state of auto-evaluation of the Czech primary and secondary schools. It tries to grasp the issue in the broadest view. It also aims to provide schools the seizable platform of evaluation and auto-evaluation. Presented text adds on the topic new views, attitudes and perceptions.
Educational needs of kindergartens headmasters in Prague

The bachelor thesis deals with the educational needs of nursery school headmasters in Prague. The aim was to find out the contemporary educational needs of the stated group of leading workers and compare them with topical educational offers on the territory of the capital city of Prague. Theoretical part comes from the professional literature concerning the nowadays pre-school available educational and other sources and others. Researching part was based on questionnaire studies and its further analysis. The result is to create the whole side of further education of nursery school headmasters concerning their demands. At the end of the bachelor thesis the headmasters' interests of further school management education are confirmed and the time limited possibilities of headmasters are pointed out. The author of the thesis also shows the inadequate educational offers and the lack of wrong adjustment of the whole system of managerial education in our educational system.
School rules as a tool for school management

Title: School rules as a tool for school management. This bachelor thesis attempts to answer the following question: What features must the document of school rules have to be an effective tool for school management? It is assumed in my work that the school rules can serve as an effective tool for school management. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the analysis of literature and related terminology. It aims to search the areas, in which it is possible to support the efficiency of school rules. In the practical part of this thesis, then, the defined hypotheses are subjected to criticism, which is based on both a questionnaire research elaborated among the principals of elementary schools and on an analysis of chosen examples of particular school rules. The results can serve as an interesting input and reflection for the school management in the issue of functioning, as well as benefits of school rules. Key words: school rules, school management
