An optimal strategy for transporting objects between moving conveyor belts

This thesis deals with strategies used in pick-and-place applications. In the theoretical part, the main parameters of the robot-conveyor system, such as efficiency and gripping rate, are first described. Subsequently, pick-and-place problems are divided into solutions with one or more robots. Then, the paper focuses on well-known strategies such as FIFO or SPT. The construction of a cost function based on the position of an object on the conveyor is described. Furthermore, the creation of the simulation is described, which is then compared to the B&R solution. Then, the different strategies in different scenarios are analysed. Finally, the rules for the selection of strategies are formulated and the whole paper is summarized.
Strategic Management in the Selected Agricultural Company

This diploma thesis deals with strategic management in a selected agricultural company, also with regard to the impact of the new common agricultural policy for the period 2023-2027. Using strategic analyzes such as STEP analysis, resource analysis, scenario analysis, the company's strategic position will be evaluated as a result of the internal and external influences on the company. According to the SWOT analysis, a proposal for new strategies will then be prepared for the company's management, which will be more precisely specified, any acquisition costs will be expressed, essential benefits and possible savings will be described.
Communication and corporate culture in construction engineering

This bachelor thesis is focused on communication and corporate culture in the construction engineering, with an emphasis on importance and improvement. The thesis aims to capture the importance of this topic in the context of the construction engineering. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the issue of communication and culture in the construction industry is examined in detail to provide a comprehensive overview. The practical part presents the results of the research conducted, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data was obtained through questionnaire surveys and guided interviews with employees of selected construction companies. The paper concludes with a summary of partial conclusions and formulates recommendations for improving communication and corporate culture in construction companies. This work included a proposal for a more effective survey methodology and tips for making the industry more attractive to young people.
The Effectiveness of Mass Media Instrumentalization in Offensive Foreign Policy Strategies

The dissertation thesis focuses on the issue of the effectiveness of mass media instrumentalization on the information-psychological level in offensive foreign policy strategies. Despite an increased interest in both the offensive potential of mass media assets as well as particular strategies enabling to employ these assets to assertively decide political and military conflicts in the course of the last two decades, there is still a crucial lack of understanding of how the effectiveness of these strategic approaches is produced or could be appraised. Therefore, this dissertation thesis aims to construct a comprehensive definition of effectiveness in the given context and use it to generate a new and unparalleled analytical model that can be applied to proceed with a qualitative assessment of the 'efficiency potential' of (real or prospective) offensive foreign mass media campaigns led on the information-psychological level. This thesis deals with streamlining business processes using project management tools at VOLET, Ltd. The company sells components and services in the field of garden ponds and irrigation systems. The first part describes the theoretical background, these are concepts based on project management. The analytical part describes the company and its current situation, then the individual analyzes. On the basis of these analyzes will be presented in the last part of the proposals on which to base the proposed project to streamline business processes.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to design changes in motivation system of selected company, which is based on analysis of the current motivation system. There is a theoretical background of given issue in theoretical part. The practical part is focused on the analysis and evaluation of the motivation system of the company. One part of the analysis is also questionnaire. In conclusion of the thesis are developed designs of the changes of non-financial benefits based on data collection, which lead to increase the employee satisfaction.
Use of Multi-criteria Analysis for Evaluation Cableway Project Efficiency

This thesis investigates the cableway project in the city of Vsetín. The theoretical part is describing the city, it’s demographic trends and also changes in the image of the city. The practical part is dealing with the abovementioned cableway project and is divided into several parts. The introduction is focused on a multi-criteria assessment of particular options of the cableway and fallowing a multi-criteria assessment of transport services in the housing development Sychrov. The multi-criteria assessment is carried out by some of variant calculations in order to specify the importance of criteria, weighting for criterion and calculation methods. This is followed by an assessment of the efficiency of transport links by the Cost Benefit Analysis – CBA method. This method is aimed to determine the most effective way of passenger traffic and to recommend an optimal option in consideration of not only incomes but also costs and contribution to beneficiaries, which are an important part of public projects.
Increasing of the brand values

The diploma thesis is focuses on monitoring the effectiveness of marketing resources and increasing the brand value of the company. The theoretical part deals with the findings about the company issues, brand and its value. The thesis subsequently presents a list of elements that relate to increasing of the brand value. The final topic of the theoretical part aims at methods of evaluation of brand value and interviewing methodology. In the practical part, the thesis deals with the analysis of the selected construction company, evaluation of its brand in comparison with another company of similar character and hypothesis testing. Finally, on the basis of the findings, marketing tools are proposed to effectively increase brand value of the company.
