I/O Peripheries for Modbus/TCP server
Mikula, Matej ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the development of input-output peripherals for a Modbus TCP server. Its goal is to create a functional model of a device with analog and digital inputs and outputs. The device is capable of communicating with the PLC Allen-Bradley Logix series. It can report the state of its inputs, and it is possible to set the value of its outputs. The functionality of the proposed device is verified by creating a simple application for the PLC.
System for semi-automatic documentation of computer networks
Švik, Ondřej ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This thesis addresses the issue of semi-automatic documentation of computer networks. The main objective is the development of an application that streamlines and facilitates the management of network devices and their documentation. The thesis includes an analysis of current commercial and open-source network management solutions. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of computer networks, their topologies, and network protocols, particularly the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). The application is designed for use in the faculty network, with a chapter in the theoretical part dedicated to describing this network. The practical part focuses on the design and implementation of a web application using a client/server architecture, which enables automatic network mapping, device management, topology visualization, and includes an interactive map of the faculty.
Generating non-standard packets and data flows on Ethernet networks for teaching purposes
Mošnerová, Tereza ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is aimed at the process of generating non-standard data streams that contain hidden information. For this purpose a software called Ostinato is used. Ostinato allows to select protocols on the individual layers of the TCP/IP network model according to the needs and preferences, and moreover, data bytes can be inserted and modified arbitrarily using the HexDump fields. Various fields of the TCP/IP protocols are used to hide data on the network, transport and application layers. The generated data packets can be easily modified which enables to create several other versions of them. These can serve, for example, as a semestral project assignment for the subjects Communication Technology and Modern Communication Techniques taught at BUT. In addition, the size limits of the inserted data of the individual data packet options are tested. The functionality of the generated packets is verified by Wireshark. As a result, several .ostm and .pcapng files including a text file with their clear description are provided.
Optimization of control using reinforcement learning on the Robocode platform
Pastušek, Václav ; Myška, Vojtěch (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This master's thesis focuses on optimizing the control of a tank robot in the Robocode environment using reinforcement learning. The complexity of this problem falls into the EXPSPACE class, presenting a challenge that cannot be underestimated. The theoretical part of the thesis meticulously examines the Robocode platform, concepts of reinforcement learning, and relevant algorithms, while the practical part focuses on optimizing the agent, implementing reinforcement learning algorithms, and creating a user-friendly interface for easy training and testing of models. A total of 64 models were trained and tested as part of the thesis, with their data and parameters compared and presented in accompanying databases and graphs. The best results in terms of average hits per episode were achieved by models labeled v0.8.0 and v1.0.0. The first model exhibited a certain ability to evade shots, while the second model showed more successful hits.
Secure data transfer between multiplatform database servers
Navrátil, Jiří ; Janovič, Filip (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This work deals with options of servers synchronization, possibilities of communication among client applications and database server. It also sets up solution using the application server and demonstrates its realization in common development environment.
TCP/IP Protocol for Teaching HW/SW Platform FITKit
Leskovec, Jiří ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Fučík, Otto (advisor)
Bachelor thesis treats of handling TCP/IP protocol for teaching device FITKit. Deals with choose of appropriate solution, modification of found solution and linking with target device. Next time describing final testing and behavior whole system.
Corporate Computer Network Design
Freml, Václav ; Ondřej,, HRIADEL (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of computer network modernization for primary school. The first part of the thesis contains an analysis of the current state of the building data network and the needs and requirements of the investor. The second part summarizes the necessary theory and the basic information needed to understand the design. The design itself is included in the third part of the work, there is a proposal for cabling solutions, selected elements and economic evaluation.
Virtual commissioning of the robotic workplace for workpiece manipulation
Lorenc, Tomáš ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of virtual commissioning of the workplace and the commissioning of communication channels needed for this purpose. The theoretical part describes the benefits of virtual commissioning, robot and PLC programming and effectors for robots. The practical part deals with the design of the final robot effector, virtual commissioning using the programs Process Simulate and TwinCAT 3, communication between programs and creation of programs for the workplace.
Security analysis of network protocols
Bednařík, Jan ; Sobotka, Jiří (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my bachalor’s thesis is security of net protocols analysis. Because of the huge number of net protocols, I’ve decided to choose only a few of them to describe. My task is to describe the TCP/IP model structure in term of security, so I have chosen to devide my thesis into two separate parts. The first part contains describtions of particular TCP/IP layers and adumbration of possibilities of securing. The second part contains more accurate describtions of some chosen protocols, mostly the case of their security. At the close of my work it is my task to describe some utilities and methods which can be used to accomplish an successful attack on chosen net protocols. I have chosen protocols HTTP, FTP and SSL. As the utilities I have chosen programs Wireshark, Brutus and SSLSTRIP.
Programming of processors in 32- or 64-bit operation systems
Rášo, Ondřej ; Kyselý, František (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
Main topic of this thesis is Win32 application programming interface and symbolic instructions programming language. It can be divided into four parts. First part sums the basics of 32-bit programming in symbolic instructions language in Windows. Second part describes the Win32 resources for computer intercommunication. Third part presents, describes and comments selected problems in symbolic instructions language.Last part covers a creation of an example application. This application and its parts will be the content of computer exercises in VUT Brno FEEC subject Počítače a jejich periferie.
