Shared transport for hospital staff
Lukášek, Ondřej ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Tesařová, Alena (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design and development of a mobile application for the employees of Olomouc University Hospital, who face a shortage of parking spaces on the premises. The application addresses this issue through shared rides for commuting to and from work. It is implemented for Android and iOS platforms using the React Native framework, with Firebase used as the backend service. The main contribution of this work is the extensive user research involving over 1000 hospital employees. Besides the research and overall mobile development, this thesis deals with the actual implementation of the application using modern approaches. The resulting application is ready for imminent release and pilot operation in the hospital, representing an important step towards practical deployment in a real-world setting.
3D printing of a non-dismantling assembly
Halíř, Jan ; Drbal, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with 3D printing of prototype non-disassemble assemblies. In the theoretical part, the individual most used printing technologies, the types of plastic and metal materials used, printers, 3D scanners, and their use in medicine, construction and engineering was described. In the practical part, FDM technology was used to print the ball joint, the french key, and the rolling bearing, the functionality of which were tested. In the last part, the results of the prints were evaluated based on the selected parameters and material about their functionality.
Vertical level design
Mrkus, Matyáš ; Záhora, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of a game space for a group studio project, the output of which is a playable prototype of the game route. It deals with design from the point of view of verticality connected with maximum use of minimum space. With its approach, it tries to refute characteristics such as linearity and flatness, and further identify and define the principles of guiding the player in relation to an impressive gaming experience. Its goal is to find a method for consistently effective design and routing of the game space for the single-player FPS game genre and apply it to a playable prototype of the studio project. To identify the principles, an analysis of a case study of the game title "Dark Souls" (FromSoftware, 2011) was used, the findings of which are subsequently listed in a clear list applicable to any game project.
Implementation of a Multipurpose Measurement System for (Sub)Terahertz Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy
Následně jsou ukázány příklady z měření pevných látek, konkrétně karbidu křemíku dopovaného vanadem (SiC:V), ftalocyaninu líthia (LiPc) a krystalu 1,3-bisdifenylen-2-fenylallylu (BDPA). Příklady demonstrují schopnosti spektrometru získat multifrekvenční vlnově spojitá EPR spektra a frekvenčně rozmítaná spektra v závislosti na teplotě a orientaci vzorku, a taky spektra pomocí rychlého skenování frekvencí
History of Civil Aviation 1970-2000
Sehnálková, Radka ; Bencalík, Karol (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
The main subject of this bachelor’s thesis is concise and clear history of civil aviation between year 1970 and 2000. This era is typical with outset of large transport aircraft, which are intended for long distances and big number of passengers, but attention is also paid to aircraft, which are not for transport of so many passengers. Thesis is focus on concise description of individual aircraft, divided by its types of propulsions and producer.
A design proposal and prototype production of the part Capodaster
Remer, Radim ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with manufacturing of an own capo prototype design with the help of the machining. Further focus is on the used CAD, CAM and milling technologies. The final part of the bachelor thesis is focused on an achieved results and an economic evaluation.
Mist
Volkova, Zoya ; Kudělka, Vladimír (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The "Mist" is a visual narrative project on the border between 2D digital games and interactive animation. The virtual space here thematically take place between key words such as dream, sleep, limbo, phase of sadness, phase of dying. Subsequently, a form of metaphor is elaborated with the help of a non-existent landscape with specific elements (trees, plants, and others). Road through the countryside, road through the mist. Part of the movement of virtual space is a survey of linear processing over time.

The Lucy Collective - Women Of History, Women Of Fiction
Franková, Anna ; Herout,, Adam (referee) ; Macháček, Mikuláš (advisor)
This project is a prototype of a database-driven website with user-editable content The Lucy Collective – Women Of History. This site will collect information about historical women and links to sources related to them, and serve as a "first-step" resource for educators, creators, and other people interested in the topic. The prototype's main goal is to present the intended structure, useability, and design of the final website, and serve as a basis for building the final working version.
Design and Evaluation of User Interface for Canteen Information System
Štrbák, Tomáš ; Rudnitckaia, Julia (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this publication is to describe process and methods of user interface design in~theory and show application of methods in user interface design and evalutation of system Spokojená Jídelna. Publication describes one of many possible approaches to user interface design, but not the only one.
