User-friendliness of the City Councils Voting System

This bachelor thesis deals with the user-friendliness of the system for the visualization of the Brno City Council voting. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the initial state of the system, and based on the findings, to design and implement a redesign of the user interface, with an emphasis on user-friendliness, also in the smartphone display version. The implementation included adding extensions to the system. The theoretical part summarizes elementary information about the municipal councils and possible ways of presenting data from their meetings. The concepts of user-friendliness and data visualization are also explained. The created redesign was implemented using Cascading Style Sheets and the React, Chart.js and PrimeReact libraries. The practical part of the thesis also includes refactoring and optimization of the client side of the application. The system was tested by a representative group of users. The findings of this thesis include a survey of the target user group, the design and the implementation of a user-friendly interface of the system and its extension.
Accessibility of Transport Nodes from the Perspective of People with Disabilities

The bachelor thesis entitled Accessibility of Transport Nodes from the Perspective of People with Disabilities deals with selected most important transport nodes in Havlíčkův Brod. The first part of the thesis deals with the theory that describes the individual elements that are within the framework of safe and barrier-free use of roads. The second part of the thesis is practical, where suggestions for improving the selected routes are made. Accessibility of transport nodes from the perspective of people with disabilities is a document that serves as a concept to develop safety and accessibility of transport nodes in cities. This work can also serve as a basis for investors who want to build or repair places that are not easily accessible and potentially dangerous for people with disabilities. The work is created with the intention that people with disabilities can safely complete the routine journeys they use every day. The adaptations are designed for all types of disabled people, which include those with physical, visual and hearing impairments. The town of Havlíčkův Brod was chosen for this work due to the fact that there is a large transport hub in the form of a train and bus station, which are complemented by public transport stops. The routes connecting the individual objects are analysed in terms of barrier-free use and their current condition.
Accessibility of Transport Nodes from the Perspective of People with Disabilities

The thesis focuses on the accessibility of public transport nodes for people with disabilities in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is a review of Czech legislation related to the issue of accessible environment and theories for designing barrier-free environment used in practice. The practical part includes an analysis of the specific area of the Stará Osada transfer node and its connection to the Brno-Židenice railway station. It maps the barriers around the transfer node and the route to the Brno-Židenice railway station and suggests solutions for eliminating these barriers. It has been found that there are no adequate barrier-free adaptations in the Stará Osada change node to provide trouble-free mobility for people with disabilities. The outcome of the practical part is a design of modifications in the area in question to improve the current situation.
Football Recycling

The area in question is located near the city center and has significant historical importance as the main territory of Brno football and hockey. However, in its current state, it is almost inaccessible to pedestrians due to fragmentation and being cut off from the surrounding urban structure. The project aims to create paths and sidewalks for runners, pedestrians, and cyclists, which will improve accessibility and movement in the area. At the same time, it will expand Lužánky Park as a popular place for recreation. The project works with existing fragments of past plans and takes into account spatial and historical facts. The proposed changes include solutions to urban and architectural aspects, as well as new sports facilities that will support the diversity and multifunctionality of the area.
Formalization and Validation of Web Accessibility

Users with different types of handicaps access web pages with wide scale of device. Thus, it is often difficult to develop web sites in order to be accessible for everyone. This thesis takes into consideration specific guidelines for accessible content of web pages as well as formalization of their rules and subsequent validation of these rules.
Web applications with respect to accessibility

This master’s thesis deals with problems of the web applications with respect to accessibility. At first it describes accessibility of the web pages. There are mentioned main reasons and initiatives for making accessible web pages. The first chapter is also aims to handicapped users. The handicapped users are separated to groups according to their handicap and impacts on accessibility of the web pages. The second chapter presents methodics of the accessible website, Czech and foreign rules and lawful orders. The foreign (WCAG, Section 508) and the Czech (Blind Friendly Web and Pravidla pro tvorbu přístupného webu) representatives of the rules are introduced in the next part of this chapter. The idea of the accessible web application – electronic shop - is presented in the third chapter. There are subscribed the conception of electronic shop, advantages and disadvantages and main functions. In the next part of this chapter there are mentioned the primary rules of the writing the source code of the web pages which are used during the creating of the accessible web application of the electronic shop. Closely there are introduced scripting language PHP, database system MySQL and Cascading Styles Sheets (CSS). The part of the master’s thesis is a mentioned accessible web application of the electronic shop. The presentation is placed on http://www.xandy.cz/tmp/ and presents the accessible web system with the respect to accessibility. Creation and description of this web application is mentioned in the last fourth chapter.

This thesis deals with web presentation design, the principles of creating valid XHTML and CSS codes and web pages as such, with focus on their accessibility and usability. All of these rules and principles are used in the design of company presentation of Atego, s.r.o. The web page is created using XHTML 1.0 Transitional, CSS 2.0, PHP and MySQL database system.
Presentation System of Music Club

Framework for Development of Administration Systems

Project deals with theoretical part of the process of developing administration systems which are supposed to run on-line. It talks about advantages of frameworks and finds basic principles of designing user interfaces. There are summarized general principles of using interactive components as (X)HTML form elements, JavaScript and AJAX with respect to modern administration systems. Important part of this work describes use of an optimal security mechanisms in language PHP.
