Popularity of Online Computer Gaming and Its Relation to People's Lifestyle in European Countries

Title: Popularity of Online Computer Gaming and Its Relation to People's Lifestyle in European Countries Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to find possible associations between the popularity of online gaming, expressed as the number of players per 1 million inhabitants, and indicators of healthy or unhealthy lifestyles. If a statistically significant relationship between the variables is found, it is appropriate to further investigate the nature and strength of this association and compare the results of the thesis with other research in this area. Methods: Linear regression was used to analyze the secondary data. Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficients and Shapiro-Wilk normality test were used to test the assumptions of the regression analysis. Statistical significance of the data was tested at the significance level α = 0,05. The regression models were constructed after prior testing of the assumptions of the regression analysis using Jamovi. Results: After evaluating the assumptions of the regression analysis, a total of 4 regression models were constructed for the following variables: Smoking, Participation in Cultural and Sporting Events, Working Out and Not Drinking Alcohol. The Influence of Factors on the Lifestyle of the 21st Century

Title: The influence of factors on 21st century lifestyles. Objectives: The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to analyse the influence of 21st century lifestyle factors on the population aged 20 - 30 years, or what the influence of social networks is and what was the influence of the covid-19 period on lifestyle, specifically on eating habits and physical activity. Methods: 87 respondents took part in the survey. An anonymous survey method was used. The survey was created in the online platform Survio and then shared via a link. The content of the survey consisted of 16 closed-ended questions and the data collected was processed and evaluated in Microsoft Excel. The results were interpreted using bar charts with brief comments. All data collected through this survey was used for the research results. Results: The results of the survey showed that social networks are considered by respondents as the most risky lifestyle factor nowadays. Specifically, it was identified as a negative lifestyle factor by 60 % of respondents and more than 70 % of respondents identified social networking as a risk factor. Healthy nutrition in school-age children

The bachelor's thesis on "Healthy nutrition in school-age children" focuses on the eating habits of children at younger and older school age. The aim of the thesis was to find out and map how children of younger and older school age eat and what their eating habits are. In the theoretical part of the thesis, attention is paid to healthy nutrition and healthy lifestyles, and emphasis is placed on the eating habits of children of different ages, with a division into younger school age and older school age. In the empirical part, the objectives, working hypotheses, methodology and organization of the investigation are presented. The results of the actual investigation are presented, followed by comparisons with the results of other studies. The research method was a self-constructed questionnaire distributed to general practitioners for children and adolescents in the Central Bohemia Region and Prague. 81 questionnaires were included in the survey. The results of the self-administered survey were very satisfactory. As an example, 74.07 % of the respondents stated that their children were used to eating breakfast. Skateboarding as a free subculture - history from 1988 to the end of the 90's in Czechia

The goal of the thesis is to provide a detailed description of the history of skateboarding in the Czechoslovakia, i.e., in the Czech Republic from 1988 to the end of the nineties of the twentieth century, using a detailed insight into the environment of this urban community. The foundation of oral history research is the collection of data from recorded interviews, period literature, photographs, or film recordings (VHS). A key factor is the understanding of the life of this specific community from the perspective of the perception of freedom and other subjective feelings against the background of societal changes. The thesis examines the statements of this generation of skateboarders and people associated with this environment, with an overlap into culture, business, and the organization of sports events. The design of outdoor fitness equipment is significant for the promotion of public health, inclusion, and social interaction in communities. These installations contribute to better use of public spaces and promote environmental sustainability. The economic benefits of investing in these facilities include reduced health care costs and increased population productivity. Therefore, it is important to take care in their design and implementation to maximize the benefits to communities. This thesis deals with the design of outdoor fitness equipment with the aim of enabling strength training in an outdoor environment.
Comparison of selected indicators of lifestyle chemistry teachers and health education teachers.

This thesis focuses on the comparison of selected lifestyle indicators of chemistry teachers and health education teachers in primary schools. The selected indicators are, for example, drinking regime, physical activity, education in healthy nutrition, stress management, etc. The theoretical part explains the key terms from the pedagogical field and the selected indicators of healthy lifestyle. The practical part is focused on the comparison of these indicators and the negative or positive influence of teaching the subject on the lifestyle of the selected teachers. A QUAN- qual mixed design is used for this evaluation. The quantitative research was conducted by means of a questionnaire survey. Additional qualitative research was conducted using two interviews. The main target is to compare the lifestyles of health education teachers and chemistry teachers in primary schools using selected indicators. The sub-targets will then be to compare the extent to which the selected educators think they are following the principles of healthy nutrition. The second sub-target will then be to compare which subject taught has a greater positive impact on the health lifestyle of educators, the Health Education subject or the Chemistry subject. Anglicism in the Discourse of Lifestyle Influencers

This bachelor thesis focuses on anglicisms in the discourse of Czech lifestyle influencers. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes how English language and culture has affected Czech language. It also unveils the phonological, grammatical and word-forming adaptation principles. Finally, it defines the community of online content creators and the lifestyle category. The practical part analyses the collected anglicisms. The main focus is on the used adaptation principles. All of the lexical material has been extracted from recent (i.e. 2023, 2024) YouTube and TikTok posts. A dictionary with every collected anglicism is also included in this thesis.
