Název: Popularita hraní online her v zemích Evropy a její vztah k životnímu stylu obyvatel Cíle: Cílem diplomové práce je nalézt případné souvislosti mezi popularitou online hraní, vyjádřenou jako počet hráčů na 1 milion obyvatel, a ukazateli zdravého, respektive nezdravého životního stylu obyvatel. V případě nalezení statisticky významného vztahu mezi proměnnými je na místě dále zkoumat povahu a sílu této vazby a porovnat výsledky práce s ostatními výzkumy z této oblasti. Metody: K analýze sekundárních dat bylo užito lineární regrese. K testování předpokladů regresní analýzy bylo užito Pearsonova a Spearmanova korelačního koeficientu a Shapiro- Wilkova testu normality. Statistická významnost dat byla testována na hladině významnosti α = 0,05. Regresní modely byly sestaveny po předchozím testování předpokladů regresní analýzy s využitím programu Jamovi. Výsledky: Po vyhodnocení předpokladů regresní analýzy byly zkonstruovány celkem 4 regresní modely pro následující proměnné: Kouření, Účast kultura a sport, Posilování a Nepije alkohol. Významný vztah mezi nezávisle a závisle proměnnou byl pozorován v případě proměnné Kouření a Účast kultura a sport. Klíčová slova: videohry, gaming, životní styl, lineární regrese, regresní analýza Title: Popularity of Online Computer Gaming and Its Relation to People's Lifestyle in European Countries Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to find possible associations between the popularity of online gaming, expressed as the number of players per 1 million inhabitants, and indicators of healthy or unhealthy lifestyles. If a statistically significant relationship between the variables is found, it is appropriate to further investigate the nature and strength of this association and compare the results of the thesis with other research in this area. Methods: Linear regression was used to analyze the secondary data. Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficients and Shapiro-Wilk normality test were used to test the assumptions of the regression analysis. Statistical significance of the data was tested at the significance level α = 0,05. The regression models were constructed after prior testing of the assumptions of the regression analysis using Jamovi. Results: After evaluating the assumptions of the regression analysis, a total of 4 regression models were constructed for the following variables: Smoking, Participation in Cultural and Sporting Events, Working Out and Not Drinking Alcohol.
