Apartment building, Trnava

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the design of an apartment building located on the outskirts of the city of Trnava, Slovakia. The building land is situated on the eastern side of the city, where several residential buildings are currently under construction or planned. It is a three-story, partially basement building with a vegetation roof and an entrance facing west. The primary shape is a prism with a indented section containing the staircase, elevator, and providing access to a communal terrace. The basement contains a technical room, laundry room, bicycle garage with a stroller storage area, and storage units. The building comprises twelve residential units of two categories: 3+kk (nine apartments) and 1+kk (three apartments), with four apartments on each above-ground floor. The apartments on the first floor have private front yards facing east, while all apartments on the second and third floor have suspended balconies. The common areas, starting from the entrance hall, including corridors leading to the individual apartments separated by swinging doors, a staircase space spanning to all floors, and an elevator servicing the ground floor, first floor, second floor, and third floor, without the machine room. The structural system of the building is two-way system, consisting of ceramic bricks in the above-ground floors and fromwork fittings in the basement. The external walls are insulated with an external thermal insulation composite system ETICS. The horizontal structures consist of prestressed ceiling panels SPIROLL. The apartment building is founded on simple concrete strip foundations. The majority of the building is covered with a flat vegetation roof that can be accessed, while the area above the staircase features an inaccessible flat roof with rounded gravel ballast.

This thesis covers designing documentary materials for realization of a new- build property of a residential house. The residential house is planned on a flat land. It is a four-floor building with a cellar. The constructional system is brick of construction blocks POROTHERM. The building is based on foundation strips from pure concrete. Vertical supporting constructions are from blocks POROTHERM. Horizontal supporting constructions are from monolitic reinforced ferroconcrete. The roofs are solved as flat single housing cover. In the residential house there are 12 housing units, non-residential premises and a technical hall. The total built-up area is 380,82 m2, The attic height is +9,890. The building has got a barrierfree entrance, but there is no barrier-free flat here. There is a car park next to the residential house. There are a technical hall, gym, clubroom, a washroom, a pram room, a bicycle room, a storeroom and cellar booths for individual housing units. From the first floor up, there are individual housing units. Flats have an access from one central staircase. In this area, there is also planned a lift.

The bachelor thesis deals with the project documentation for building an apartment house in Lutopecká street in Kroměříž. The designed building is located in the western part of the town of Kroměříž, it is a detached building with four floors above ground and a basement. The residential building has a rectangular ground plan and is divided into two parts with separate entrances, each entrance has 15 residential units, so the total number of residential units in the whole building is proposed to be 30. The proposed apartments have a layout of 1+kk, 2+kk and 3+kk. The basement will be used for the technical background of the building and storage space for the residents of the building. The house is based on a monolithic reinforced concrete foundation slab made of waterproof concrete. The exterior walls of the house are a combination of monolithic reinforced concrete walls and ceramic bricks. The ceiling structures are made of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The entire building is covered by a flat roof with extensive vegetation. Building is clad with an ETICS system using mineral wool. The work also included a basic assessment of the building physics and fire safety design of the building.
New apartment building in Telč

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design and develop project documentation for a new apartment building. The apartment house is located in Telč. The building is designed as a free-standing building with three aboveground floors and one basement. There are eleven parking spaces next to the building. The basement of the floor plan extends above the ground floor, there is a common room, cellar and technical facilities. There are nine residential units on the upper floors. The apartment building is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips. Perimeter masonry in the basement is made of concrete blocks and in the upper floors of ceramic blocks. The internal load-bearing masonry is also made of ceramic blocks. The ceiling structure and the staircase are monolithic. An elevator is located between the arms of the staircase. The roof is flat, vegetative. The building envelope is insulated with the ETICS contact thermal insulation system.
Apartment Building in Litovel

This bachelor's thesis prepares project documentation at the level of construction. The apartment building is located in the northern built-up part of the city of Litovel. It is designed as a three-story building without a basement. In total, it includes 8 apartment units with layouts of 1+kk, 2+kk, and 3+kk, which are supplemented with cellars, technical facilities, garages, and common areas. The entrance to the building is on the east side. The residential building's vertical load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures are made of calcium silicate blocks. The building is insulated with a certified contact thermal insulation system. The foundation of the structure is implemented with plain concrete footings, and the foundations will be progressively interconnected. The horizontal structures are designed as reinforced concrete monolithic cross-reinforced slabs. The roof of the residential building is a flat single-skin green roof. The material and color scheme of the facade are adapted to the surrounding development.
Heating of flat house

The goal of this bachelor thesis is the design of heating systém and water heating for apartment house in township Jablůnka. In the theoretical part, I deal with the types of heating systems and radiators. In the computational part, I have designed the heat source, hot water heater, and the entire heating system. The conclusion of the thesis is a project, that contains a technical report and drawing documentation including attachments.

The bachelor's thesis deals with design of a new apartment building with nearly zero energy comsuption in the city of Trnava. Apartment building have 4 above ground floors, in which there are 14 housing units, the building has a basement. Whole building is connected by an elevator and two-arm staircase. In 1.S there is wellness zone with sauna for inhabitants, technical premises, engine room for ventilation system, carriage house, common room, cellars and room for a cleaning lady. On 1.NP floor besides storage room for the gardener there are housing units. On 2.NP and 4.NP there are housing units. In front of the building there are 16 designed parking spaces, of which 2 are for immobile. Building is based on foundation strips. The supporting system is wall-mounted. The ceiling and roof construction are formed by monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling. The Building is covered by a flat single-skin vegetation roof. Thermal insulation is solved by peripheral ceramic blocks POROTHERM filled with mineral wool.
The effective coverage of the heat demand using solar system

This master thesis aims to design the heating system and HDW preparation in an apartment building. The first variant deals with condensation gas boiler as the only energy source, while the second variant combines the gas boilers with the solar thermal system. The apartment building is located in Prag and has three above-ground floors and a basement. In the basement is the technical room. Convectors are being used for heat distribution. The theoretical part deals with the introduction to the solar thermal system.

Bachelors thesis „Residential building Brno – Lesná“ is processed in form of project documentation. This thesis investigates the apartment building with four apartments and an underground garage with stacking parking system. The plot is situated near housing estate Lesná, close with Diviš district, which is made up of small family houses. On the plot are situated five dimensionally similar houses, this work deals with one of them in detail. This is a building with two underground floors, two floors above and a residential attic. The underground part in which there is a parking space, use of reinforced concrete structure, above-ground part is made up of a brick wall system. The house is covered with wooden gable roof truss purlin system. The house has two two-room apartments and two maisonettes three-room apartments.

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is elaboration of the project documentation of an apartment building in Brno – Medlánky.
